Title: "NEXT" As I was browsing Netflix for an exciting sci–fi thriller movie, I came across a movie for one of my most favorite actors, Nicolas Cage. Do you have things that you like to do with others or by yourself? I love to watch movies with others and by myself. I really enjoy watching movies that I don't mind what kind of movie it is. I like fantasy movies the best or non–fiction because most of the time it is filled with new creatures or new world. An example can be the movie Avatar. Avatar is one my favorite movies because it a totally different world with different types of species with a different language. I think that by doing something with others it creates a bigger bond between each other. Since I was small until today I have loved disney movies. They are one of the best types of movies. I think music is a really important thing in life. Some people hear music to feel happy. Others hear music just to feel relaxed. I hear music because it helps me fall asleep, it makes me happy, and it also relaxes me a lot. Since I can remember I have been singing and dancing to music. At the moment I have two favorite bands

CNCO and Why Don't We. CNCO is a Spanish boy band that started from a tv show. Why Don't We are also a boy band that were all individual singers in youtube and got together to make this group. I think these guys are really good at singing and dancing. Some people use social media for drama. I use social media to see where my favorite celebrities are at and what they are up to. I only use three types of social media which are youtube, snapchat, and instagram. I use youtube the most because when I am

Pixel is My Favorite Movie

Pixel is a comedy movie based on old arcade games. The movie was directed by Chris Columbus and written by Timothy Dowling and Tim Herlihy. The movie came out in 2015 and had some really well known actors named Kevin James, Adam Sandler, Josh Gad, and Peter Dinklage. The group of actors worked with actress, Michelle Monaghan, to take down alien life forces that were trying to destroy the Earth. This movie has a competitive feel because as kids Eddie, Peter Dinklage, and Brenner, Adam Sandler, were in avideo game tournament together and ended up in the championship with each other. The finalarcade game was Donkey Kong. The match between the two got intense when, "We Will Rock You" by Queen came on in the...show more content...

The centipede went into a hotel and stopped in some elderly ladies room and started doing her work out with her then Brenner caught up with it and the centipede jumped out of the window and almost ate a kid but Brenner shot it from the back and killed it. It gets better because the kid like, "Who are you mister?" and Brenner said, "I'm just a loser who played video games as a kid." I honestly don't know why that conversation was so funny because the kid finished it off with, "Well thank God for that". It was time for celebration, but five minutes into the celebration the aliens issued the next challenge which was Pac–Man so back to work.

Pac–Man is man's best friend or so I thought. It all started when they had to go get Eddie from a federal prison. He had some really high demands before he decided to work with him especially the one where he wanted a date with Serena Williams. The creator of Pac–Man also came to help and altogether Eddie, Brenner, and Ludlow they all drove cars to try to "eat" Pac–Man like the ghost it in the actual arcade game. I guess they were at a handicap because the Creator got his arm bit off by his own creation, which was hysterically funny, so he couldn't drive but they still had a good odds three on one. Pac–Man had ended up getting his power pellets and ate Eddie and ludlow's car so it was only up to Brenner. Brenner ended up getting the win for the Earth

It's like every other night in california, going out with your friends to 7– eleven or just doing stupid stuff as 10 year old like seeing who can go down the sewer the farthest or who the fastest on a bike, I won of course. As it was fun to your friends again, there was something more important and way cooler.Baseball was tomorrow and my team has been having a great season so far, we were 8 to nothing and we were only in the double A, for kids we should be in the Majors. While that was cool my mom introduced me to a movie i've never seen before called the Sandlot. This movie was so amazing it was like a golden apple and taking your first bite. The movie was about how a kid who moved to a small town was in the middle of summer and wanted to learn how to play baseball and did and got really good at it, the only thing in his way was a beast dog named dug. This dog had the eyes of a evil demon with fur thicker than a bear and its jaw was big enough to fit a human head.

As the kids were scared of the dog there's was something more appealing to them. The pickle. This a play where your on third base and is in the middle of the catcher and the third baseman, your goal is to get home. Well in the movie the kids made it seem easy. Well I thought it was cool and my goal was to do it the next day, but I forgot, My name is Myles McNeill who is charismatic with locals and is extremely weird, but that's why people like me.

