Hurricane Harvey is not a punishment from God to the children of Adam and Eve who worship Trump Tower. It is the consequence of the alteration of the Earth’s climate imposed on society by the State on behalf of the Fossil Fuel Robber Barons. Their purpose is the making of megaprofits at the expense of the extermination of life. The people who are suffering the hurricane’s effect are the victims of the fury of cannibalistic capitalism. It is being stimulated by the Trump Kleptocracy that controls the State and the mind of its tributaries. As the Obama Kleptocracy of Hope did, the Trump Horsemen keep on freeing the Wall Street predators from any regulation the State could enforce to control their insatiable avarice. As the plutocracy’s judge and executioner, the State can not solve the problems it causes. It can only enforce its law of inequality and injustice militarily.
