Elevated Outdoor Living

Deck Craft Plus, LLC’s artistry and dedication are evidenced in its outstanding projects and homeowner satisfaction. by

Deck Craft Plus, LLC’s projects have left homeowners and visitors awestruck for over two decades. Such results are obtained through a commitment to integrity, superior craftsmanship and customer service. Featured is a recently completed project that was customized to homeowner Stephanie Steigelmann’s ideal expectations.

“Deck Craft was fantastic to work with on our deck project. Their craftsmanship is top-notch. They were very communicative. Our project was done in the middle of July in the blazing heat and they were here every day working,” she says. “They even took off the completed stairs and completely redid them because it was ‘a little off’ the first time. I can’t say enough about their attention to detail—truly a wonderful company to work with.”

House & Home Magazine spoke with the owner of Deck Craft Plus, LLC about the creation of this project, and how it is transformative to an outdoor living area.

“The Steigelmann project was an allaround outdoor living deck with a roof and a nice stone fireplace, hardscape patio, and some landscaping,” he begins.

What techniques were used to ensure superior craftsmanship during this project?

“These guys go out and do it every day, and they do it well. This is all we do: outdoor living. Over the years, we shift and adapt to

better techniques. If there’s something that comes out—either in product or build technique that we learn about and we feel is better than what we’re doing—we usually go to the one we feel is better to ensure the customer has the best project.”

What did the client customizations on this project entail?

“There’s a stone fireplace, which is definitely a nice touch, and then a hideaway screen/privacy fence for privacy.”

Deck Craft Plus, LLC recently completed another unique project—what was that like?

“That was a very, very unique job. The first design for that one had literally no straight portions or sides to the job at all. One side ended up having a little straight section to it. But almost everything on that job is radius. There was a lot of decking-heat bending. We have a heating system that we use to heat the decking and bend it. The rails needed to be bent as well to match the radiuses.”

after installation. A client can start enjoying their kitchen straightaway.

Paint-grade finishes include two coats of sealer and a topcoat. Stain grade finishes are the same, except they start with the stain application.

Of course, while Sunny Cove Cabinetry will never sacrifice quality materials and craftsmanship, there are things that do change in cabinetry over the years, and Glick makes sure to stay on top of trends, too—without losing sight of the features that stand the test of time.

TRENDS AND MAINSTAYS

“Stain is coming back, especially with centerpieces,” Glick says.

Built to Last

WSunny Cove Cabinetry owner Aaron Glick for their new kitchen, it’s an investment in quality craftsmanship that is as beautiful as it is durable.

The Chester County woodworker started his Amish custom cabinet company in 2016 out of a desire to bring quality custom cabinets to the region, and the reputation he has built for himself over the past near-decade has proven that he is doing just that.

Quality cabinetry can anchor a kitchen and pull the whole space together, so having beautiful cabinets should be a nobrainer; however, there are still those people who opt for stock cabinets, sacrificing not only the beauty of custom work, but also the longevity.

“Anybody can put in cabinets that look good, but what about in five, 10 years?” Glick says. “I want to walk away from that kitchen and know it’s going to last for the homeowner.”

Glick even sees this mistake with brandnew homes, not just in kitchen remodels.

“I try to put myself in the homeowner’s shoes and picture what they’re going to see down the road,” Glick says. “Why would you get a custom home builder to build your house for you, and then … buy stock cabinets?”

Long-lasting quality is not the only guarantee when working with Sunny Cove Cabinetry. Glick also prides himself on best utilizing the available space, ensuring customers have plenty of functional cabinetry at their disposal.

ONLY THE BEST METHODS AND MATERIALS

Sunny Cove Cabinetry uses a personalized approach with all clients, ensuring they will end up with the perfect cabinets in their kitchen. The company also uses the best in materials which, paired with its precision to detail, guarantees a beautiful product that will last.

The process starts with Glick visiting a home to take measurements and speak with the homeowners to get a sense of what they’re envisioning. A design is then presented that can be adjusted according to the homeowners’ preferences, and then a final detailed design is done. Once the design is locked in, Glick and his team start creating each cabinet by hand.

When it comes to painting or staining cabinets, finishing processes use water-based finishes low in volatile organic compounds, making it a great choice for not only the environment, but also your nose. These finishes are highly durable and do not smell strong, meaning there are no overwhelming paint fumes for the first weeks

A centerpiece may be a kitchen island, he continues, and as far as stain colors, he’s seeing a wide range. Staining the solid wood pieces brings warmth and natural beauty to the overall design, which can add a nice balance to painted cabinets and appliances.