The next morning I got ready for my game at 8:30 still thinking

Magic "Mom i think Harry Potter is my favorite movie!" "I wish magic was actually real," Ronnie sighed. Ronnie's mom wanted to tell him it was actually real, but she thought he was still too young. "Well at least I live here, it is a pretty place!" Ronnie said approvingly. Ronnie was right indeed. His back and front yard are as green as a green highlighter (The good high quality ones). He had giant lush trees in his front yard that begged to have their juicy mangos picked. The land filled up with a nice flowery scent that you only find in certain, beautiful places. It is a great place to live. Every morning you got to wake up to the songs of birds, and got to look up at the deep blue sky. It was almost magical looking, but Ronnie knew magic couldn't be real. Wait, It's my birthday today! Ronnie thought as he woke up from bed. Yep today is March 28!, Ronnie excitedly thought as he looked at his Harry Potter calendar. Ronnie was just about to walk out of his door when his mom came in the room. "Ronnie, can we have a little talk?" Ronnie's mom asked. "Yeah sure," Ronnie answered. "So Ronnie you like Harry Potter a lot right?" Ronnie's mom asked. "Yeah, best movie ever" Ronnie said "Well, Stranger Things might be a little bit better," Ronnie said afterward. "Well how do you feel about it being your 11th birthday!" Ronnie's mom said. "Do you feel eleven?" "No not really, but I do feel good I'm a year older," Ronnie said. "Well I have something to tell you," Ronnie's mom told

Movies always have life lessons scattered throughout them. The Sandlot has many of them, and that is why it is my favorite movie. Some of the life lessons are: invite the new kid to play, don't overthink things and keep trying, believe you are worthy, go above and beyond for your friends, and confront your fears. Throughout the movie, the boys developed an unbreakable bond, went on adventures, and loved roasting each other; it was hilarious. I love how the movie is set up to teach others lessons and to entertain them as well.

The Sandlot started off with Scotty, Smalls, moving to a new neighborhood. Scotty saw a group of boys walking withbaseball equipment. He follows the boys to the Sandlot. Scotty wanted to play baseball but didn't know how. The boys invite him to play and Benny taught him how to catch. The first couple of life lessons the movie teaches the viewers is to invite the new kid to play and believe you are worthy. You should always be open to hang out with new people and make new friends. With Scotty not knowing how to play baseball and being the new kid in the neighborhood, he had to believe in himself. He had to keep trying his best to not overthink things, so he could get a spot on their team and do good. Slowly but surely, the boys became close friends and a great team that worked together.

Together they went on funny and touching adventures. From playing baseball every day at the sandlot to spending some nights in the tree house, going to the carnival, and running into the other baseball team, the boys developed an unbreakable bond. The boys ran into a problem at the sandlot one day though. They hit their last ball over the fence and they couldn't get it because of the Beast, an English Mastiff. Struggling to find the change to buy a new ball, Smalls told the boys that he had a ball they could use; they got all excited and told him to go get it. He ran home, went into his stepdad's collector's room, and grabbed a ball off of his collector's shelf. That ball was not just a baseball though, it was a baseball signed by Babe Ruth, an American professional baseball player whose career in theMajor League Baseball spanned 22 seasons. The boys insist that Smalls should be the one who got

