衷心祝賀香港藝術節今年邁向第4 7屆。今屆藝 術節陣容鼎盛，共有超過1700名來自香港和世 界各地的藝術家傾力演出，為觀眾帶來近1 7 0 場精彩表演。 今年藝術節的節目多姿多彩，當代及古典音 樂、舞蹈、戲劇等不同形式的藝術表演共冶一 爐。每個節目從幕後製作到台前演出，均盡顯 精湛的藝術造詣和超凡的想像力。 我很高興知道最近完成活化的中區警署建築 群，即現在的大館古蹟及藝術館，會在兩個周 末呈獻約5 0場舞蹈表演，供公眾免費入場觀 賞。大家更有機會一起參與在大館的檢閱廣 場、監獄操場，甚至是監獄囚室進行的表演節 目。牛棚藝術村亦會打造為藝術共生創造社， 首度成為藝術節發展作品的平台，場內設有不 同創意領域的工作坊，觀眾並可以欣賞一些創 作中的作品，感受藝術家的多元創意。 除了精彩表演，藝術節亦一如以往，悉心籌備 各項教育和外展活動，致力培育本地藝術人 才。「香港藝術節青少年之友」計劃讓本地學 生有機會觀賞世界級的表演和參與各式各樣的 藝術活動。此外，藝術節亦透過後台參觀和大 師班等「加料節目」，讓觀眾與國際頂尖藝術 家互動接觸，了解節目的幕後製作過程。 衷心感謝香港藝術節團隊一直致力推動本港的 藝術發展，成績斐然。我亦感謝贊助商和捐款 者的大力支持，令每年的藝術節圓滿成功，大 獲好評。 謹祝二零一九年香港藝術節所有觀眾、參加者 和表演者可以盡情享受這次藝術之旅，留下愉 快難忘的回憶。

I am pleased to congratulate the Hong Kong Arts Festival, which turns 47 this year in grand fashion, with nearly 170 performances featuring more than 1,700 artists from Hong Kong and all over the world.

This year, the Festival showcases a dazzling range of classic and contemporary music, dance, theatre and more, each produced, staged and performed with consummate artistry and imagination.

I am also delighted to note that our newly revitalised Central Police Station Compound, now Tai Kwun, Centre for Heritage and Arts, is the venue for some 50 free dance performances over the course of two weekends. I am told that audiences will also have the opportunity to participate in the performances taking place at Tai Kwun’s Parade Ground, Prison Yard and even its prison cell blocks. For the first time, the Arts Festival will turn Cattle Depot Artist Village into a Creative Hub for showcasing workshops and works in progress from a variety of creative disciplines.

Beyond its captivating performances, the Festival remains committed to its educational activities, outreach and development of local artists. The Young Friends of the Hong Kong Arts Festival enables local students to enjoy world-class performances and participate in a range of arts activities, while PLUS programmes bring audiences behind the scenes with some of the world’s greatest artists through backstage tours, masterclasses and more.

This year, we celebrate artists and artworks “At Every Stage”. Not only do we spotlight exhilarating programmes at stages old and new across Hong Kong, but also reflect on the stage as a process of transformation. Leading artists at the peak of their careers perform alongside the next generation of rising stars. Classic repertoire is reinvented through brave homages and boldly experimental retellings, and the original designs, technologies and storytelling modes of new works crash through the boundaries of the traditional stage.

Hong Kong Arts Festival A Major International Arts FestivaI ln, Of and For Hong Kong HKAF, launched in 1973, is a major international arts festival committed to enriching the cultural life of the city by presenting leading local and international artists in all genres of the performing arts as well as a diverse range of “PLUS” and educational events in February and March each year.

HKAF is a non-profit organisation. Secured government baseline funding represents about 13% of the 2019 Festival’s HK$136 million budget, with another nearly 6% specially provided by the Government as time-limited additional funding for five years. Around 28% of the Festival’s income needs to come from the box office, and over 33% from sponsorship and donations made by corporations, individuals, and charitable foundations. It is anticipated that the remaining 20% will come from other revenue sources including the Government’s matching scheme, which matches income generated through private sector sponsorship and donations.

