he building is a dome shape with corrosion resistant material. It has a stable structure, its internal temperature can be stored for a long time. Original function of this building was to store the rock salt for Glasgow’s winter gritting. The combination of humidity and cold temperatures produced crystals in space similar to those found in polar volcanic caves.