For as long as I can remember the Adventures of the Wilderness Family has been my favorite movie. I was fascinated by how close to nature Pat, Skip, Jenny, and Toby were and particularly how close to wildlife they were. Every time I watched that movie I was just in awe of how beautiful it was and how they could sustain themselves and persevere through anything including multiple animal attacks. When I was a kid I always imagined running free in a field filled with flowers and being so close to nature and feeling free to explore my own little world. I have watched this movie countless times and have purposely never examined any faults the movie might have because I enjoyed it exactly the way it was. Whenever a character got attacked they seemed to take it really lightly, when realistically that is life–threatening. Childhood me really appreciated this movie for the kind of life I hoped to live when I got older. As a kid I would spend a lot of time by the pond outside my dad's house and exploring the woods and backyard with my brothers and my Dad and watching this movie made me look toward the possibility of one day living a life that ultimately felt free from my parents' issues and social conflicts and allowed me to find the heart and soul of who I am and depend on myself as I felt in a way I always had. As a kid I felt like the odd duck out sometimes and felt trapped between my parents as I still do today, so moving to a place like Gunnison National Forest seemed like the ultimate sense of freedom to me. I wasn't looking for a place where I felt like I was free from all of the issues I had to deal with growing up and I could thrive as an individual without having to worry about having the coolest new things that my elementary peers had before it was uncool or eventually about having the latest Apple products or designer handbags. A lesson this movie really pushes to heart on its viewers is the importance of reducing materialistic values. During the time that this movie was produced America started becoming more urban and building new cities. The start of the movie takes

Persuasive Essay About My Favorite Movie

My favorite movie is the Shawshank Redemption. Man, I love that movie. I actually went and read the book after, because I enjoyed the movie so much. There's just something about the ending that I really love. When he finally busts out, and is running in the runoff, and he throws his hands in the air, I just feel so good. I think I love it so much because it's about the crazy work that I talked about earlier in the paper. He dedicates his whole being towards something, and then perfectly executes a plan. I just really look up to people that do that.

My favorite hero as I kid was always batman, because he didn't have any superpowers. He was just a really smart guy with a lot of money. He did it all with intelligence and resources, not inherent powers. Superman didn't do anything; in fact, he's just a normal dude on another planet. He's only a hero on Earth, which is a bit lame. As I've gotten older, I've tended to look at real people as heroes, rather than these made–up figures, mainly because they never actually did anything; why look up to them? Today I look at people like Stephen Hawking, who wrote a book while paralyzed, or even successful athletes, who dedicate all their energy to their sport, in order to escape poverty. People who work and sacrifice to accomplish their goals are people I admire.

I really want to be able to die knowing that I've made a positive impact on the world around me. I would be nowhere today without all of the help I've gotten from other

What Is Your Favorite Movie?

What is your favorite movie?" Ms. Patrisko asked me this question and by this time I knew that I was hired in. I was 16 and it was spring time. The summer was coming up and it was going to be a very big one for movies. This job would be something different for me and would help shape my future. The five yearsa that I had spent working and growing through a movie theater supplied me with many memories, an opportunity to grow as a professional and has equipped me with lifelong friends. Some of my most favorite memories were constructed at the little movie theater in Wooster, OH. One of the major perks to working at a movie theater, is the fact that I was able to get into any movie I wanted to at any time. I was also able to take friends to the movies for free which made me pretty popular with everyone! My fondest memory of working at the movie theater was watching movies before they were to come out. It seemed every Thursday night I would be at the movie theater after 12:00AM, sitting down with my friends, devouring freshly popped popcorn, guzzling on some Cherry Coke, and eating as much delicious candy as possible. As I progressed through the company, this became a reoccurring theme throughout the five years I spent there. When I finally became an assistant manager, I was in charge of building movies. Building movies consisted of taking anywhere from five to even eight or nine movie reels and splicing them together in the correct order to create the movie. This

As 2016 draws to its inevitable close, it's time for me to look back on the (literally) hundreds of movies I've seen this year and decide which ten were my absolute favorites. A heady task, I know– but someone who calls himself "The Black Saint" has gotta do it. And since I'm the only person around here in the depths of Gruesome Manor that answers to that name, I guess that task falls to me.

But before I get to the final ten, I'd like to give shout outs to some films that I enjoyed out of the horror genre. Films like Deadpool, which took the whole superhero genre and freshened it in a most ribald, hilarious and unexpected way. Captain America: Civil War is pretty much my favorite superhero movie so far, I loved its intrigue, action, and flat out incredible battle scenes. Having the Black Panther and Spider–Man in the mix didn't hurt any either. Marvel films went 3 for 3 this year with the release of Doctor Strange, which (in IMAX 3D) was the first superherofilm to actually make me feel like I was in another dimension. A real experience to witness in the IMAX format.

