Over the following 23 pages, be inspired by small homes that are full of big ideas. On the next page architectural designer Sean Cassar took a dull, characterless and cluttered space and created a super-stylish and streamlined home for a young couple, integrating storage in imaginative ways. On page 038, architect Jens Bruenslow took a mess of an apartment in an old building and made the old and new work together beautifully. On page 044 a South African apartment has a smart idea for a long space and the addition of a mezzanine level, and on page 050 ARCHI+ Architects’ Studio went bold to create a dynamic space.
