The Right Choice

ABOUT MARY NAN HUFFMAN

Mary Nan Huffman is the experienced choice for Harris County. She is a mom and a smart, tough prosecutor, not a politician.

“As your next district attorney, I will hold criminals accountable by enforcing the laws of the State of Texas and then administering appropriate punishment. I will protect the public by supporting the efforts of law enforcement and be a voice for victims. I will return experience to the district attorney’s office, so the citizens of Harris County have a safe place to live, work, and play.”

Mary Nan Huffman is running for Harris County District Attorney because public safety is most important. She looks forward to seeking justice in evidence-based investigations while running the office with the highest ethical standards because that is what the citizens of Harris County expect and deserve. Mary Nan Huffman grew up with her four siblings in Denton, Texas. Huffman watched her parents’ involvement in local politics and learned from an early age the importance of public service. Mary Nan graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Political Science degree and attended St. Mary’s University School of Law. While in law school, she worked at the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office and developed a passion for criminal prosecution. Mary Nan Huffman served as a prosecutor in the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office for almost 10 years, rising quickly to become the Chief Felony Prosecutor in the Child Exploitation Division and over the Internet Crimes Against

The Huffman Family Children (ICAC) Division. During her time as Chief of Child Exploitation, she prosecuted a wide range of internet-related crimes committed against children: child human trafficking; the possession, production, and promotion of child pornography, child sexual assault; and any other case involving the sexual exploitation of children online. She directed the work of multi-agency task forces from federal, state, and local agencies. Huffman’s work as a prosecutor of child exploitation cases has earned criminal conviction yielding 11 life sentences and four 99-year sentences. She has earned a national reputation and is sought after as a special prosecutor for difficult child exploitation prosecutions. Huffman now works as an attorney for the Houston Police Officers’ Union representing officers in a variety of matters associated with duties as an officer. Mary Nan has been married to Eli Huffman III for 11 years. The Huffman family attends St. Cecilia Catholic Church. They have 2 young sons. Huffman wants her children to grow up in a safe place and believes everyone deserves to feel safe. Huffman loves Harris County and thinks it’s one of the greatest, friendliest places to live, but believes our hospitality doesn’t have to extend to people who commit violent crimes.

Judge STACI

FOR JUSTICE, TEXAS SUPREME COURT

Dear Texans:

Throughout my career, I have worked hard to develop a reputation for being a fair and dedicated judge. I am determined to apply that reputation as a member of the Texas Supreme Court. So much of the state's most critical business and citizen's interest come before this court. The Texas Supreme Court is the highest court in the State of Texas for civil matters. Currently, all 9 Justice seats represent a Republican based mindset influencing the functions of business and the lives of people who may not share that particular mindset. For this very reason, I am asking for your support. Please elect me as your experienced, fair and balanced voice in the Texas Supreme Court.

Sincerely,

Hello,

I want to introduce myself; my name is Mark Alan Harrison. I come to you today with unabashed enthusiasm to announce my candidacy for Harris County Precinct 5 Constable. I care very deeply for our community. I’m an experienced leader, veteran law enforcement officer, and Former Chief of Police and Lieutenant with the Harris County Constable Office. I am a lifelong resident of Sharpstown, having attended Sutton Elementary, Jane Long Junior High, and Sharpstown High School. My family has belonged to the Sharpstown Baptist Church since 1970. I am the father of a wonderful daughter and grandfather of three amazing granddaughters. Harris County Precinct 5 has become the fastest growing and most diverse precinct in the county. I believe that the Constable’s Office needs to develop new ideas and methods to serve all of the community better. A house is merely a structure, but a home is the people living in it. It’s the same with our community:

our community isn’t the area or the land, it’s the people that live within. From Southwest Houston to Katy, our desires for our home are the same. Regardless of race, gender, sexual identity, religion, or political party, we all need to work together to make a positive change in our community. I am asking for your support in the upcoming election. I will work hard to earn your trust, and if elected, my Office will never forget the importance of those for whom we work. I look forward to our journey together to a better future.

Champion’s Mission PAID FOR BY CHAMPION FOR CONGRESS

I am running for Congress to serve you. I went from Welfare to West Point. One of the things I learned in my life as a soldier is that when you’re on a battlefield, you don’t leave people behind. You go in and you pull them out! For too long, too many of our elected officials have prospered themselves by convincing our neighbors they cannot succeed because they were born poor. I know that’s simply not true. I know it because I’ve lived it. I have experienced a front row seat to the American Dream. I’m prepared to run on a message of hope, a message of truth. I know that if you want to lead, you have to serve. I know that real leaders put others’ needs before themselves. A real leader serves the food and eats last. Support me as I endeavor to serve the families of Congressional District 18! Together, we can improve the lives of the community. Together, we can alter the destiny of a great American city. Together, we all advance. Together, we can help more of our neighbors be the Champions they were meant to be! Together We Win!