When it comes to those painted cabinets, bold, solid colors are in high demand, and Glick sees a lot of requests for greens and blues. White has long been a popular choice, however, and Glick still has many clients making this bright, crisp request.

“White would still be the biggest demand right now,” he says.

Glick’s years of experience have also earned him the ability to add a little extra in his kitchen work, such as always installing a sink mat in sink cabinets to ensure the wood isn’t damaged in the event of a dripping faucet.

“That’s my standard,” he says.

MOVING FORWARD

Sunny Cove Cabinetry works with both individual homeowners and large-scale builders, and Glick prides himself on approaching each customer with honesty and integrity, which has earned him a top reputation in the field. He is there to bring a client’s cabinetry vision to life, and also to help guide those clients who may not be totally certain in what they want.

Building strong relationships with clients is the best way to ensure satisfaction in the end product, and getting the ball rolling couldn’t be easier. Clients just need to give Glick a call.

“Reach out to me,” he says, “and I’ll come right out.”

Whether hosting an event, creating memories with family or enjoying a personal retreat, an outdoor living space focused on entertainment is a go-to crowd-pleaser. by Carly Murray

AS THE SUMMER HEAT COOLS, AN ENTERTAINING OUTDOOR LIVING SPACE CAN BE THE ULTIMATE PLACE TO GATHER WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY, OR TO EXPERIENCE A SOLO GETAWAY IN YOUR OWN BACKYARD.

The key to peak enjoyment is to personalize features to the household and the intended purpose. For kids, a playground can be the centerpiece for hosting their friends or throwing birthday parties. Alternatively, a pool, a bar, a fire pit and television screens may better match the residents’ lifestyle and ideal setting. It’s all about the vision, and there are several options in home renovation to make that vision come to life.

A unique concept can often surprise homeowners in its feasibility until they find the right professionals and products. As the industry grows more every year, there are myriad possibilities to make an outdoor living space both amusing and aesthetically appealing.

Despite the summer nearing its end, there are plenty of features that can be set up and enjoyed in one day. Kristi Reading, managing partner at The Buxton Complex, explains that finishing touches like outdoor furniture sets, firepits and innovative outdoor kitchen features are available for instore purchase—and many can be ordered in custom colors. Additionally, there

are different options to customize the features to a household’s lifestyle.

“Our poly outdoor furniture features smooth surfaces and [are] maintenance-free products, which protect from splinters in wood outdoor furniture, making it the best choice for children. The Sunbrella fabric used on the outdoor sofas is high quality to resist tearing and staining, which is great for the pets that love to lounge around,” Reading says. “The Big Green Egg [grill’s] advanced ceramic was partially developed using technology from NASA, and each unit is crafted in North America under the strictest quality standards. … The Egg’s superior insulation not only ensures precise temperature control and the ability to withstand extreme heat, but also keeps the exterior cooler to the touch— adding an extra layer of safety by reducing the risk of burns if accidentally touched.”

Reading also recommends the Gozney Tread, which is a pizza oven designed for heightened portability. Grilling is still essential, but there are currently so many other appliances to cook, fry, bake, roast and smoke as well.

Food is at the heart of entertaining, and the cook can continue to mingle with guests instead of remaining stuck indoors until the food is ready. While certain features can heighten the safety of children nearby, it is

always best to provide them with a distraction.

“Swing sets and playhouses are also up [in popularity] in the last several years. People are discovering that it’s necessary to get out. If you give children a good swing set to play on and a little bit of encouragement, they love going out; plan on that. So, those options are almost unlimited,” says Dan Stoltzfus, owner of Country Tyme Sheds. “You can get a smaller set, but a smaller set will get used a lot less. Now, something that’s a little bigger, a little more complex and maybe a vinyl set that’ll last for years and years [will get used more].”

“There’s a model for everybody. They go from something very basic, [like] a little port, a couple swings and a slide, to what [Rainbow Play Systems] calls their Metropolis, which is a $100,000 swing set that looks like a small city with tons of different slides and bridges, all sorts of different levels and platforms, and clubhouses and play ports,” adds Braun Kiess, owner of Pleasant Run Structures.