• Large-scale special events: World of WearableArt, Zingaro • Outdoor events: Power Plant, Super Pool, Chorus HKAF actively collaborates with Hong Kong’s own creative talent and showcases emerging local artists. Over the years, HKAF has commissioned and produced over 200 local productions across genres including theatre, chamber opera, music and contemporary dance, many with successful subsequent runs in Hong Kong and overseas. Recent HKAF productions include the Cantonese Opera - Pavilion of a Hundred Flowers, A Floating Family–A Trilogy, Hong Kong Odyssey, Chinese Lesson, Danz Up, Datong–The Chinese Utopia, The Amahs, Blast, Wild Boar and Murder in San Jose, to name a few.

HKAF frequently partners with renowned international artists and institutions to produce exceptional works, such as Der Fensterputzer (The Window Washer) co-produced by HKAF, Goethe-Institut Hong Kong and Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, Richard III and The Tempest produced by The Old Vic, BAM and Neal Street under “The Bridge Project” with HKAF as a co-commissioning institution, Green Snake cocommissioned with Shanghai International Arts Festival, and Dream of the Red Chamber co-produced with San Francisco Opera.

HKAF invests heavily in arts education for young people.

Over the past 27 years, our “Young Friends” scheme has reached over 750,000 local secondary and tertiary school students. A variety of arts education projects serving primary, secondary, and tertiary school students have been launched in recent years, featuring activities such as student showcases, pre-performance talks, open rehearsals, opportunities to attend Festival performances, as well as in-school workshops and lecture demonstrations led by international and local artists. Donations to the “Student Ticket Scheme” also make available approximately 10,000 half-price student tickets each year.

HKAF organises a diverse range of “Festival PLUS” activities in community locations each year to enhance engagement between artists and audiences. These include films, lecture demonstrations, masterclasses, workshops, symposia, backstage visits, exhibitions, meet-the-artist sessions, and guided cultural tours.

Liu Mila, a graduate student from mainland China avidly interested in Hong Kong gang culture, arrives in the city to devote her MPhil research to the local underworld.

Through the course of collecting oral histories for her dissertation, she comes to know three men who once roamed the streets of Sham Shui Po as small-time gangsters in their youth. When she runs into trouble at her rented flat, the three middle-aged men each offer advice to help solve the problem, an experience that enriches her final thesis.

Playwright's Note 《九江》的緣起大概是 2017 年 1 月初的某 一個夜晚，我與太太在回家路上看到一對情 侶半坐在地上，動作似在糾纏。太太望了一 眼，相信是情侶鬧分手，我們沒有停步，繼 續前行，突然傳來向我們方向大放的粗口， 回頭一看，剛才的男事主勢似追上前來，不 斷大聲問候，繼續爆粗，質問我太太剛才在 看甚麼。我深知不妙：對方是個半醉男子， 且高大威猛，黑 T 恤手臂袖口位露出龍爪與 鳳尾的紋身，我拉着太太即轉身離開，但對 方還是疾趨上前，連續追問我太太：「看甚 麼？！」 大概是以往香港的「英雄片」、「江湖片」 所影響，我太太並無半點膽怯，轉身反問對 方「 而 家 乜 嘢 事！」。 我 常 認 為 我 太 太 是 「膽生毛而忘記剃掉」的人，只繼續強拉她 離開，後邊還傳來大聲一句「我 XXX（黑社 會社團的名稱）嘅」，太太氣結，邊行邊跟 我說：「自稱三合會成員是犯法的！……最 多就打場交！」我知道如果要動手的話，對 方應該不會打她而是打我……當時沒說出這 真心話，只說對方是黑社會，快走好了。 之後某次飯聚，跟香港藝術節副節目總監 蘇國雲先生提及此事，蘇先生認為我該寫 個關於黑社會的故事。編寫《九江》的時 候，沒有把以上的事件放進去，我開始問自 己︰黑社會不是已經 o u tdat ed 嗎？以為成 了歷史一部分，但發現原來有些東西彷佛已 像霧霾，縱使黑幫廝鬥已不常發生，但又多 了很多街頭的 casual fight，如果以往黑社會 以不法手段與暴力行事，難道現在普及化了 嗎？……腦海中不斷記起那個身材比我高的

The origin of Gangsters of Hong Kong came about late one night in early January 2017. My wife and I were on our way home when we saw a pair of lovers halfsitting on the ground, seemingly having a fight. My wife took a look at them, believing they were a couple going through a break-up. We didn’t stop to gawk; we simply carried on our way. Suddenly, we heard a voice shouting obscenities at us and turned around to see the man from before rushing after us, spitting vitriol, demanding my wife tell him what she was staring at. It made me uneasy: he was half-drunk, hulking, strong. A tattoo of a dragon claw and a phoenix tail peeked out from the sleeve of his black T-shirt. I grabbed my wife’s hand and turned to leave, but the man chased after us, taunting my wife with the question: “What are you looking at?”

