New "Dog Horn" displayed at game
Brian Ross of the Howe Athletic Booster Club stands on the sidelines near the end zone during every Friday night Bulldogs football game to sound the 'Dog Horn Just in time for district play, he got a shiny new toy that is sure to wake the neighbors - in Van Alstyne
"We were wanting to go a little bigger" said Ross "I started doing a little research and was referred to Howard at Grayson Compressor in Denison and they donated the tank portion of the horn and did some work to get it ready for painting "

Once it was ready for the final stages, Star Auto Body in Howe put their flare on it with the sharp contrasting shiny black and white school color paint job Star Auto Body also installed the horns and mounted a Bulldog head shifter knob for a lever and turned the tank into a full-blown mega air horn
"The only thing that was paid for in this project were the horns and the booster club paid for that " said Ross "Howard at Grayson Compressor and Bobby and his crew at Star Auto Body deserve a lot of recognition for this project "
The horn is very similar to the train horn that comes through Howe every evening and could possibly be just as loud or louder
