The combination of sophomore Mason Riggs and senior Matt Griffin was too much for Van Alstyne as Howe (12-5, 4-1) took home the victory, 6-1 Riggs was officially the winning pitcher
Riggs threw four and one-third innings, allowing one run on two hits, striking out five He exited in a tight game with runners at second and third Griffin came in and got a ground ball and a strikeout to put out the fire. His final relief outing totaled twothirds innings, allowing no runs, two hits, and striking out three

Peyton Reagan led the Dogs with three hits in four plate appearances Seniors Brandon Wall, Brennan Ross, and Tyler Grisham each hit doubles with Wall's driving in two. Ross had the other RBI of the night

Ross, Dyson Dillard, and Riggs led Howe with two hits each Dillard had Howe's only extra base hit with an RBI double in the first to score Ross. Howe led the game, 3-0 after the first inning, but the Farmers took adavantage of every opportunity