Perhaps bolstered by the influence of Hong Kong’s “hero” and "ganster" films of the past, my wife was not at all intimidated. Instead, she turned around and asked him, “What’s the matter now?” I often think my wife is so bold she forgets her head, and tried to drag her away. The man shouted from behind, “I’m from XXX [the name of a triad society]!” Incensed, my wife said as we walked away, “It’s illegal to call oneself a member of the triads…At worst, we can fight!” I knew that if we were to fight, he’d hit me instead of her…I didn’t tell her my true feelings then; I just told her we should get out of there since the man was a gangster.

Later at a gathering, I told HKAF’s Associate Programme Director, Mr So Kwok-wan, about this incident, and he suggested I write a story about Hong Kong gangsters.

While writing Gangsters of Hong Kong, I chose not to include the above incident and found myself asking: “Aren’t Hong Kong gangsters outdated?” I had thought they’d already become a part of history, but it turns out that some things can cling to the city like smog. Even though large gangster stand-offs are now rare, there are far more casual street fights than ever before. If the gangsters of the past used illegal and violent means, have these tactics now become popularised?...The image of that tall and threatening man keeps resurfacing in my mind. Who could be worse than him? What will his future look like?

香港江湖新傳 蛻變中未完成

The new legacy of Hong Kong's underworld 深水埗九江街，江湖傳聞專出惡人，故有 「惡人谷」之名。編劇龍文康以九江街這小 江湖作背景，寫上世紀七八十年代的三個 小混混，在經歷了時光可變、世界可變後， 青年人終煉成了大叔。他們目睹一個時代過 去，另一個時代尚在更新—面對這片新江 湖，前路仍是未知。

It’s said that Kiu Kiang Street in Sham Shui Po once bred delinquents and undesirables; it’s thus been given the moniker of “the Valley of Undesirables”. Taking this microcosm of the underworld as backdrop, playwright Loong Man-hong tells the story of three small-time thugs of the 1980s—now middle-aged men who’ve witnessed the passing of an era and the development of a new age. In the face of this new underworld, their futures remain uncertain.

A disappearing landscape

「我並非要寫香港歷史，也不是要說黑社會

“I’m not trying to write the history of Hong Kong, nor am I telling a gangster story; the triads and these three gangsters are merely entry points for me to portray the formation of a new Hong Kong and a new Hong Kong people,” says Loong.

故事，我是以社團和三個小混混做切入點， 寫新香港、新香港人的形成。」龍文康如是 說。 曾為香港藝術節編寫迷你史詩《香港家族》 三部曲，同時憑電影《樹大招風》獲得金馬 獎最佳編劇的龍文康，要他寫香港懷舊故事 或江湖恩怨固然手到拿來，但這一回龍文康 偏偏不走這兩條「必勝」之路。《九江》這 一章香港新傳，撇掉江湖腥風血雨，亦不硬 銷英雄主義，他是借江湖，寫一個正在轉型 中的新時代。 「說到八九十年代，日子雖然不是離現在很 遠，但相比今天我們已經歷了太多變化。 八九十年代經濟蓬勃，市面上的人都打扮 得 光 鮮 亮 麗， 人 人 都 充 滿 活 力； 當 年 去

Canton Disco，甚至中國城夜總會，不代表 不正經，反而是一種潮流時尚的象徵。但隨 着時代轉變，某些東西消失了，一些獨特的 『風景』亦不見了。」龍文康感同身受的說。

Loong’s previous projects, like 2017’s HKAF production of A Floating Family: A Trilogy and the 2016 film Trivisa (for which he won a Golden Horse for Best Original Screenplay), dealt with beloved storylines like Hong Kong nostalgia and gangster stand-offs. But this time around, Loong decidedly steered away from such a well-travelled path. The new legacy of Hong Kong depicted in Gangsters of Hong Kong sheds the mantle of the blood and carnage of the underworld and shies away from brotherly heroism. Instead, Loong borrows the underworld to write about a new era still undergoing a process of transformation.

