Kate has worked in elementary schools for many years and currently enjoys being a school library assistant.

1984 Amy Baldwin Doherty lives in Falls

Church, Virgina with her husband, Steven, and their three sons, Shane, age 12, Steven, age 9 and Ryan, age 4.

1987 Sandy Khayat Dahl lives in Munich,

Germany. Her children are Max, age 12, Roman, age 10, Julio, age 6 and Tori Blaise, who is 20 months. Sandy reports that her sons are bilingual and attending German-speaking schools. Catherine Gouge was awarded tenure, promotion to Associate Professor of English and a sabbatical by West Virginia University. This year, she also won awards for outstanding teaching at both the college and university levels. She is looking forward to traveling to South Africa in the fall while on sabbatical.

1991 Gabriele Brunhart Tsung is working with

the UCLA Neuro-Oncology department as a nurse practitioner with their clinical trials program, blazing new trails as a telecommuter.  She is also still serving her country in the Naval Reserves as a Nurse Corps Officer and is moving to San Antonio, Texas with her husband.

her husband and six-year-old son, Noah. She is a professor in the College of Education at Towson University.

1986 Lena Al-Harthi is an Associate Professor

of Immunology/Microbiology at Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. Her research is focused on understanding HIV pathogenesis. Lena has been married for 16 years to Ted Stern and they have two little boys: Ryan, age 6 and Dean, age 4. Lena frequently visits the Washington, DC area and would love to get together with classmates. Her email is lalharth@ rush.edu. Kelly Keft and her husband have relocated back to Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. Kim has a three-year-old son named Sam and a daughter, Shannon Marie, who was born on March 3, 2009. Meaghan FitzGerald Stanley and husband, Andrew, welcomed Tyler Joseph on June 2, 2009. Meaghan and Andrew also have a daughter named Drew and a son named Fitz.

Army’s Center of Military History. Ginger oversees all historical operations for the Army as well as its 150 museums.  Ginger is living in Rockville, Maryland with her husband and fiveyear-old daughter, Abigail. Joanna SmithRamani was elected to the Steering Committee for a national non-profit called the National Community Tax Coalition.  She will focus on tax and financial service policy issues facing low-income workers. Giovanna Vidoli will begin a Fellowship at the Forensic Science Academy at the Joint POW-MIA Accounting Command- Central Identification Laboratory.  She will be trained in archaeological recovery and forensic anthropological techniques to assist in the excavation and identification of MIAs from previous wars.  The training, based in Hawaii, will include five weeks in Southeast Asia and goes from August through December.

1995 Eileen Dwyer Breeze and Peter Breeze are

thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter, Margaret (Maggie) Roisin Breeze, on July 7, 2009.  Tommy, now 3 1/2, is one proud big brother. Jodie Hollins Hillman is currently enrolled at The Center for Guided Montessori Studies to obtain a Montessori teaching certification in early childhood and elementary education. Jodie and her husband, Chris, have three kids: Addison, age 13, McKenna, age 6 and Kenadie, age 3, and they live in Mount Airy, Maryland. Nerissa Balland Montemurro owns an Event Planning & Design Company based in New York City and Washington DC. Nerissa’s company is always hiring for Public Relations and Marketing Interns. com. Monica Talcott graduated Summa Cum Laude from UMBC with a BSW (Bachelor of Social Work). Monica will be starting in the advanced standing Masters of Social Work Program at the University of Maryland in Baltimore this fall and an internship in the Neurosurgery department at the University of Maryland Medical System.

1996 Alexis Kaczensky Fabbri lives in

Washington DC with her husband, Massimo, and her maltipoo, LuLu.  Alexis is a senior consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, specializing in social media and technical writing.  She also occasionally writes features for Maryland Life magazine.  Massimo has opened his second restaurant, Posto, in Logan Circle.

1997 Michelle Burchett was accepted to Virginia

Tech’s Public Administration and Public Policy Program and will start in the fall.  She currently works for a non-profit called SPARC (Specially Adapted Resource Club) facilitating programs that serve individuals with lifelong disabilities. Marisa Van Saanen is entering her third year of law school at Yale.  She’s splitting this summer between the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom and working for a judge in New York City.  Marisa Young is engaged!  She’s getting married in May 2010. Jean Zachariasiewicz will be starting her third and final year of law school at Columbia in the fall.  This summer, she is working at Neufeld Scheck & Brustin, a civil rights firm in New York City, and she plans to apply to clerk for a judge following graduation.

1998 Kate Connor is currently completing her

residency training in pediatrics at Children’s Memorial Hospital/Northwestern University Medical Center and will be staying on as chief pediatric resident for the coming year.  She and her husband, Joe, live in Chicago. Mimi Diez is currently working for the Inter-American Development Bank as a Corporate Sustainability Coordinator. This August, Mimi and her husband celebrated their six-year wedding anniversary with their two kids, Alicia, age 4 and Carlos, age 14 months. Lesley Grabias was appointed Special Events Coordinator for the US Capitol Visitor Center last April.  Since the CVC’s recent opening, Lesley has planned several successful events for Congress, the new Administration and the Washington, DC community.  In her spare time, she also plans weddings and other social functions around the DC area. Krista Kaczensky Sermon is an attorney and lives in Edgewater, Maryland with husband Matt and two pugs.  The Sermons just remodeled their kitchen, which provides Krista a venue to express her passion for cooking. Emily Dolan Livelli is an Associate Director of Admissions at Barnard College in New York City, where she recruits students from Northern California, Hawaii and the Washington, DC Metro area.  She married Kevin Livelli in December 2008 and lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Megan O’Leary has spent the past two years in St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands, working as First Mate on a day charter boat to the British Virgin Islands. She is hard at work on her first and second novels, with hopes of publishing in the future. She is spending the summer in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, before 25
