In this, our March 2017 edition of Hollywood Weekly, we are honored to introduce Ms. Helly Cee. The epitome of the Ms. Helly Cee’s philosophy is a succinct and upbeat conviction, “Do what makes you happy and never give up... No one can do it for you and that is part of the beautiful journey.” Ms. Cee is well poised to continue that “beautiful journey” as she is ushered onto the threshold of a glamorous, star-studded career and now just beginning to hit her stride in Hollywood. Well regarded by her colleagues, Helly even aspires to launch a Prather Jackson fashion line and a eco-friendly hair care line.

So you may expect to see her designs/products on the shelves any day. In her 20s, you may well wonder how such a young woman can possess wisdom and grace well beyond her years. To understand the admirable character and keen intellect that accompanies the stunning appearance is to acknowledge the strong familial support she has received throughout her relatively short, soon to be stellar professional life.

We are also proud to announce that Mr. Eric Lane will have a recurring role on Fox’s highly touted hit series Empire, Season 3. Empire continues to out do itself. As it becomes a global television dynasty, the show is constantly adding seasoned fresh talent. With R. Kelly recently announcing more chapters of “Trapped In The Closet”; Empire cast Eric Lane, who plays “Twan”, R’ Kelly’s co-star and right hand man in the R&B Opera.

Eric Lane is from the South-side of Chicago. He currently, resides in Los Angeles. Mr. Lane burst onto the scene in the hit independent film “One Week”. His star continued to rise, being in other films like “Barber Shop” and “Waist Deep”. He was on several televisions shows from “The Parkers”, “Soul Food”, “Prison break” and “Chicago PD”.

The recurring role Eric Lane will play on Empire will knock viewers out. He plays, “Drop” the right hand man of Xzibit’s character “Shyne”. Now, “Shyne” has his right hand man back on his side, anyone is bound to get dropped, even Lucious Lyon. The third season will be premiere on Wednesday, March, 22nd.

And for the finest international flavors meet Umberto Bombana. The renowned Italian chef of 81⁄2 Otto e Mezzo Bombana in Hong Kong, Mr. Bombana is the 2017 recipient of e Diners Club® Lifetime Achievement Award. Honored for his ability to push the limits of traditional Italian cuisine, Bombana was recently presented with his award at the annual Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants awards ceremony hosted at the W Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

Ms. Cee’s upbringing in a traditional Assyrian family in Canada precluded a childhood modeling career in spite of the attention her pulchritude and charisma galvanized.

Even as a girl, talent scouts approached this exotic looker while dining with her family and at the shopping junkets at local malls. The sensible adolescent remained stalwartly committed to her education, but the pull toward her destiny lurked, Helly succumbed to the catwalk and signed with an agency in London, Ontario and Toronto, Ontario at HOLLYWOOD WEEKLY 5

a blushing 16 and the rest, is as they say, history. Always the pragmatist, Helly attended college so she would have a vocational alternative, and graduated with honors as a Pharmacy Technician.

The City of Angels and agents beckoned this angelic coed as it has for so many before her, this super nova booked a one way airplane ticket to her dream and still flying high.

She modeled in Amber Rose’s Slut Walk fashion show last year and appeared in several social media videos that hit millions of views as well as appeared in a few music videos. Her focus is modeling, but acting opportunities are knocking on her door as she makes cameos in a new TV show “Four Kings” and two horror films “Charlie Charlie” and “WILES” (follow her on IG for projects releases). Helly is continuing to charm Hollywood executives with her knockout combination of inner and outer allure.

With so much interest and drive, there’s no stopping Ms. Cee from becoming in the eyes and from the lips of many a house hold name. Modeling is more competitive, more demanding, and more arduous than many aspirants realize from social media to print, but Ms. Cee is a trouper and will triumph as her perseverance and popularity plot a future that many could only fantasize about, but for this star in the making, it is her glorious fate.

Inspired by Italian film director Federico Fellini’s 1963 movie 8½, the restaurant pays homage to Bombana’s native cuisine, serving refined Italian food with the finest seasonal ingredients sourced from around the world. Otto e Mezzo Bombana debuted on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list in 2013 at No.39 and ranked within the top 10 of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list for three consecutive years.
