committed to obeying Christ The Bible describes love as a commitment to do what is right before God Emotions can fade and are hard to control but commitment is a choice The world’s laws may change and define marriage differently but God’s definition will always remain the same Marriage is a reflection of the nature of God your husband as you would respect Jesus Himself God gave you each other and He said it’s good This kind of marriage speaks the love of Christ in a hopeless world The love that Christ showed us while we were still sinners creates in us a desire to serve Him and a willingness to obey Him Serve Him in the mission field of your marriage

“If you are a husband, you should be thoughtful of your wife. Treat her with honor because she isn’t as strong as you are, and she shares with you in the gift of life. Then nothing will stand in your way of your prayers,” 1 Peter 3:7.
