THANK YOU FOR YOUR FRIENDSHIP TO CAMP
More than 1,000 children with serious illnesses and family members played, laughed and made lasting memories at Camp during 13 Family Weekends and seven summer sessions.

“If my pain gets really bad, I have to go to the hospital, where I become best friends with a beeping machine and am constantly asking when I get to go home. But the hospital is not all bad, the nurses are nice. I get cool crafts from Camp’s Hospital Outreach program which is really fun. They come in and spend time with you so you don’t focus on all the bad parts about being in the hospital. They play games, do arts and crafts and sometimes they help you build legos.”

Nearly 2,300 volunteers helped make Camp magic possible by donating nearly 40,000 hours of their time and talent during Hole in the Wall Programming, through Helping Hands Work Days and by administrativeprovidingsupport.
“Thank you so much for this CampOut opportunity. CampOut NY staff are truly amazing individuals to work with who made the experience an absolute mind blower for my daughter. An amazing experience with the most amazing people. Thank you for making fun memories for my daughter. Forever grateful! Please know that you are truly appreciated for all you do by the families of Hole in the Wall. ”

“Once in-person Camp started to open up, I was able to bring my family with me to Camp during one of the Family Weekends, and we got a whole cabin to ourselves! The Camp staff were amazing at bringing food to us and we did all sorts of activities while also safely distancing from the other families. This really helped when I felt down and lonely and brought me cheer and happiness.” –
