Volunteer Extraordinare If there was balloons to be bought, a team dinner to arrange, a gift to be selected, you could always count on Louise O’Berry to be there at the ready. A dedicated soccer and lacrosse mom, it was a natural for her to be president of the Tiger Club in Caitlyn’s senior year. What you may not have seen is her work as a classroom rep (multiple years) on the Development, Gala and Tiger Trot committees. She was just a phone call away whenever the Development Office needed assistance. We were happy to award Louise our Volunteer of the Year Award at the Annual Volunteer Luncheon this May, given to a parent, grandparent, or friend as a small gesture to recognize the time, talent, and enthusiasm displayed over the years. Her support, and that of so many others, are what makes our mission possible. Louise is just one of an army of volunteers, providing treats for Back-to-School Nights and parent/teacher conferences, stuff and label envelopes, and provide a soup or salad for teacher appreciation lunches. We appreciate it all. However big or small the contribution, we could not do it without you!
