Ode to the neighborhood: The gently sloping building, which is targeting LEED Gold certification, features a high-performance terra-cotta rainscreen that reflects the architectural history and texture of Buffalo, including the vibrant colors found in its Art Deco City Hall, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Darwin Martin House and Louis Sullivan’s Guaranty Building. At street level, the building’s dynamic window pattern and generous canopies welcome the public. Inside, the gray and white terrazzo tiles on the atrium floor meet at a 70-degree angle in similar fashion to Buffalo’s radial street plan.