“The 1980s and 1990s may not seem so far from today, but looking back, we have indeed been through many changes. The economy was booming then. City dwellers dressed to the nines, and everyone was full of energy.

If you hung around the Canton Disco, or even went out to the Chinatown Nightclub back then, it didn’t mean you weren’t a respectable person; it was simply a sign of the times. But as times change, some things disappear, and the unique ‘landscape’ is gone as well,” Loong comments, drawing from personal experience.

《九江》導演兼在劇中分飾中年古惑仔的李 鎮洲也同意：「那個時代的香港人很有自 信，亦很自重，對自我身份認同有某程度的 自豪感。但來到今天，許多舊有的價值觀都 在消失中。如果昔日引以為傲的人和事都消 失了，那麼我們今天還剩下些甚麼？」

Lee Chun-chow, director and one of the play’s lead actors, agrees: “Back then, Hong Kongers were very confident and had a lot of self-respect. They took pride in their identity. But today, many values of the past are vanishing. If the people and things of the past that we used to take pride in are gone, what’s left for us today?”

個世代的蛻變。

An interrogation of the changes brought on by time is central to Gangsters’s plot: fascinated by Hong Kong’s gangster culture, a research student from mainland China interviews three middle-aged men who grew up around Sham Shui Po’s Kiu Kiang Street for her Cultural Studies thesis. Thus juxtaposed, the two generations reflect the metamorphosis of Hong Kong across two eras.

留白的弦外之音

Reading between the lines

巨輪在轉，那是時間進程之必然，故龍文康

As the great wheel of time inevitably keeps on turning, Loong declined to engage in binary critiques of the two generations whilst drafting the play; he busied himself instead with recording and re-presenting his field observations. “The descriptions in the story are my immediate observations and feelings. The new and old values I’ve laid out have their own distinctions, but I didn’t compare which is better or worse.” Because of this, as Loong depicts the people and events in Gangsters, he intentionally avoids black-and-white plot devices.

Instead, he starts from the details of daily life: “There are gaps in the story. I hope the audience can taste the drama slipping through and experience the differences of these two generations.”

對於時代轉折的詰問，便構成了《九江》的 故事脈絡：一個迷戀香港黑社會文化的內地 研究生，因為要籌備以江湖為題目的文化研 究論文，走訪三位出身於深水埗九江街的中 年人。在兩代對照間，折射出一個香港、兩

落墨《九江》的新舊兩代之時，沒有二元批 判；他只是如漫遊者般，將田野觀察紀錄呈 現人前。「故事中的描述，都是我在當下捕 捉到的一些觀察和所知所感，當中我鋪陳的 新、舊兩種價值觀，兩者之間當然有明顯落 差，但我沒有對比誰好與誰壞。」因此龍文 康在訴說《九江》的人與事時，刻意避開 非黑即白的情節，而從日常生活細節入手， 「故事中亦有留白，我希望觀眾可以『嗒』 到那滲出來的戲味，自己體會這兩代人的不 一樣。」

正因為《九江》預設許多留白，讓李鎮洲也 不敢掉以輕心，「我跟大部分人一樣，都是 看黑社會片長大的一群，想想也差不多看了 三十年了。但當我接到劇本後，我才發現最 大挑戰是，劇本本身不是單純的講故事，當 中有許多意在弦外、語帶雙關的隱喻，要讓 觀眾揣摩、思考。龍文康劇本刻意隱晦，我 作為導演，事前要跟他不斷溝通，確保我沒 有誤讀他的原意，同時要尊重編劇意圖，舞 台處理上要特別小心。」 不沉溺集體回憶 站在新時代盤點昔日，很輕易落入集體懷舊 的陳腔濫調中，龍文康的《九江》明顯不走 這套路，他說：「如果硬要將當下跟以前比， 當然會覺得現在不及從前，但我很清楚我們 不能返轉頭，亦毋須返轉頭。坊間的集體回 憶已太氾濫，氾濫到令人窒息，其實只顧不 斷回頭、不斷留戀以前，等同食老本，這樣 的未來沒意思。既然回不去，不如繼續向前 行。」 《九江》中的新香港或新香港人，至劇末仍 在醞釀成形中。既然未來尚未定案，就把握 今天，攜手着墨成新章。 李蜜