Getting back to the horror genre, Green Room was one of the most harrowing films of the year for sure, with scenes of violence that still make me wince when I think of them. Larry Kent's She Who Must Burn is more morality tale than horror film, but it's scenes of horror are about as potent as any I've witnessed this year, it features villains that I truly despised, and an ending that stayed with me for

Have you ever thought about what kind of movies you have watched and why you have watched them? Ever since I was a child, I always liked watching movies that had unique and interesting characteristics in it. My parents told me that when I was a child I never wanted to watch movies that were long and had boring plot. They tell me that I was very fussy on what movies I wanted to watch, and that I always watched movies that encouraged or taught kids something good about behaviour or environment.. Since my parents told me this, I can now very much relate to my childhood and I think that I have not changed at all. This is because I am still very picky about the movies I watch. All the movies should have certain characteristics such as acting, villain, and plot in order to be considered good movies by the audience. Without a good actor in a movie, the movie will seem mundane to the audience watching it. One of the movies that I think has good acting is Home Alone. In this movie, there is a boy name Kevin who is left behind at his house while his family goes on a vacation. This movie is all about how Kevin, an eight year old boy, faces difficulties while he is alone at his house and learns that two burglars are planning to rob his house. I think this movie is great and entertaining because it shows how an eight year old kid deals with the robbery that was going to take place in his house all by himself. Another movie that I believe has good acting is Star Wars– The Force Get

My favorite movie would be Pixar's Inside Out. Yes Sixteen years old and to this day still could watch this movie over and over again. I would recommend this movie to all ages. But especially, little kids. Inside Out teaches you multiple lessons that will have you thinking completely different about your feelings and life. Inside Out is about a little girl named Riley who is mainly happy all the time until her parents tell her she is moving. This movie is told by the feelings in her head that everybody goes through on a daily basis. The main feelings are Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Fear, and Anger. Its their job to help Riley through her childhood which is a lot of school, social, and mental challenges. Like I said in the beginning when Riley was forced to move from Minnesota to San Francisco, Joy and Sadness has to take a trip through Riley's mind which is her subconscious, her imagination, and they have to make an attempt to save the long term memories that could be lost by the move. Just before the move to Minnesota the main emotion throughout the movie was Joy. But, right after the move Sadness becomes the main emotion due to so many of the changes in her life(Having no friends in school, Not having a lot of attention from her parents, and hating her school). Joy keeps pushing to try to make everything right with Riley emotions. It finally hits her that it's not possible for her to make everything right. So, she gives up and lets sadness takes

Released in 1968, 2001: A Space Odyssey was produced and directed by Stanley Kubrick, and written by Stanley Kubrick and Arthur C. I did not quite understand what was going on during the film, but I was so mesmerized by the film that I decided to keep watching. 2001: A Space Odyssey is about an imposing black structure that provides a connection between the past and the future. Dr. Dave Bowman and other astronauts are sent on a mission, their ship's computer HAL–9000, begins to display strange behavior, leading up to a tense showdown between man and machine. 2001: A Space Odyssey is my favorite film for several reasons. One reason 2001: A Space Odyssey is my favorite film is because the film introduced me to a new genre of cinema and opened a new world of different types of films to me. Essay On My Favourite Movie

Every person can relate to being asked the question: "What's your favorite movie?". Most of the time this is a very tricky question for people to answer, simply because there are so many viable options to chose from. Strangely enough, if you were to ask a movie director or producer what their favorite films are, they'd give you a straightforward and honest answer consisting of only one or a few different titles that come to mind. As strange as it sounds, directors who have grown up or become accustomed to the Film Industry usually have strong set opinions and perspectives that tend to reflect in their own projects and exploits, even though they are continually surrounded by all sorts of inspirations and potential influencers. Contrary to what you might expect, these directors, editors, producers, and creators tend to remain very set in their ways and adapt their works into forms of reflectives stemming from their everyday perspective. My own aunt, Devin Adair, has worked in the film industry for nearly two decades, during which she has spent time in commercial, television, independent and studio film markets, finally chasing her own dream of creating her own masterpiece of film. Her, like many before, came into the industry bright–eyed and hopeful, awaiting the great and many potential opportunities. But she came to realize that the road leading there would have many twists and turns, each producing more and more speed bumps along the way. Her story is one of battling

