It was great to be back in person for most of our benefit events in 2022, raising more than $3 million for Camp’s growing programs through a variety of exciting opportunities. First up, we celebrated 20 years of the “Fore a Very Good Cause” Golf Tournament in August at Rolling Hills Country Club in Wilton, Conn. Over 18 beautiful holes, participants enjoyed on course goodies including BBQ, Crispy Melty gourmet grilled cheese, frozen custards from Shake Shack and custom cocktails from Tito’s. And friendly competition like Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive and Closest to the Fringe kept competitors on their toes. Following the day on the links, guests enjoyed a dinner reception on the club patio, where they learned more about Hole in the Wall and enjoyed silent and live auctions. New this year, the Poster Cup – honoring board member Dennis Poster who passed away in early 2022 – was presented to the first net winning foursome and first gross winning foursome.