Precisely because of the many gaps in the plot of Gangsters of Hong Kong, Lee Chun-chow dared not take his task lightly: “Like many people, I grew up watching gangster films; I’ve been watching them for almost 30 years. But when I got the script, I realised that the biggest challenge is that the script itself is not the only aspect telling the story. There are many hidden metaphors that require the audience's reflection. Loong intentionally leaves things a bit obscure. As a director, I have to constantly speak to him beforehand to make sure I didn’t misinterpret the script. I have to respect the intentions of the playwright and be very careful processing the play on stage.”

No indulgences in collective memories When rethinking the past through a contemporary lens, it’s easy to fall into a hackneyed rut of collective nostalgia. Loong’s play is clearly not about that. “If we insist on comparing the past with the present, of course we would think that the present is not as good as the past,” says Loong. “But I know that we cannot turn back, and there is no need. There is an outflow of collective memory that is suffocating us. If we constantly look back and get nostalgic, we are just living off the past, which is meaningless for the future. If we can’t return to the past anyway, we might as well move forward.”

By its end, the new Hong Kong and new Hong Kongers presented in Gangsters of Hong Kong are still in a process of becoming. Faced with this uncertain future, we must take hold of the present, and create a new chapter together.

Hong Kong playwright Loong Man-hong graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts School of Drama, majoring in playwrighting. From 2015 to 2017, he completed an MA in Cultural Studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Loong's Mandarin-language short play Duo Yu was selected for the Singapore edition of the Short+Sweet Festival, while his play Quicksand received special mention at the 2009 Taipei Literature Awards. He received a Best Screenplay nomination for Protégé at both the Golden Horse and Hong Kong Film Awards. He was also twice nominated for Best Play at the 23rd and 24th Hong Kong Drama Awards for The Big Big Day and Go Go Ghost. He was the winner of the Best Play award for The Abandoned Harbour at the 25th Hong Kong Drama Awards and the Best Original Screenplay for Trivisa at the 53rd Golden Horse Awards.

Lee Chun-chow completed a postgraduate diploma course on East/West Theatre Studies at the University of Hong Kong’s School of Professional and Continuing Education. He was previously the assistant artistic director at the Chung Ying Theatre Company. The Hong Kong Federation of Drama Societies awarded him: Best Director for his productions of Aladdin, The Professional, The Murder in San Jose and The Three Brothers; Best Leading Actor for the title roles in The Old Master Q and The Legend of Zhong Kui and as Hu Xueyan in The Merchant of China; and Best Supporting Actor in The Alchemist. He also won Outstanding Leading Actor for his portrayal of the title role in Ho Chi Min On Trial and Best Director for Floating at the Hong Kong Theatre Libre. In 2000, Lee was awarded the Medal of Honour from the HKSAR Government.

彭鎮南 文永發

Victor Pang Chun-nam Man Wing-fat 畢業於香港演藝學院戲劇學院，主修表演；獲英國倫敦密德薩斯大學表演藝術學士及 舞台導演碩士學位。留英期間曾隨法國戲劇大師菲利普．高利耶進修演技，亦曾赴俄 羅斯莫斯科藝術學院研習契訶夫戲劇。1 9 9 1 年與一眾演藝同學創立演戲家族，致力 推動香港戲劇發展，並憑《錯吻情真》獲第二屆香港舞台劇獎最佳男配角 ( 悲 / 正劇 )； 亦經常參與不同劇團的演出。 近年專注導演工作，重要音樂劇製作《邊城》、《四川好人》、及《一屋寶貝》均獲 香港舞台劇獎「最佳整體演出獎」，近作有《遇上 1941 的女孩》、《美麗的一天》、 《星夢塵緣》( 香港大會堂五十週年呈獻節目 ) 及《戀愛輕飄飄》等。現為演戲家族 藝術總監、城市大學創意媒體學院客席講師。 Victor Pang graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in acting; he then obtained a Bachelor’s in Theatre Arts and a Master’s in Theatre Directing from Middlesex University London. He studied acting with French drama guru Philippe Gaulier during his stay in England and visited Moscow Art Theatre School to study Chekhov’s plays. In 1991, together with his schoolmates, he founded Actors’ Family to foster local theatre development; he also won Best Supporting Actor at the 2nd Hong Kong Drama Awards for Prelude to a Kiss.

