Clifford Tatum, the new Harris County Elections Administrator may have been hired by Harris County without being properly vetted. The Elections Commission chose Clifford Tatum as the successor to Isabel Longoria was comprised of (4) four Democrats and (1) one Republican. Harris County Republican Party Chairman Cindy Siegel voted right along with the four Democrats (County Judge Lina Hidalgo, County Clerk Teneshia Hudspeth, County Tax Assessor-Collector Ann Harris Bennett, and Harris County Democratic Party Chairman Odus Evbagharu) when Clifford Tatum was initially selected.
