The State of Texas has issued a summons to Eligah Clifton Jason to appear in court in the City of Port Arthur, in Jefferson County, Texas, to testify against the woman known as "Dr." Candice Matthews. It is not clear at this time if Quanell X, the founder of the New Black Panther Nation, will appear in court along with Candice Matthews, the National Minister of Politics for the New Black Panther Nation. Candice's trial will be held at 645 4th Street in Port Arthur, Texas, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 9:00 AM, according to the Court Clerk for the City of Port Arthur.