Recently, Pang has turned to exploring local musical theatre and directing. His signature musical productions, such as The Border Town, The Good Person of Szechwan and The Passage Beyond, won the Best Overall Performance at the Hong Kong Drama Awards. Recent works also include How to be a Star, Bloody Hell and The Love Story of Sam and Sally. He is now the Creative Director of Actors’ Family and a Guest Lecturer at the School of Creative Media in the City University of Hong Kong.

陳永泉 徐世凱

Chan Wing-chuen Tsui Sai-hoi 陳永泉為普劇場藝術總監、資深劇場演員及導演，是香港演藝學院戲劇學院首屆畢業 生，主修表演；曾獲香港藝術發展局頒贈獎學金，前往法國追隨菲利普．高利耶深造。 2018 年憑 Project Roundabout《謊言》榮獲香港舞台劇獎「最佳男配角」（喜 / 鬧劇）。 2015 年憑同流《野豬》榮獲香港舞台劇獎「最佳男主角」及新視野藝術節《海達珈 珼珞》榮獲「最佳男配角」( 悲 / 正劇 ) 獎項。 2 0 0 1 年榮獲香港舞台劇獎「優秀青年 演員」。 Chan Wing-chuen is the artistic director of Pop Theatre and an experienced theatre actor and director. He was among the first generation of graduates from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in acting. With a scholarship from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC), he went to France to further his studies at L’École Philippe Gaulier.

In 2018, Chan was awarded the Best Supporting Actor (Comedy/Farce) for Project Roundabout’s The Truth by the Hong Kong Federation of Drama Societies. In 2015, he won the Federation’s award for Best Actor in WeDraman’s Wild Boar and Best Supporting Actor (Tragedy/Drama) for Newvision Arts Festival’s Hedda Gabler. In 2001, the Federation awarded him the title of Outstanding Young Actor.

Shirlee Tsoi Wan-wa Liu Mila 蔡運華畢業於香港中文大學新聞與傳播學院，於 2 0 0 4 年投身劇場工作，成為職業演 員。曾參演香港藝術節委約節目《香港家族》三部曲（2017）及《金蘭姊妹》（2015）。 2010 年與陳彥聰成立創作單位「后花園」，編、導、演《夜靜無風 》、《白夜行》及《夜 車》。2014 年憑《金龍》提名第 23 屆舞台劇獎最佳女主角，憑《奧利安娜》（2009） 提名第二屆香港小劇場獎最佳女主角。她是 2013 年香港藝術發展獎「藝術新秀獎（戲 劇）」得主。 其他影視作品包括香港電台《那些年那些歌 II—林憶蓮篇》、《那些年那些歌—王菲 篇（給自己的情書）》、Rubberband 《挾持》MV、《100 毛 x Reneex 膠原自生》廣告。 現身兼香港賽馬會六合彩主持。 Shirlee Tsoi Wan-wa graduated from the CUHK School of Journalism and Communication and began her career in theatre in 2004. She performed in the HKAF productions A Floating Family: A Trilogy (2017) and The Amahs (2015). In 2010, she established her own production company, Haverland, together with Chan Yin-chung, for which she wrote, directed and performed in A Missing Story, White Night and Light Change. She was nominated as Best Actress (Comedy/Farce) at the 23rd Hong Kong Drama Awards for her performance in The Golden Dragon (2013) and as Best Actress at the 2nd the Hong Kong Theatre Libre for her role in Oleanna (2009). In 2013, she won the Young Artist Award at Hong Kong Arts Development Awards.

Other TV and movie works include RTHK’s Those Were The Songs II: Sandy Lam, Those Were The Songs: Faye Wong (Love Letter to Myself), Rubberband’s music video Hold, and an advertisement 100Most x Reneex Neo-Collagen. She is currently the hostess of HKJC’s Mark Six.

