REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
Represented a Tier 1 automotive component supplier as national counsel in the aftermath of a major product recall; this engagement included advice on crisis management, government regulatory proceedings and investigations, and representation of the company in consolidated and nationwide litigation
Represented an electrical component manufacturer as national counsel in nationwide serial litigation involving building fires
Resolved a first-of-its-kind breach of warranty/product liability action in federal court in favor of an electrical transformer manufacturer sued by a building owner over the presence of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in transformers and the alleged health threat posed to building occupants
Represented a petroleum company in multidistrict product liability litigation involving more than 150 actions involving claims for environmental, toxic tort and natural resource damage claims
Defended logistics and biosciences companies in product liability actions, including matters involving allegations of injury from exposure to pollutants; occupational exposure to various insecticides, herbicides and fungicides; and exposure to various food flavoring chemicals
Advised a component supplier in the HVAC industry in connection with commercial claims for the cost of product recall and replacement
Represented multiple consumer product manufacturers and sellers in Consumer Product Safety Commission proceedings and the execution of voluntary product recall programs
Represented a multinational auto manufacturer in state and federal court in trials alleging design defect, as well as in franchise and warranty-related litigation
