The months of November and December are infused with excitement and overflow with
festivities and events. Thanksgiving is a time of giving thanks; to focus on all that we are grateful for. Oprah Winfrey suggests an evening ritual that is extremely helpful: Keep a Journal. Every night list five things that you are grateful for. What it will begin to do is change your perspective of your day and your life. Our Grateful Five are: our readers; our advertisers; animal shelters and rescues; our writers and other contributors. We love our readers and are grateful for their support. Advertisers provide the resources for making the Las Vegas Pet Scene Magazine possible and available for “free” to our readers. And, of course, included in our list are the animal rescues and shelters. They work so hard to save the lives of many animals and to make Las Vegas a pet-friendly and a pet-safe community. We appreciate our writers and contributors as well. It takes time to research and organize their thoughts, ideas into helpful articles. If you, however, counted our Grateful Five you noticed that we only mentioned four items. Guess which item is missing? You are correct if you guessed PETS! It is “all about the pets”.