Alice Fung Hunt-sze Karen 2 012 年畢業於香港演藝學院戲劇學院學士（榮譽）學位，主修表演。在學期間獲頒 多次傑出演員獎及獎學金。2014 年加入劇場工作室成為全職演員。2 0 1 5 年憑《最後 疑問》獲提名第廿四屆香港舞台劇獎最佳女配角（悲 / 正劇）。2016 於英國、歐洲流 浪一年多，與不同外國藝術家學習、交流及體驗戲劇藝術。除曾與多個劇團、機構合 作外，亦常參與網絡、電影電視及廣告演出。現為自由身演員。 Alice Fung graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts School of Drama with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) in Acting in 2012. During her studies, she was awarded scholarships and the Outstanding Actress Award numerous times. In 2014, she joined Drama Gallery as a full-time actress. In 2015, she was nominated as Best Supporting Actress (Tragedy/ Drama) at the 24th Hong Kong Drama Awards for her performance in Doubt. In 2016, she travelled throughout the UK and Europe for more than a year, where she studied and engaged with different overseas artists and theatrical arts. In addition to working with various theatre troupes and organizations, Fung often participates in web, film, television and commercial performance work. She is currently a freelance actress.

Tang Sai-cheong Associate Director 2006 年 畢 業 於 香 港 演 藝 學 院 戲 劇 學 院， 獲 藝 術 學 士（ 榮 譽 學 位 ）， 主 修 表 演。 2017 年畢業於香港演藝學院藝術碩士研究生，主修編劇，憑《三子》獲提名第廿六 屆香港舞台劇獎最佳劇本，2018 年憑《下一秒我就憎你》獲提名第廿七屆香港舞台 劇獎最佳男配角 ( 喜 / 鬧劇 )。 鄧氏現為舞台演員、編劇、導演、戲劇導師。於 2 0 0 9 年創辦黑目鳥劇團，現為劇團 之藝術總監。編劇作品包括：香港話劇團《三子》、香港話劇團新戲匠系列《鄧世昌 的歷史故事》、黑目鳥劇團《鴕鳥頭》、《風車草劇團青少年劇場《作弊而已》（2018） ( 聯合編劇 ) 等。翻譯作品包括：香港演藝學院《原野》、前進進讀劇馬拉松 Ca ry l Churchill 劇本《大量》等。曾擔任導演工作包括：英皇娛樂製作《奪命證人》（導演 助理）、演戲家族音樂劇《愛情漫曼谷》( 香港及內地巡演 )、香港藝術中心編劇工場 《家和．萬事輕》等。演出作品包括：香港藝術節《森林海上的紅樓》、W 創作社《下 一秒我就憎你》、《修羅場》、《小人國》系列 (1、 4、 5、6 集 ) 等。 Tang Sai-cheong graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) School of Drama in 2006 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) in Acting; in 2017, he graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in Playwriting. His work on Three Brothers was nominated for Best Script at the 26th Hong Kong Drama Awards. In 2018, he was nominated Best Supporting Actor (Comedy/ Farce) at the 27th Hong Kong Drama Awards for his performance in Hate You in a Second.

Tang is currently a stage actor, playwright, director and acting coach. He founded Black Bird Theatre in 2009 and is currently the artistic director of the company. His works as a playwright include: Hong Kong Repertory Theatre’s Three Brothers and Tang Sai Cheong (Since 1894); Black Bird Theatre’s The Head of Ostrich; and Windmill Grass Theatre’s Cheating As Usual (2018). His translated works include the HKAPA’s The Wilderness and On & On Theatre Workshop's stage reading of Caryl Churchill’s play A Number. His directorial work includes: Emperor Entertainment Group’s Witness for the Prosecution (Assistant Director), Actors’ Family’s musical The Lesson I Learnt in Bangkok (Hong Kong and Mainland China tour), and the Hong Kong Art Centre Playwright’s Studio’s Happy Family, among others. His acting credits include: HKAF’s Red Chamber in the Concrete Forest and W Theatre’s Hate You in A Second, Shuraba and Little Hong Kong series (Seasons 1, 4, 5 and 6).