PROUD TEXAN

Judge Yeary is a Texan through and through. Born in Cotulla and raised in Laredo, where his family has deep roots, he obtained both his undergraduate degree and his law degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. He and his wife have four children, and they now live in the Texas Hill Country, near Austin.

EXPERIENCED

Judge Yeary is the only currently serving Judge on the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals to have previously worked at the Court as an attorney. From 1991 to 1992, he served as briefing attorney to the late Honorable Judge Bill M. White. After his clerkship, Judge Yeary spent time working first as a civil litigator and as a criminal defense attorney and then as a prosecutor. Before his election in 2014, he served

nearly 20 years as an appellate prosecutor, working in three of Texas’ largest District Attorney’s offices – in Dallas, Houston, and then in San Antonio. He briefed and argued cases before both the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals and the Texas Supreme Court. He also prepared and filed briefs in cases before the United States Supreme Court.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

Judge Yeary believes it is the job of the Legislature and the Governor to establish policy for our state. He believes that the Judicial Department of our government should exercise restraint when called upon to interpret the law. The Judiciary must be fiercely independent, but also cautious in the exercise of its immense power. This is particularly true with regard to Judges serving on high courts.

Hello Fellow Texans,

My background for over 30 years as a trial and appellate lawyer and a state judge makes me uniquely qualified to protect the ideals of truth and justice with unwavering vigilance. Having lived in 6 states and 3 foreign countries in an Air Force family, I gained a broad perspective of different cultures. San Antonio has been my home for over 40 years, where I reside with my wife of 35 years and our son. Covid-19 and Maintaining Your Voter Registration

I

OPINION by CHRIS DANIEL

In these trying times, we are all experiencing new hardships--including loss of income and even eviction. You still have the right to vote. Covid-19 might have affected you personally or your family, but you will still have a chance to shape the future of Houston and Harris County by voting. Recently evicted, homeless, etc.? --you have certain rights under the law regarding your right to vote. Those rights are determined by whether you were registered before or after your involuntary change in address. Registered beforehand? Notify the local voter registrar about your change in status and where you intend to live next. You will receive a new, corrected certificate. You will be able to vote with your new precinct information 30 days after your notice has been received. Meanwhile: You may vote a full ballot with your former precinct information if your registration has not become effective with your new precinct information in time for the current election.

Didn’t get a chance to register? The law is clear that you have the right to register to vote so long as you meet the residency requirements, even if that is a shelter, church, park, etc. The key is to provide a mailing address that you can easily receive mail at in addition to the approximate physical address you maintain your current (hopefully temporary) residency. Your new registration card will have both the approximate physical location and the mailing address where you are sending the card. The goal is to maintain your precious right to vote. Some may still find themselves on the voter suspension list. If your registration is in “suspense”, you can still vote. Your voter registration is NOT cancelled. “In order to maintain the accuracy of the voter roll, voters put on suspense who have not provided the voter registrar with a new Harris County address are to be removed from the voter roll in accordance with Sec. 16.032 of the Election Code. The Election Code specifies that a suspended voter is to be removed (purged) from the voter roll on the November 30, of the even year after the voter has been

on suspense for two general elections. The voter registrar maintains a list of suspended voters purged from the voter roll.” A voter whose status is on suspense is eligible to vote in an election provided that the voter completes a Statement of Residence either when voting by mail or at the polls prior to voting (within the same county as the voter’s current registration) or (if the voter has moved to a new county) completes a Limited Ballot application during Early Voting at the main early voting polling place. A voter on Suspense who has moved within the same county would be allowed to vote on Election Day by returning to the precinct in which the voter previously resided and completing a Statement of Residence at that time. A voter may also complete a Voter Registration Application to update his/her address prior the Registration Cutoff deadline for any election and send the newly updated application to the Voter Registrar in the county in which the voter resides.--Texas Secretary of State Don’t let Covid-19 deter you from keeping our country free and our democracy safe. See you at the polls!

Former FBI Agent Charles “Chuck” Marler Has Set His Sights on Local Businessman Gerald Womack

B

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Businessman Gerald Womack is considered by some people to be a “KINGMAKER” in local Harris County, Texas politics. His business dealings run deep. But his footprint in Harris County politics is much deeper. In case you don't know, Gerald Womack is known as a shrewd businessman in the real estate world here locally. He's loved by a bunch of folks, revered by many others, and yes, even hated by a few. Even still, he's really not someone you want to cross the wrong way in the “POLITICAL WORLD” if you know what I mean. Why? Well, he’s the right-hand man of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, the U.S. Representative for the 18th Congressional District of Texas. With Womack's help, Congresswoman Lee has won election after election by dominating her opponents in the “ABSENTEE BALLOT CATEGORY” in the 18th Congressional District. But according to former FBI agent and Private Investigator Chuck Marler, whether or not the victories are tainted is questionable. That being said, Charles "Chuck" Marler (a surveillance specialist) is claiming to have credible allegations that Gerald Womack, is allegedly running an illegal ballot harvesting operation in Harris County, Texas. And with his 4412 Almeda Road – Houston, Texas 77004 location also listed as the address for Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee for Congress – Marler believes the allegations he’s received are worthy of an investigation and has decided to put his team to work. Why? Well, according to Marler, we don’t have to look much further than the results of the Tuesday, March 3, 2020, Democratic Party Primary race for United States Congress for the 18th Congressional District to see why he’s going to be watching the “KNOWN ABSENTEE BALLOT HARVESTERS” very closely in the weeks leading up to the Tuesday, November 3, 2020, general election. What is he talking about? Well, somehow, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee received 6,202 absentee ballot votes – which turned out to be more than the “TOTAL VOTE COUNT” of any of her Democratic Party primary challengers. What’s wrong with this? Well, it was rumored in some political circles that Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee had around 6,000 (or so) “ABSENTEE BALLOTS” to her credit before Election Day even arrived. How dominant was her performance in the “ABSENTEE BALLOT CATEGORY” back in the primaries? Well, as a refresher, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee received,

