The future belongs to the innovators. The storytellers and creators. The future belongs to you. Become a World Changer.

BECAUSE LOCATION IS MORE THAN A PLACE. IT’S

AN OPPORTUNITY.

At Hofstra University, our location on suburban Long Island is central to who we are and how our students learn. Hofstra students live, study, and play on a traditional campus with state of the art labs, centers, and studios, surrounded by grass covered quads and modern residence halls.

But New York City, only an hour’s drive or train ride away, is one of the world’s most diverse destinations, as well as a workplace and experiential classroom for Hofstra students.

BECAUSE WE WILL KNOW YOUR NAME.

Hofstra professors are here for you. They are leaders in their fields and mentors in and out of the classroom. All undergraduate classes are taught by faculty – not graduate students – so you’ll get to know your professors, and they’ll get to know you. Our faculty are Emmy Award winners, Fulbright scholars, entrepreneurs, bestselling authors, renowned scientists and researchers, and respected business executives. They know what it takes to succeed and are dedicated to passing on that knowledge to the next generation of leaders – including you.

“Being at Hofstra gave me a support base bigger than I could have ever imagined. It led me to work with the best in the industry in news, sports, and beyond. Thanks to the mentorship I received at the Herbert School, I had 12 internships, including WABC, WNBC-TV, NBA on TNT, Fox Sports, and Fox News.
