What’s the best thing about your role at Home House?

House 21 is my baby! To me it’s the gem of Home House and offers our Members a space for every kind of mood. It’s the antidote to the busy working day - sophisticated, without taking itself too seriously. It’s hard to choose but I would say what I love most is building connections with our community and developing the team. These my two biggest loves. Watching the team build friendships with Members and seeing them flourish are always my proudest moments.

Congratulations on your 10 year anniversary... Here’s to another 10 years?

Absolutely. It’s been a wild ride and every day is completely different which I love. We have dozens of team members who have been with the club for over ten years and some for over twenty years, which I think says a lot about what a special place it is.

What’s new at House 21 for 2023?

Serving up seriously good small plates and signature cocktails alongside late-night DJs and lively members events, the menu takes inspiration from the House’s long history of welcomed international guests and the Countess of Home’s voyages across the globe. Discover fresh dishes such as the Tuna and Salmon Sashimi, California roll with salmon, avocado and caviar and stirfried bok choy. M embers and guests can enjoy an exciting line up of regular entertainment designed to evoke a sense of freedom, from our monthly Cocktail Club to Drag Bingo with Grace Shush and Live Band Karaoke. Your favourite daytime to playtime hideaway at the House, v isit for your mid-morning espresso, enjoy delicious Bento Boxes for a light lunch and settle in for dinner and dancing under the chandeliers.

We caught up with our favourite party starter and the face of House 21 about what’s new for 2023.

How did you get into the hospitality industry?

My family have always run pizzerias, trattorias and bars, so it’s in my blood. My introduction to the world of hospitality was working at my Father’s bar in Rome before going on to run it. In my spare time I would compete in freestyle bartender competitions across the world!

We’re really excited to have just opened the House Lounge and Bar for lunch during the week. It’s something we’ve been planning for a long time and makes sense, each of the spaces are perfect for working away during the day but then switching off with a cocktail. We’ve recently welcomed a new Sushi Chef and have just launched a brand new Japanese menu which our Members are loving! Chef has designed an incredible lunchtime Bento Box to bring a unique modern Japanese dining experience to the Club. This year there’s a huge focus on entertainment and performances, so we’re currently planning lots of exciting events. Watch this space!

If you had to choose one dish on the menu, what would you recommend?

My favourite dish on the menu right now is without doubt the Miso cod with stem ginger and sesame, and my favourite cocktail would have to be the classic Espresso Martini. You won’t find a better one in London!