6,202 absentee ballots; Mark Flores only received 271 absentee ballots; Jerry Ford Sr. only received 168 absentee ballots; Michael Allen only received 118 absentee ballots, Bimal Patel only received 70 absentee ballots; Stevens Orozco only received 70 absentee ballots; Donovan Boson only received 33 absentee ballots to round out the field of six Democrats who were challenging Congresswoman Lee. On Tuesday, November 3, 2020, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee will face off against Wendell Champion in the race for the 18th Congressional District of Texas. Early voting will begin on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, and end on Friday, October 30, 2020, in Texas.

Gerald Womack A Local Businessman Get’s Paid a Visit by Former FBI Agent and Private Investigator Charles "Chuck" Marler

Whether you believe “ABSENTEE BALLOT HARVESTING” is a “BIG PROBLEM” in Harris County, Texas, or not is beside the point now – according to Charles Marler, a local private investigator who worked for the FBI for 16-years. “I’m going to bring an end to the “ABSENTEE BALLOT HARVESTING” game if it’s the last thing I do while here on this earth,” says Marler. “This crap has gone on too long in our county,” he explained. And from the information I’ve gathered, I have a very good reason to believe Gerald Womack is one of the ring-leaders who is enabling and employing known harvesters. According to his website, the mission of Womack Development & Investment Realtors is to provide premier real estate services to his clients, resulting in lifelong business relationships and complete customer satisfaction. “The name Gerald Womack has been on my radar for some time now,” says Marler. “I have credible allegations that Womack, is running an illegal ballot harvesting operation in Harris County,” explained Marler, in a letter he sent di-

rectly to Harris County Clerk Chris Hollins last week on Thursday, September 3, 2020. “There are witnesses that I have spoken with regarding his operation. The witnesses have also alleged that two employees at the Harris County Clerk's office are facilitating the illegal activity by walking in illegal absentee ballots and placing them in with the legal ballots,” Marler alleges. “This of course presents an even bigger problem if mail-in balloting is expanded because this illegal activity will only grow,” said Maller in his plea to Harris County Clerk Chris Hollins. “I am continuing to investigate this activity and wanted you to be aware of this,” he went on to say. Marler closed out his letter to Harris County Clerk Chris Hollins by asking for his help. “Please help me get to the bottom of this and I appreciate your attention to this matter. The citizens of Harris County are depending on you.”

management, professionalism, and most importantly; customer service. Charles Marler And His Team are Planning to Keep a Close Eye on Known Absentee Ballot Harvesters In Run Up to Tuesday, November 3, 2020 According to his website, Charles worked for the FBI for 16 years learning all facets of the Bureau's complex operations from evidence collection, radio communications, aviation surveillance, and Forward-Looking InfraRed (FLIR). Charles was an Investigative Specialist for 12 years as a member of the Special Surveillance Group and conducted, organized, and completed thousands of surveillances on Drugs (as FLIR operator), Intelligence, and Terrorism targets. shipments, violent crime, and kidnap searches. Since 2008, Charles has been a co-owner of a private investigative firm based in Houston and has worked as a Private Investigator in Texas for the past four years which specializes in covert physical surveillance operations. As a P.I. he has performed criminal investigations and conducted surveillance operations involving workman's compensation, child custody, drug use, theft, and the elusive but frequent cheating spouse.

Womack Development is located at 4412 Almeda Road in Houston, Texas. If you see or hear of any illegal voting activities (in or around) this building between now and Tuesday, November 3, 2020, you are strongly encouraged to contact former FBI agent/private investigator Charles "Chuck" Marler immediately. If you are not sure how big of a problem "ABSENTEE BALLOT HARVESTING" is in Harris County, Texas, you are strongly encouraged to take a moment and review the results of the 2-year investigation that was conducted by Colleen M. Vera, of TEXAS TRASH TALK that was sent to the Texas Secretary of State several months ago. Once this report was reviewed Ruth R. Hughs, the Texas Secretary of State it was forwarded to the Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, informing that the 2-year investigation by Collen M. Vera had merit and should be investigated by the Attorney General's Office.
