But listen, before we start, I really need to give you some “tough love” first….

You MUST manage YOUR expectations, or your expectations WILL manage YOU. Building a business has many moving parts – but it is still a “numbers game.”

Keep it simple and fun. Teach others how to do the same leading by example.

If (just) you contact 5 people a day (Email, text, mail, or phone) 5 days a week, you will have contacted 1,300 people in a year.

What if you had 25 people or 250 people on your team who follow your example?

You and your team would be contacting 1,000’s and even tens of 1,000’s of new prospects every year.

What could that do for your business?

Think about this: • People are not duplicatable, but systems are. If you take care of your business, your business will take care of you.

• People are not perfect, neither are these leads. Relax. Be yourself. Trust the process.

These leads are people. People who are requesting information about starting a business. They are probably requesting information from other business owners too.

They may be skeptical. They maybe closed minded. They may even be rude when you talk to them. Do not take it so seriously.

Some of the leads WILL be open minded.

Some will have great personalities. Some will be positive, outgoing entrepreneurs like you and me. Some will even make you laugh and enjoy your business more.

Here is what one customer who works our leads recently told me, “Bob, out of every 100 Leads, I get 6 appointments and 1 new shopper or new affiliate.” – Bradley Barg, Professional Networker Bradley’s incredibly good on the phone, he follows up with text messages, emails and sometimes voice mail messages.

He does not get discouraged. He just keeps plugging away! Here is an example text message he sends to leads:

It’s a fact… it’s the TRUTH. You really should craft your own messages to prospects; create your own music. But here are some examples of what you could say:

• SAMPLE VOICE MAIL MESSAGE “Hi, John this is (your name) if you have a chance, please call me back today.

It’s not urgent but it is important. Best number to reach me at is …………..”

• SAMPLE EMAIL MESSAGE Subject: John, I just left you a voice mail.

Hi John, here is the video to watch about our business that is going viral. www.YourWebsiteGoesHere.com Watch the video, write down your questions and let us talk when you are ready. You can call, email, or text me.

• SAMPLE TEXT MESSAGE “Hi John, our company is looking for leaders. If I send you a video with the highlights, will you please watch it?

Reply text if they answer “yes”:

“Here’s the video that gives you an idea how you can make money with us: www.YourWebsiteGoesHere.com I have got a Proven 90-Day Game Plan to get you to $1,000 or more per month.

Watch the video and then text me a good time to talk!”

What is next?

Get started. a.

Email them.

b.

Call them.

c.

Text them.

But more tough love…

- If you cannot see the opportunity…

- If you will not engage with possibly negative people ...

- If you get discouraged easily …

- If you cannot handle 99 possible “no’s” to get the one, big “YES” ...

- If you do not want to do this…
