2016-2017 ANNUAL REPORT

Dear Friends,

As we continue in this new fiscal year we want to take a look back on 2017. It was another year of accomplishments that we could not have managed without your support. Each donor, in every capacity, has made an impact on our work and on the lives of those affected by domestic violence. This is our way to show you exactly how you have helped and say, “thank you,” for your continued support.

The numbers reflected in the report show the impact and the need for our work. Although you may not get to see it first-hand, we hope through these numbers you are able to see how many survivors can now live a life free from abuse and are able to thrive and live a prosperous life. We will continue to grow and expand our services as long as we are needed so that someday, the cycle of domestic violence will no longer exist.

The beginning of 2018 marks a pinnacle year for Hope House as we recognize 35 years of service provided to survivors of domestic violence. Looking back on how far we have come since 1983, is truly amazing. That first night Hope House was open we provided a safe place for 15 women and children and now we are serving over 4,000 women, men and children annually, not only with shelter but with comprehensive outreach programming.

We have been able to accomplish so much because of YOU, our dedicated supporters who by believing in our mission, are helping us to one day at a time break the cycle of domestic violence. As we continue forward, your support will give our survivors a peace of mind that they can live a life free of abuse and Hope House is here to assist with their journey.

Thank you,