Playgrounds encourage activity and imagination, and when paired with a pool—the possibilities are endless. Although playing outside is supposed to limit screen time, bringing the screen outside adds an extra incentive for both children and adults. Often, a television is the center of an event, such as watching a pool-

side Eagles game or hosting an award-show screening party.

Placing an outdoor television requires some extra steps and planning to ensure its longevity and protect it from the elements. Motorized TV Cabinets offers innovative, portable cabinets to hold televisions of any size. Owner Carlos Betancourth explains that the cabinets can be customized by color, and many customers opt to add on a built-in electric fireplace.

“The fireplace is very popular right now. That’s something new that we just started last month, and it’s been taking up some traction,” he says. “The only other add-ons that we offer at the moment would be stabilizing bars that you could have bolted onto the front and back. That is especially useful for people who live somewhere where it might be a little windy, or people who are on rooftops. We deliver a lot to rooftops or to people who are on the Shore.”

Stabilizing bars and side handles are ideal for children who may pull on the cabinet, and they are built to be both functional and decorative. There are also custom-made waterproof covers to

protect from sunlight, wind and precipitation. As for placement, there are numerous choices.

“The beautiful part of this cabinet— and the reason why people are usually driven to find us is—it is on wheels, you could place it wherever you want. So, I have it in front of my sofas, and then, if I want to go in a hot tub 30 feet away, I

could wheel it over to the hot tub, and watch a movie or a game, and when I’m done, I wheel it back. Or, I could wheel it by the pool,” says Betancourth. “With a cabinet, you could completely change your whole setup on your patio whenever you want, because all you’re doing is wheeling it from one end to the other.”

When placing a TV, consider optimiz-

ing visibility despite the sun, and implement separate speakers to best hear audio.

Another option is to combine structures to maximize space. With everything that goes into both creating and utilizing an outdoor living space, it’s always practical to consider a space for storage. Stoltzfus notes that storage structures, pool houses and sheds can conveniently function as walls for other features.

“We have a really popular [structure] that has a really pretty shed, and then on the other end of it, there’s this pavilion. And it’s probably your most cost-efficient outdoor roof space [option],” he says. “It’s very efficient and it’s very good. And, you have that backdrop on the side of the shed to hang your TV on, and a wall to put things on. Sometimes you can get them with or without a bar, sometimes they’ll do a partial bar and sometimes they’ll do a full wraparound bar.”

Structures traditionally intended for storage can be used for other purposes, and with some creativity, there is truly no limit. Think of it as an additional, outdoor room; for crafting, as a workshop, a changing area to accompany a pool and more.

“Pool houses are great spaces, because you can have a bar area, and you’ll have a counter for people to sit and relax,” says Kiess. ”Our pavilions [are also popular for entertaining]. Pavilions are a roof structure with no sides and provide a nice designated area. A lot of times, people put ceiling fans in them. We’ve had folks that’ll actually have outdoor fireplaces built adjacent to them. Underneath the roof, they’ll set up a living area. So, it creates a really nice outdoor liv-

ing space that could be fairly big.”

These spaces will extend hosting and gathering opportunities into autumn, especially those that incorporate cooking or the warmth of an outdoor fire to roast marshmallows. Even if it becomes too cold to go in the pool, an outdoor living space inspired by entertainment will be filled with alternatives.

“Whether you are entertaining friends, family or a backyard birthday party for your kids, we have the best solutions for you,” affirms Reading. “From fire dining tables that give the best ambience … [or] lounging around on an outdoor sofa with your kids watching the stars in the night sky, cooking the best meal on The Big Green Egg, [or] kids running around pretending they are navigating a pirate ship on a swing set; there is a great option for every family, big or small.”

WARRANTIES, FINANCING AND DELIVERY

K & A stocks appliances—refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, ranges, ovens, washers, dryers and microwaves—from well-known, reputable brands, including Frigidaire, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Maytag, Amana and many more. Most appliances sold at K & A come with manufacturer warranties, which mirror their regular warranty coverage except for cosmetic. If a manufacturer warranty is not available, K & A provides its own coverage.

Appliance first opened its doors in 1976, and over the past nearly 50 years it has grown to establish itself as a premier family-owned business in the Lancaster County region.

That growth and success is in large part due to the efforts of current owner Amauris Sanchez, who took over the business in 2001. At the time, the company strictly sold used appliances—but Sanchez quickly discovered the profit margin wasn’t viable for that type of business.

“From there we moved to scratch and dent appliances,” he says.

