The one-page way to reinvent your work at any stage

Good Work Modeling is a core experience offered by GOVguild helping APS members to reinvent their work at any stage of life. By mastering the single-page, four-step modeling method, Business Model You®, individuals gain career clarity and confidence. The Core Experience is designed by GOVguild's in-house Certified Business Model You® Facilitator and is unique to GOVguild.

• The core experience includes relevant monthly activities throughout the Four Seasons Performance Series. It provides modeling best practices, templates, and resources, enabling an understanding of how APS, agency, division, team, and personal service models interrelate. Participants get lots of opportunities and support to practice applying designer mindsets, tools, frameworks, and data to enjoy the present moment at their jobs and attain the freedom to prototype a new future.

• Participants gain advanced insight into the complex APS environment and learn to grasp the unique model of their agency, as well as the logic by which they create and deliver value. Good Work Modeling empowers individuals to transform their work lives by designing and building a better and more meaningful job without necessarily having to quit and find a new one or search for some non-existent dream job.

• By choosing Good Work Modeling, participants share an experience with their fellow members and master a common tool that is integrated throughout the Four Seasons Performance Series. This greatly enhances their overall experience and ability to achieve both the Good Work Life and the 1% Challenge as a collective.

It also provides participants with advanced insight into the complex APS environment and empowers them to transform their work lives by grasping the unique model of their agency and the logic by which they create and deliver value, supporting the APS objective of developing a new operating model for the APS that is citizen-centric, collaborative, and joined-up across government.
