Howe fifth and sixth grade rebound to beat Trenton, 29-12

Celina beats Howe's fifth grade

Austin Haley was 7-8 passing with three touchdowns on Saturday to lead the Howe Bulldogs fifth and sixth grade team to a 29-12 win

Tate Harvey scored Howe's first touchdown on a 15 yard scamper Haley's first touchdown pass was to Cooper Jones for 15 yards Later, Haley would find a wide open Ryan Hough for a 30-yard H k 21 0 l d scoring Extra point conversions were made by Harvey, Jones and Hough

Howe is now 1-1 and will play Blue Ridge at Leonard at 10:30 next Saturday

Playing Celina is always a challenge at any sport at any age Howe came up empty in their attempt to beat the Bobcats

Bulldogs played the Collinsville Pirates Saturday afternoon The Pirates would have the first possession and after a three and out, it would only take the Bulldogs three plays to to score with Braden Ulmer on an endaround play and Triston Williams would secure a pass from Garren Lankford for the 2-point conversion

The Bulldogs would continue on the next possession with a Lankford pass to Williams that would put the Bulldogs up 14-0 at the end of the first quarter The Bulldogs' run would continue in touchdowns by Lankford, Malachi Dailey and Ulmer as Howe led the Pirates 36-0 at the half

The second half would start off with Vincent (Junior) Castellanos taking the ball for a scamper to the end zone and Parker Daniels securing a pass for the conversion

The game would end with five different Bulldogs scoring and the defense playing a near perfect game to post a final score of 48-0

With the win, Howe moves to 1-1 on the season and next week's opponent will be the Whitewright Tigers in Whitewright