A scratch and dent appliance is brand new, but may have a cosmetic imperfection preventing it from being sold through a typical dealership. Those appliances end up back at distribution centers, and from there, they go to K & A.

“We can clear those centers at reduced pricing,” General Manager Pete Todd explains, “and then K & A can provide those savings to our local community.”

A GROWING BUSINESS

The change to selling scratch and dent appliances proved lucrative for K & A, and the company began to grow. In 2001, there were two employees, and today there are 38. The Lancaster showroom also grew in size, and a second showroom opened in Exton this past April.

“We wanted to replicate the success of the retail side of our business,” Todd says of the Exton expansion. “We’re a pillar of the community in Lancaster County, and we wanted to bring that to neighboring counties so we could expand that successful customer base and be able to help homeowners in need of more affordable options.”

The company focuses on not only retail sales, but also wholesale distribution and service.

“We have retail for the local community, and we do wholesale across the nation,” Todd says. “Our growth and longevity are due to having great relations with manufacturers and also with our long-term customers, many of whom refer to K & A as their go-to source for all appliance needs. We have a lot of property managers, property management companies and landlords who just see the value in not only our service, but also our pricing.”

Offering this warranty pairs well with the service side of the company. “I think people prefer when a company has its own service team,” Sanchez says.

K & A Appliance and its certified technicians are ranked No. 1 in professional repair Lancaster County. Service is offered for appliance or parts purchased at the business over the past two years.

“And it’s not only service—we also do our own retail and wholesale delivery,” Sanchez adds.

For retail customers, many choose to take their appliance the day of purchase. For those who don’t have transportation, local delivery is free. Many items include free installation, and there is free appliance removal included as well, with responsible and environmentally safe disposal.

For those in sudden need of replacing an essential appliance in their home, K & A has financing options available if needed.

Additionally, K & A “appreciates local heroes,” Todd says, and are happy to provide first responders, veterans, current military, teachers and nurses with additional savings whenever possible.

CUSTOMER APPRECIATION

Going that extra mile for the customer and building up community relations is a nobrainer for the K & A team and it’s key to the company’s success.

“The community has been good to us,” Todd says. “We value the integrity of the company in treating customers respectfully and well while providing quality service and products at a savings.”

MOST 13-YEAR-OLD BOYS HAVE PLENTY OF DISTRACTIONS TO KEEP THEM OCCUPIED OTHER THAN THINKING ABOUT THEIR FUTURE CAREERS. While Sam King readily admits that he was not above some of those trappings, at the same time he also displayed a dogged work ethic and a passion for construction, even at a young age.

In fact, by his early teens he was already employed by a shop near his Pennsylvania home as a cupola builder. At 16, he joined a general contracting firm led by local builder Norman Graham and took his skills up another notch. Before long, he knew he had found the field that was right for him.

“My dad was a carpenter and he worked for Graham’s, and I just had a big interest in it from when I was young,” King says. “I’m thankful for the upbringing that I had, for sure.”

King mentored under Graham for 11 years before deciding to branch out on his own. In 1999, he founded Beechdale Builders, a company that today specializes in constructing brand-new custom homes, creating additions for existing houses and renovating kitchens, bathrooms and basements.

His goal from the beginning was to utilize the knowledge and skills he had accumulated in his previous stops, while giving customers the stress-free experience they deserve when making a substantial investment and undergoing a major project in their homes.

“We try to be straightforward and honest with everybody,” King says. “We go the extra mile to help them achieve their look and give them what they want.”

That is especially true when it comes to custom homes, which are like a blank canvas for King and his team, including his designer/architect. Beechdale Builders works in a wide variety of styles and can usually complete a new house within six to eight

A True Calling

months, or a little longer for larger homes. King understands the anxiety that customers are feeling during the process, but he is in constant communication and keeps them up to date on the progress.

“If they have the land, we can help them get the house that they want,” he says. “We will help make their dream come true, whatever they’re interested in. I recently estimated a project for $200,000, which is a small rancher, but we’re also working on a $1.5 million house right now as well. I try not to count anyone out.”

When it comes to additions, Beechdale Builders time and again rises to the challenge of providing a space that is functional, aesthetically pleasing and looks like a natural extension of the home.

“When you have someone who loves their location and doesn’t want to move, they’d rather spend some money and make the house more like they want it instead of going out and buying a new home,” King says. “We

have all of the resources they need to do the planning and get started. They might just be looking for more living space, or a new master bedroom and suite area is also quite popular at the moment.”