陳焯華 燈光設計

Billy Chan Lighting Designer 陳焯華 1 996 年畢業於香港演藝學院科藝學院，主修劇場燈光設計。重要設計作品有宇烈作品《硬銷》、《萬世 歌王》及《賈寶玉》等。從 1997 年《愛的教育》起與非常林奕華長期合作，作品包括《聊齋》、《華麗上班族 之生活與生存》及《紅樓夢》等。2008 年憑《梨花夢》獲得第十七屆香港舞台劇獎最佳燈光設計。2017 年憑《紅 樓夢》獲上海戲劇谷 2017 壹戲劇大賞年度最佳舞台美術類（燈光設計）。2007、2011 及 2015 年分別憑《逐色》、 《萬千師奶賀台慶》及《三國》代表香港參加布拉格劇場設計四年展，亦曾任該展第十三屆香港展館聯合策展人。 近期作品包括香港芭蕾舞團《大亨小傳》、毛俊輝導演作品《奪命證人》及第四十五屆香港藝術節《世紀． 香港》 音樂會等。 Billy Chan graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 1996, majoring in theatre lighting design. His major designs include Yuri Ng’s Love On Sale, L’ emperor du Chant, and Awakening, among others. He has worked with Edward Lam Dance Theatre since 1997; recent collaborations include Why We Chat?, Design for Living, and What is Sex? (Best Stage Art [Lighting Design] at the Shanghai Modern Drama Valley One Drama Awards, 2017), among others. His work on Secret of Resurrection won Best Lighting Design at the Hong Kong Drama Awards in 2008. Chan represented Hong Kong in 2007, 2011 and 2015 at the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space with his designs for Colour Fugue, My Life as a TV and What Is Success?, respectively, and was a curator at the Hong Kong Exposition in the 13th Prague Quadrennial.

Recent works include the Hong Kong Ballet’s The Great Gatsby, Fredric Mao’s Witness for the Prosecution and the 45th HKAF’s Hong Kong Odyssey concert, among others.

陳偉發 音響設計

Chan Wai-fat Sound Designer 陳偉發現為自由作曲／音響設計及演奏者。自 2004 年開始為多個藝團創作，參與製作超過一百部。多次獲提名 最佳音響設計及最佳配樂獎，並憑 POP theatre《八百比丘尼》（2012）獲最佳音響設計獎；香港話劇團《脫皮爸爸》 （2012）、《安非他命》（2015）、《親愛的，胡雪巖》（2017）四次獲得最佳音響設計及最佳配樂獎。 Chan Wai-fat is currently a freelance composer, sound designer and performer. He has created work for various artistic companies since 2004, and has participated in more than 100 productions. Chan has been nominated for Best Sound Design and Best Score several times. He was winner of Best Sound Design for POP Theatre’s Eight Hundred Years of Hatred, Eight Hundred Years of Healing (2012) and is a four-time winner of Best Sound Design and Best Score for Hong Kong Repertory Theatre productions, including Shed Skin Papa (2012), Attempts on her Life (2015) and Hu Xue Yan, My Dear (2017).

Bobo Chan Production Manager 陳寶愉於 1996 年畢業於香港演藝學院，主修舞台及技術管理。2002 至 10 年出任 PIP 劇場（前身為劇場組合）製 作經理及舞台監督。由 2010 年至今，以自由工作者身份為本地演出擔任製作總監或技術監督工作，經常合作的 劇團和機構包括非常林奕華、毛俊輝戲劇計畫、神戲劇場、W 創作社、風車草劇團及香港藝術節等，其間亦參 與多個大型商業舞台製作。近年為多個本地作品的亞洲巡演劇碼出任製作總監，巡演地點包括中國大陸、台灣、 新加坡等地，同時亦為外國及內地藝術團體的來港演出擔任技術統籌及管理工作。2 0 1 5 年代表香港舞台技及術 設計人員協會，參與布拉格劇場設計四年展 。 Bobo Chan graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 1996, majoring in stage and technical management.

She has been a production manager and technical and stage director for various companies and arts organisations. She was also the production director of several local productions’ Asia tours, including Awakening, I Hate Therefore I Marry, Art School Musical, The Liaisons and Le Dieu du carnage. Chan has worked as a technical coordinator for Hong Kong Arts Festival for many years, most recently as production manager for the 2017 opera Dream of the Red Chamber.

余慧琳 舞台監督

Muijai Yu Stage Manager 余慧琳於香港演藝學院舞台及製作藝術學院舞台及製作藝術學士（榮譽）學位畢業，主修技術指導。現為自由身 舞台工作者。近年與不同藝團合作，主要擔任舞台管理工作。 Muijai Yu graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a BFA (Hons) in Technical Direction. Yu currently works as a theatre freelancer.
