T O SEE PEOPLE TRANSFORMED BY THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST
They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.
ISAIAH 61:3
Dear Grove Family,
On average, 21 new neighbors move into town each day1.
In fact, Georgetown is the fastest growing city in the U.S.1, Leander is ranked fourth, and while Liberty Hill doesn’t qualify for this same census of large cities, we see the same exponential growth with every new neighborhood that’s being built.
As our neighborhoods continue to explode with growth, so does our church.
Since opening the doors of our current building in 2022, we’ve grown over 100%. What God began in a living room, moved to a small chapel and grew in a school, has brought us where we are today.
We believe God has strategically planted The Grove in the heart of our growing community, to welcome our neighbors into the best community — God’s family.
Over the next seven years, we’re committed to:
• Establishing Neighborhood Communities in every neighborhood within ten miles of The Grove. (pg. 14)
• Planting healthy churches locally and globally, through Known. (pg. 10)
• Beginning the next building phase of our current campus. (pg. 12)
Now is the time to live as faithful disciples who make disciples — committed to BLESSing our neighbors and bringing the gospel to those who aren’t yet walking with the Lord.
And now is the time for us to build the next phase of our campus in order to meet current needs and prepare for future growth, expanding our capacity to welcome those who will come to faith.
Join us by prayerfully partnering with The Grove as we steward this gospel opportunity — to bring people into fellowship with Jesus and His Church, from our neighborhoods to the ends of the earth.
Until all have heard,

Scott Heider Lead PastorAS DISCIPLES OUR AIM IS TO GLORIFY GOD WITH OUR WHOLE LIFE
To exalt the Lord means to recognize that He is higher, greater and more glorious than anything in the universe. It means to worship Him exclusively - honoring Him by submitting to His authority, believing His promises and keeping His commands.
“Exalt the Lord our God; worship at His footstool! Holy is He!”
—Psalm 99:5
We are committed to exalting the Lord by taking up our cross and following Him as faithful disciples of Jesus. We believe an exalted view of God produces a strong and abiding faith that is marked by whole life worship of Him in thought, word and deed.
Our hope is that we would “be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.” (Isaiah 61:3)
WE ARE COMMITTED TO EQUIPPING THE CHURCH FOR MINISTRY
Jesus has called His disciples to the greatest work we could ever give our lives to.
“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’”
—Matthew 28:18-20
This work will deepen our faith and produce the richest of friendships, all the while witnessing the transforming power of the gospel from our neighborhoods to the ends of the earth. The Grove is committed to equip every person in our church family to become a disciple who multiplies, joining Jesus in His mission to redeem the world.
BRING THE GOOD NEWS OF THE KINGDOM WHERE IT’S NEEDED MOST
Our hope is to see people transformed by the Good News of Jesus, but the reality is there are many people who don’t know Jesus and have no one in their life sharing the gospel with them.
“How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent?“
—Romans 10:14-15
The Grove is committed to engaging our neighbors by loving them as Christ has loved us. We’re taking responsibility for our neighborhoods and the lost in our community. We believe it’s our responsibility to make Christ known with the hope of making disciples for the display of His splendor.
God is building His church now. And when God builds His church it doesn’t go up or in — it goes out. As His church we’ve been empowered by the Holy Spirit to love people from our neighborhoods to the ends of the earth.
This love is rooted in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus — the "going out" is our response to what He's done for us.
It’s a response of gratitude and love for Him that leads us to love our neighbors.

A name now synonymous with soup, Colleen shares how her determination to show up for others was born out of her own journey of finding community.
"When my children were small, I was a desperate mom because I had no community. I knew that I needed help and ended up getting into MOPS, and that was the gateway into Bible study — which was even better."
Surrounded by a small community of women committed to reading God's Word, Colleen began to fall in love.
"The more I read and learned about Jesus, the more I fell in love with Him and wanted to be surrendered to Him."
Ten years later, the Bolin's moved back to their roots, "Texas brought us back to Texas."
Without warning, Colleen's need for community quickly became more apparent than ever.
"Two years after we moved, I had a diagnosis that was potentially life-threatening. It definitely grew me closer to the Lord — I would say it was the most bonding time with Him."
And then, it happened.
Strangers started signing-up.
And one meal at a time, Colleen remembers the shift.
"I had always made meals for people before but not if I didn’t know the person. When I was recovering, strangers signed up — which had never even occurred to me — and I was blown away."
From that moment on Colleen was hooked. "Ever since then, it doesn’t matter who the person is, I sign up to bring a meal."
And now? What began with strangers showing up has grown into a freezer full of hospitality.
“I like to call it my ‘soup ministry freezer’ — it’s a fun way to have meals ready to share with people who are in need.”
YOU CAN BE A BLESSING TOO!
Take a look at these five simple ways to BLESS your neighbor.
If our hope is to see our neighbors come to know Jesus, we must become faithful disciples committed to BLESSing.
How would mission look different if we recognized that God is already at work?
What would happen if we really listened to local leaders? And what if — just like in our neighborhoods — we equipped faithful disciples whom God then used to love their unreached neighbors?
In 2022, Known was born out of The Grove's commitment to equip local leaders who grow healthy, multiplying churches — without getting in their way.
Today, Known partners with six locally-led ministries who have planted seven churches throughout Sudan, South Sudan and Uganda.
Serving women and youth displaced by decades of war, Yenet is a locally-led, South Sudanese ministry partnering with Known.
an uncertain future that accompanies war. And yet, it is in the midst of hardship that the Mansuks' see Jesus transforming lives among their South Sudanese brothers and sisters.
“I was born in war, raised in war and experienced war,” shares Milton. “My relationship with Jesus Christ gave me the power to overcome all the challenges I was going through, and that’s the same feeling I have for other South Sudanese. Jesus gave me hope and now is an opportunity for me to share that hope.”
This is the heartbeat of Yenet — to raise a generation of hope, providing women and youth with opportunities to know Jesus and become the leaders South Sudan needs.
“Through Yenet, women will get to understand that pain, struggles and the suffering of now are temporary; they're not the end of life. There is always a way out,” Scovia shares.
The hope of Yenet is to share the truth of peace found in Christ – perfect peace that restores hope.

And that way out is Jesus Christ.
This is the heart of The Grove: to respond to God’s love by being disciples who make disciples.

As God continues to grow our church, we need to steward what He’s given us so that we can gather, equip and send out more disciples.

That's all it takes for our church to not just reach, but surpass sharing 100,000 meals with our neighbors over seven years. Now why would we do this? Because God has commanded us to love our neighbors — and we all need to eat!
There’s nothing better than friends who encourage one another in the Lord, except when those friends are also united in loving their neighbors. You don’t live on your street by chance. God has a greater purpose for you — to be the church right where you live. Plus, you’ll love the commute!
Every church today was “planted” at one point in time. Church plants are the most effective means of reaching people who don’t know Jesus. Why is that? It’s simple: it’s their whole purpose. That’s why we’re committed to sending out teams to plant locally, as well as partnering to plant internationally through Known.
