Braintree Has What It Takes BRAINTREE (13-7-4) The Wamps will be a bit light on numbers this winter, so conditioning will take on some added significance. Complementing her up front will be sophomores Dierdre Burchill (24 pts) and Kate Yaxter (14 pts). Senior captain Emily Cadigan (9

pts) headlines things defensively for coach Kevin Burchill.

Senior co-captain Nicole Quinn and junior Rachel Hamilton are back and will be crucial to the Tigers’ offensive success. Freshman Angelina Joyce hopes to chip in. Senior co-captain Caitlin O’Hanley and new freshman Dierdre Mullowney will be key on the blue line.

Varsity holdovers like Leah White, Eve Lenson, Kristina Yee and Rebecca Horton will have huge roles in leading the club to improvement. New players hoping for a role are Anna Rausch, Sophie Burr and Sara Price.

• MVC/Dual County Small • All Back At Haverhill/North Andover HAVERHILL/NORTH ANDOVER (4-8-7) It was a pretty successful first varsity campaign last winter. The team didn’t lose anyone to graduation.