Remodels make up a large portion of Beechdale’s business, with kitchens and bathrooms being the primary rooms in need of a makeover. In kitchens, it’s common to remove a wall and open up the space, and Beechdale’s designers and crews can handle everything from cabinetry and countertops to flooring and appliances.

“You can really upgrade a house with a kitchen renovation,” King says. “Even though you’re going to spend $80,000 to $120,000, it also adds to the value of the house.”

With Beechdale offering all of those services and having a well-earned reputation for finishing projects on time and on budget, it’s no surprise that the company is busy throughout the year. King is happy to have crews he can depend on—several employees have been with him for more than 20 years— including project manager Matt Graham, who oversees each job with a fine attention to detail. The grandson of Norman Graham, he already had a strong relationship with King and has been a welcome addition to the team since joining in 2020.

With that support behind him and grateful customers who appreciate his work, it’s no wonder that King is proud of what he has built at Beechdale and the career he first embraced back in his teenage years.

“I love it now more than I ever did,” he says. “It really helped bringing Matt on, because that has allowed me to focus on growing the business. Before, it would wear me out trying to line up new jobs while keeping the ones we already had running smoothly. Now, I can focus on the new jobs and Matt oversees the ongoing projects. That makes it enjoyable.”

Closet Factory is in the business of building a better quality of life for its clients. “It’s a fun purchase with us,” Charles Palko says. “People do dream about what kind of closet they’re going to get.”

The Palko family are the owners of the Closet Factory franchise serving the Delaware Valley— covering Ocean County down to Cape May County in New Jersey, Philadelphia and its surrounding four counties, and the state of Delaware. The company prides itself on catering to its clients, whether they’re working on a $2,000 job or a $120,000 job.

“We go from simple to spectacular, and our spectacular is really spectacular,” Palko affirms.

In addition to custom closets, Closet Factory also designs and installs wall beds, entertainment centers and organizational units for other areas of the home and Palko assures that no matter the project, it will be done to the client’s specifications, and it will be done well.

“Because of our 45 years of experience in architectural woodwork, we are well above what is considered industry standard when it comes to how we manufacture our products,” he says. “The quality, hands down, is better at Closet Factory.”

ORGANIZATION, AESTHETICS AND BUDGET

There are three buckets a customer requires, according to Palko. First is ensuring the project meets all of the client’s organizational needs. Second is building a closet that is aesthetically pleasing. And third is succeeding in doing both of these things within the customer’s budget.

“We make sure from an organizational point of view that there’s enough room for all of their handbags, all of their shoes, their long hang, their short hang. We make sure we cover all the bases,” Palko explains.

As far as aesthetics, Closet Factory designers can put together everything from simple, streamlined plans to extravagant designs with all the bells and whistles.

“Aesthetics has a lot to do with the end price, and we work with the client on what their budget is. We work around that number, so we maximize organization and aesthetics to that budget,” Palko says. “We don’t want to overdesign it and we don’t want to under design it.”

TRAINING AND TECHNOLOGY

Closet Factory designers go through “constant training,” according to Palko. The initial training is three intense weeks, and there is follow-up education as they work their way up to more intricate and expensive designs.

Closet Factory also utilizes a CAD (Computer-Aided Design) program to build its designs, which enables clients to see their project not only in 2D, but in a full 3D rendering in their home. The accuracy is so advanced that it transfers the project to the company’s computerized machinery

Quality for a Lifetime

to be able to individually cut each part of the project.

“Everything starts from flat wood and it’s cut exactly as it’s designed on the CAD program,” Palko says. “Our shop is the most sophisticated in Closet Factory’s franchise network, so our customers are getting the benefit of having the best equipment and the most experienced people working on their project.”

Closet Factory manufactures everything on site except for hardware. Doors, drawers, even glass—it’s all cut and manufactured in-house, and computer-generated to exact specifications resulting in one of the best yields in the industry.

“We’re in control of what happens with the client experience,” Palko says.

While industry standard is to finish a job about 85% of the time—meaning, for instance,

a two-day job won’t be finished in two days 15% of the time—at Closet Factory, they’re at 97%.

“And we’re not accepting the 3%,” Palko adds. “We’re finding out who and how we didn’t get those projects done on time.”

ORGANIZATION FOR A LIFETIME

Many companies offer lifetime warranties, but what’s different with Closet Factory’s lifetime warranty is that it’s transferable to a new homeowner.

