PGA Associates will rotate through core departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of private club operations. Each rotation is designed to build technical skills, leadership capacity, and industry insight.
Rotational Areas Include:
• Tournament Operations
Assist with planning, setup, scoring, and execution of member and guest tournaments
• Retail Operations
Support inventory management, merchandising, member service, and POS systems in the golf shop
• Golf Cart Fleet Management
Learn fleet logistics, maintenance protocols, and daily operational procedures
• Outside Operations Engage in bag handling, member greetings, tee time coordination, and pace-of-play monitoring
• Practice Facility Operations
Maintain range setup, ball management, and member engagement at the practice tee
This internship is designed for entry-level professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of large-scale private club operations PGA Associates will gain hands-on experience across multiple departments while building credibility and connections within the golf industry

• Enhance leadership, communication, and service skills
• Prepare for future roles in golf management or PGA certification pathways

Redesigned in 2024 by Kipp Schulties Golf Design, the East Course showcases a modernized layout with new contours, enhanced drainage, and reimagined greens and bunkers Strategic elevation changes and expanded teeing areas create a visually engaging and dynamic course that challenges golfers of all levels while preserving the Club’s signature Florida character.



The North Course delivers a timeless Florida golf experience emphasizing precision and accuracy A Sanford Golf Design, it features tree-lined fairways, subtle undulations, and wellprotected greens. Known for rewarding thoughtful shot placement, the North offers a tranquil yet demanding round for golfers who appreciate strategy and control.
A transformative initiative, led by Beau Welling Design, is set to begin in January 2026, aiming to revive our Championship South Course, which was last renovated 24 years ago. Beau Welling brings decades of experience assisting Tom Fazio & Tiger Woods, and designing courses around the world Witness the excitement and be part of the Ribbon Cutting in 2027 celebrating more strategic hole designs, improved playability, and enhanced course conditions.
