This book records my research process development of exploring previous people's imaginations of future housing cases.
RESEARCH
People in the past did not live in conditions like today,(a social media age), Their works are very personality and innovative. So I think collecting previous people's imaginations of future housing will be helpful for this future housing project.
PROCESS II: THEORETICAL MATERIAL
From my research, with a rapidly changing world, and new technologies that appear every day, today's development of technology may over-saturated. Many experts predicted that retro-style interior is a trend in the future.

8 Some of these absurd and magical images inspired me a lot. For exam ple the image showing in figure 1, the resident just lying on the bed and do anything by the pulley system. MOTIVATIONSTYLEFLEXIBLY
In the 1936's imagination, chequered floors and pale wallpaper formed the interior features, and a system of pulleys was used to control the layout.

The setting takes place after World War II, when the animation shows that people’s imag ination of the futures has gradually changed from manual direction to the use of machines to facilitate people’s life.

Intelligent technology is more developed. The thoughts and emotions that author wanted to present in the contect of the film is the dystopian society in which science and technology are highly developed, but humanistic care tends to disappear. In this world, the machines created by humans prove the existence of human na ture in a self-destructive way.

Mobile app development solves people’s diverse needs, brings more convenience to people. So I think this idea is worth taking as a reference. By 2050, residents will be able to control the layout of their homes via moblile phones.

IN According to the development of The Times and people’s imagination, future housing tends to develop digitally. Technology will also bring negative effects to people because it is exploited and information is invaded.
William Heath Robinson’s work impressed me the most with his personal style. The works of this period are also the ones farthest away from our media society. So I will take his work as a theoretical basis to make my further exploration.