“Our products are built for life,” Palko says, “and we back them for life.”

This, paired with the company’s one year, no-interest financing, makes investing in home organization to meet every day needs an easy choice—and a choice that has grown in popularity over the years.

Twenty-five years ago, clients were focused on beautiful kitchens and master bathrooms when buying or building a home. Today, they still are, but they also want home organization that fits their needs.

“That’s what the customer wants today. Customers want a great kitchen, a great master bath and a great walk-in closet,” Palko says.

And according to him, there’s no better way to ensure a customer is getting the organization and closets that fit their need than by giving them a say in the process. The Closet Factory team sits down with a new client from the very inception of a project, involving them every step of the way.

“From a clean slate all the way up to completion, the customer has input. We’re coming up with this beautiful design that the customer actually has ownership of,” Palko says. “We’re not designing our dream closet, we’re designing the customer’s dream closet.”

SAAA Hellenic

TONE MATERIALS ARE ESSENTIALLY THE ICING OF ANY KITCHEN OR BATHROOM PROJECT, PROVIDING BOTH THE FUNCTIONAL VALUE OF PULLING THE ROOM’S COMPONENTS TOGETHER AND SOMETHING PLEASING FOR THE EYE.

Choosing the perfect stone takes careful consideration, and the guidance of someone who knows the product. At AAA Hellenic, customers can turn to professionals who have decades of experience designing and installing stone in kitchens, bathrooms, foyers, fireplaces and even in outdoor living spaces. Mike Werner, sales manager, is one such expert who has been with the family-focused company for more than 10 years.

House & Home spoke with Werner about how new products from Silestone and Dekton are giving people the high-end looks they’ve wanted at a more reasonable price.

WHEN YOU MEET WITH CLIENTS, WHAT ARE SOME THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THEIR LIFESTYLE TO GUIDE THEIR SELECTION?

Most individuals typically have saved pictures they found online or in magazines to establish an idea of their design preferences. We also want to know about what’s going on in the space where the stone will be used. Every household is different. Materials they might like or find attractive might not be the best choice for their home. Granite is very dense and durable. It is heat resistant and scratch resistant, with minimal maintenance. Marble

is a classic choice with unrivaled beauty and gives you a timeless look. It may be a little softer than granite, but will still give you a very durable surface.

CAN YOU TALK ABOUT THE EMERGING POPULARITY OF NATURAL STONE QUARTZITE AND YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF IT?

Engineered quartz has gained popularity over the past couple of years, but natural stone is still the most requested for its beauty and durability. Natural stone quartzite is an especially good choice for kitchens. Everyone likes the look of marble, but it’s softer and more porous. Quartzite is a dense stone that can handle the impact and functionality in a kitchen, and it’s not as porous.

We directly import this stone from the quarries to our facility, which enables us to

pass discounted pricing on to clients for rare quartzites in a wide variety of colors. The materials are temperamental and require a high level of care and precision, which Hellenic excels and specializes in.

WHAT ARE THE NEWEST MATERIALS ON THE MARKET AND WHERE ARE THEY BEST USED IN THE HOME?

We’re really excited about the design potential with products from Silestone and Dekton in shower wall and bathroom applications. People have been longing for a solid-slab, seamless look on their shower walls—nobody likes grout joints—but this comes with additional labor to get these large slabs into tight shower spaces. These new products are more durable and thinner, making them easier to transport and install. Silestone is engineered quartz and in particular has some nice combinations of natural stone-looking materials, as well as muted patterns for the monochromatic look people want. Dekton is a porcelain and glass hybrid with quartz that is more durable and still gives that desirable natural stone look. This is something that we are specializing in.

HOW CAN CUSTOMERS ARRANGE TO VISIT YOUR SLAB YARD TO SEE THEIR OPTIONS?

Our slab yard is open by appointment so we can control the amount of people in the building at a time, everything is spaced out and we also have outdoor inventory available weather permitting. We have implemented additional safety measures, including UV light systems and UV air purifiers to reduce airborne contaminants and provide more peace of mind for customers. We also offer virtual appointments.

Our inventory of marble, granite, soapstone and quartzite is very strong right now, we’ve added a lot of new products for people. We have about 200 different colors on display, and our stones are directly imported from places like Italy, Brazil and Africa. It’s always beneficial to walk through and see the stone in different lighting, and more often than not, people find something they never expected.
