The excitement of American Supercross kicked o its season with a historic moment courtesy of Jett Lawrence and the o cial HRC team. The highly anticipated season opener saw Lawrence clinch the main event, becoming the first rookie to do so in his debut. At just 20 years old, this Aussie has quickly risen through the ranks, impressing everyone with his speed, style, and grit.

RICKY BRABEC AND THE CRF450 RALLY CONQUER DAKAR 2024

PREVIOUSLY WON DAKAR IN 2020

After two weeks of grueling competition and 7,670 kilometers across challenging landscapes of Saudi Arabia, Ricky Brabec, of the Monster Energy Honda team, clinched his second crown at the great Dakar Rally. This victory marks a milestone for Brabec, who had already made history in 2020 as the first American ever to win in the motorcycle category. Now, four years later, he reigns again in the 46th edition of this legendary race.

THE NEW CRF450 RALLY DEBUTED WITH VICTORY

Since the beginning of the Dakar Rally in 1979, Honda has left its mark on the competition, with notable victories like those of Cyril Neveu and Edi Orioli. Brabec led Honda back to the top in 2020 with the CRF450 RALLY, and this year marks a new achievement with the debut of the latest generation of this machine.

A native of Southern California and a desert racing expert, Brabec has accumulated titles in events like the SCORE Baja 1000 and AMA Hare & Hound national championships. His journey led him to the Monster Energy Honda team in 2015, and after four attempts at Dakar, he clinched victory in his fifth participation.

This victory is more than an individual triumph; it's a testament to the team spirit and determination of Honda in o -road racing. Brabec and his team now gear up for the next stop on the world tour, the BP Ultimate Rally-Raid in Portugal, where they will continue to push the limits and seek new victories with our brand's winning quality by their side.

HONDA E CLUTCH

Once again, our brand has made a groundbreaking stride. Leading the charge in technological development, Honda has introduced the E-Clutch as a revolutionary feature set to debut in selected models starting in 2024, opening up a whole new aspect of the motorcycling experience for riders of all kinds and levels.

In operation, the Honda E-Clutch is remarkably straightforward, eliminating the need to use the clutch lever for shifting gears up or down. The rider simply needs to actuate the shift pedal for ultra-fast and consistent gear changes, enhancing the thrill of sporty riding. The clutch lever is also unnecessary when starting or coming to a stop. Activating as soon as the engine ignites, the system smoothly manages both scenarios, while eliminating the possibility of engine stalling during operation, providing added comfort and peace of mind for urban riding involving frequent stops and starts.

Beyond fun and convenience, the E-Clutch system o ers ultimate flexibility. If desired, the rider can operate the clutch lever as usual at any time. When the clutch lever is used, the Honda E-Clutch system reactivates after less than a second above a certain engine rpm; after 5 seconds at lower engine speeds. If the rider wishes to deactivate the system for a particular ride, this is also possible via the switchgear on the left handlebar. The switch to manual operation is indicated by the letter 'M' on the instrument panel.

The Honda E-Clutch also allows the rider to select an 'operation feel' to adjust the force required on the shift pedal for gear changes. Three settings are available: HARD, MEDIUM, and SOFT, each of which can be chosen independently for upshifting and downshifting. The technology will also advise the rider to downshift, via a symbol on the instrument panel, if it detects that the motorcycle is in a high gear at a certain speed.

The Honda E-Clutch manages clutch engagement and disengagement based on its reading of a multitude of parameters with astounding precision. The clutch is operated through an actuator unit with two motors situated inside the right-hand engine cover. As the clutch is engaged or disengaged, the engine's ignition timing and fuel injection are also controlled, resulting in smooth and seamless shifting in any situation.

The new Honda E-Clutch system is poised to o er riders worldwide a 'next-level' riding experience in selected models, and it's another symbol of Honda's unwavering commitment to motorcycle innovation and development, 75 years after its foundation, like no other brand in history.

TONI BOU WON IN BARCELONA

Repsol Honda Trial Team rider clinches victory in the opening round of the X-Trial World Championship season. His teammate Marcelli secures a podium finish.

The Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona set the stage for the first round of the 2024 X-Trial World Championship, where Repsol Honda Trial Team riders delivered a standout performance in front of local fans. Toni Bou secured his seventeenth victory at the venue, while his teammate Marcelli completed the podium.

The reigning world champion thrilled fans at the Palau Sant Jordi. From the first lap, Bou took the lead after accumulating just one penalty point in Zone 3, a position he maintained in the second lap. In the final, the Repsol Honda Trial Team rider faced o against Jaime Busto and Gabriel Marcelli, emerging victorious in all six zones. Marcelli continued at the same level as he finished 2023. After accumulating four penalty points in the first lap, the Repsol Honda rider secured

third place. In the second lap, the young Spaniard made a few mistakes that cost him seven penalty points, but this didn't stop him from reaching the final alongside Bou and Busto. After conquering the last six zones, Marcelli finished third.

Bou leads the overall standings with 22 points, and Marcelli sits third with 12. The next event in the X-Trial World

The moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived. In recent days, we hosted the launch of the Honda Transalp with a celebration full of excitement and anticipation. Over 220 devoted Honda enthusiasts gathered at our showroom in La Uruca to be part of this special event.

Mr. Demetrio Pérez, President of SAVA, kicked o the festivities with an electrifying speech, sharing the exciting news that the company is commemorating its 60th anniversary this year. Since its establishment in 1964, SAVA has stood as a privileged partner of Honda, a collaboration that has yielded decades of unparalleled success and achievements. Mr. Pérez underscored the shared commitment to excellence between SAVA and Honda, emphasizing their ongoing dedication to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Mr. Gilbert Porras, General Manager of SAVA, also took the stage to express his enthusiasm about the Transalp launch and extend gratitude to all attendees for their steadfast support. Furthermore, the
