Proposed Lower School Renovations Complete Campus
In the final phase of the Academy Ascending capital campaign, the Academy’s goal is to raise $2.5 million to complete the lower school and bring it in line with the rest of the Bayshore building. The Dads Club kicked off fundraising by pledging $250,000, paid over the next five years through their annual events.
In completing the first floor, the entire campus will have undergone renovation, including necessary system work to bring the building up to date. Projects include new lighting and flooring, replacing the HVAC system, reworking the existing classrooms into 21st-century learning studios, and bringing in new furnishings that are flexible and age-appropriate. As long as we hit our goal, construction for this final phase will take place in the summer of 2021. With your support, the Bayshore campus will exceed 21st-century education standards.