My favorite movie of all time is Se7en. Two lead detectives played by Morgan Freeman and Brad Pit, try to catch a serial killer name John Doe (played by Kevin Spacey) who is obsess with the seven deadly sins. By using these sins, he will torture and even kill people to represent their deadly sin. The concept of the movie and the legendary actors, and the dramatization made this movie my favorite movie. But also, I learn a lot about the villain John Doe. His mindset behind these murders, made me understand the notion of criminology. His actions and decisions help answered some of our basic questions; like why would he commit this crime, and what possess him to commit those crime? In the movie, John Doe is a very intelligent man, who loved to play mind games to the detectives. He will get inside detectives heads many times, and was very strategic about his plans. Detectives could not find any trace of criminal background, or just his background in general. John Doe even slice his fingertips, to make sure detective have no fingerprint to trace. His goal throughout the whole movie was to make a point about society and the sins that is committed everyday by people. He also wanted to be known to the world for his crime that he committed and make everybody know who is John Doe. But not only who he is, but the evil that is seen every day but nobody is doing nothing about it. He explains in one of the most famous monologue in movie history. This might be the hardest question for me to answer. What's my favorite movie? Like books, a movie is another way to connect with fictional characters and it really is hard to choose your favorite adventure. I would have to say I enjoy the movie White Chicks and any movie that I can have a good cry and laugh on – it's hard to choose a favorite movie. To me, to be literate means that you are able to read and able to comprehend sentences. Also, when you are able to read abook and envision the story unfold in your mind. To be able to read is to be able to interpret a story into your own, what you think the author is telling you. I also believe that you can read movies, music, and people etc. For example, a psychologist is able to read people's expressions and emotions. A conductor or musician reads music and is able to interpret that into music. I see movies as books but just being played intron tot your eyes instead of words...show more content...

What Is My Favorite Movie Essay

Movie My Favorite Movie

I love watching movies. Their ability to transport you to another world for two hours and make you care about people that aren't real is the most unrecognized form of magic. I'm not a critic, so any movie will do, as long as I'm interested enough to watch it. Many movies stick in my mind, whether it's a hilarious joke, an awesome fight scene, or simply a unique plot. There is one movie, however, which stands out among them all. A film I had never heard of before viewing called Prisoners. From start to finish, I was invested in the characters and their goals. I felt their fear and desperation. I was in the movie, not sitting on my living room couch. The movie Prisoners was suspenseful, chilling, and memorable, so there is no doubt in my mind that it is my favorite movie, and I will likely remember it for the rest of my life. The backbone of any good movie is the story. The story is the rope that the movie uses to drag you in, to make you feel for the characters, to make you more than a simple movie viewer. Prisoners was about Keller Dover, an average man with a teenage son and a young daughter. They have friends down the street, another family just like them. Life isn't perfect, but it's far from anything worth complaining about. Then. the unthinkable happens. The young girl goes missing. From that moment on, both the police and Keller search for her, but they use methods that are drastically different from each other. This poses a question to the audience: How far would you go for the people you love? The way the movie portrayed the desperation of Mr. Dover and the detective assigned to the case was perfect. As time went on, doubt and fear began to take over the minds of everyone involved. As they mystery was slowly unraveled, many twists and turns prevented the solution from being obvious. I was constantly thinking about what might have happened, and I was still nowhere near to close. The emotions felt by everyone who feared for this innocent girl and wondered where she was exploded on the TV screen. It was suspenseful, heart–wrenching, and everything you could want from a movie. Truly, an excellent story propelled Prisoners into my mind and my heart, more than earning my favor. Besides a great storyline,
