MESSAGE FROM THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE

I would like to congratulate the Hong Kong Arts Festival on the organisation of its 51st edition.

第五十一屆香港藝術節隆重舉行，可 喜可賀。

逾半個世紀以來，藝術節每年均呈獻 多姿多彩的文藝節目，由古典音樂、 歌劇、戲劇，以至舞蹈、多媒體項 目等，包羅萬有，令觀眾大飽眼福。

今屆藝術節以《收音機與茱麗葉》及 《春之祭》芭蕾舞表演揭開序幕，兩 齣經典作品經由著名編舞家愛德華 · 克魯格重新編排，加上斯洛文尼亞 國家歌劇院馬里博爾芭蕾舞團傾力演 出，萬眾矚目；約五星期後，歐洲頂 尖交響樂團—德國班貝格交響樂團將 登台獻技，為今年藝術節畫上圓滿句 號。其間上演的焦點節目還有：國 際星級女高音安娜 · 涅翠柯與丈夫男 高音尤西夫 · 伊瓦佐夫聯袂表演的音 樂會；由藝術家威廉 · 肯特里奇精心 製作、南非木偶劇團和比利時里切卡 爾古樂團奇妙演繹的蒙特威爾第歌劇 ；由芭蕾天后娜塔 《尤利西斯歸鄉記》 麗亞 · 奧斯波娃領銜主演的芭蕾巨 星之《「世」不可擋》及傳奇舞姬之 ；以及國際鋼琴大賽冠軍劉曉 《趾尖》 禹的演奏會。

藝術節向來十分重視本地演藝人才， 致力讓他們一展才華。今屆藝術節亦 會上演多個粵劇節目，包括《竹林愛 傳奇》、 「毛俊輝．粵劇情」、 《畫皮》 ( 精 新 版 )， 以 及「短 篇 粵 劇 — 戲 說 ；並帶來其他本地作品，包括 八德」 《飯戲攻心》踏台版、 《末戀．無愛合 約》、舞蹈歌劇《兩生花》等等，定 必精彩萬分，不容錯過。 大眾還可通過藝術節，體驗繽紛的藝 術魅力。法國食蟻獸沉浸式藝術工作 室創作的《第一步》，會邀請觀眾互 動共舞；在大館舉行的一系列免費藝 術科技節目，以及「無限亮」計劃， 亦會讓公眾參與其中。 「無限亮」計 劃由本地和海外不同能力的藝術家擔 綱演出，鼓勵青少年衝破界限，探索

For more than half a century now, the Arts Festival has enthralled audiences with a superb annual programme of arts and culture performances embracing classical music and opera, theatre, dance, multimedia and a great deal more.

This year’s Arts Festival programme opens with the Slovene National Theatre Maribor’s ballet performances of Radio and Juliet and Le Sacre du Printemps, two classics re-imagined by celebrated choreographer Edward Clug. It closes, nearly five weeks later, with a concert by Germany’s Bamberg Symphony, one of Europe’s greatest orchestras. Other highlights include Anna Netrebko, one of the world’s great sopranos, performing with her husband, tenor Yusif Eyvazov; artist William Kentridge’s remarkable production of Monteverdi’s opera, Il Ritorno d’Ulisse, brought to life by South Africa’s Handspring Puppet Company and Belgium’s Ricercar Consort periodinstrument ensemble; Ballet Superstars’ Force of Nature and Legendary Ballerina 新知。 「香港藝術節青少年之友」計 劃同樣以豐富年輕人的體驗為目標， 籌備了多場學校巡演、演前工作坊和 特備節目。 「加料節目」的創意活動 則把全港觀眾與藝術家連繫起來，讓 藝術文化遍及社區。

in Two Feet featuring supreme ballerina Natalia Osipova; and concerts by the international award-winning piano virtuoso Bruce Liu. As always, the Festival shines a spotlight on standout artists from Hong Kong. This year’s Cantonese opera offerings include Love in the Bamboo Grove, Cantonese Opera Classics Circa 2023, The Painted Skin (Refined Edition) and Virtues and Morality—Four Cantonese Operas.

Local productions including Table For Six on Stage, Loveless Romance and Love Streams are sure to be among this year’s Festival highlights.

Several programmes invite public participation as well, including the First Steps participatory dance performances staged by France’s Tamanoir Immersive Studio, as well as Tai Kwun’s free series of arts tech productions and the Festival’s No Limits programme, led by local and international artists of varying abilities. No Limits’ offerings emphasise youth exploration, as does the Young Friends of the Hong Kong Arts Festival with its school tours, preperformance workshops and special programming. And then there is the Festival PLUS creative activities that bring artists and audiences together in communities throughout Hong Kong.

I am grateful to the Hong Kong Arts Festival for its inspired commitment to the arts and to Hong Kong’s continuing rise as an East-meets-West centre for international cultural exchange. My thanks, as well, to the Festival’s many generous sponsors and donors.

Our theme this year, “Coming Back, Moving Forward”, represents our determination to come back in full force after several years of uncertainties caused by the pandemic. An International Arts Festival in Hong Kong Connecting China and the World 香港藝術節於 1973 年正式揭幕，是國際藝壇中重要的文化 盛事，於每年 2、3 月期間呈獻眾多優秀本地及國際藝術家 的演出，以及舉辦多元化的「加料」和教育活動，致力豐 富香港的文化生活 。

香港藝術節是一所非牟利機構，2022/23 財政年度預計收 入（包 括 第 51 屆 香 港 藝 術 節 及 2023 年「無 限 亮」）約 港 幣一億五千萬，當中香港特區政府的年度撥款佔總收入約 18%，另外約 24% 需來自票房收入，約 43% 則需依賴來自 各大企業、熱心人士和慈善基金會的贊助和捐款 。預計餘 下的約 15% 則來自其他收入，包括政府針對捐款和贊助收 入而提供的配對資助 。 香港藝術節每年呈獻眾多國際演藝名家精采多元的演出， 例如 *：

香港藝術節積極與本地演藝人才合作，並致力為新進藝術 家提供展示才華的平台 。藝術節至今委約及製作逾 250 套 本地全新創作，包括粵劇、戲劇、室內歌劇、音樂和舞蹈 作品，不少製作更已在香港及海外多度重演 。近年的藝術 節新製作包括《鼠疫》、《陪着你走》、《百花亭贈劍》、《香 港家族》三部曲、《世紀 • 香港》、《炫舞場》、《大同》、 《金蘭姊妹》、《聖荷西謀殺案》等 。

The HKAF, launched in 1973, is a major international arts festival committed to enriching the cultural life of the city by presenting leading local and international artists in all genres of the performing arts as well as a diverse range of “PLUS” and educational events in February and March each year.

The HKAF is a non-profit organisation. The total estimated income for FY2022/23 (including the 51st Hong Kong Arts Festival and 2023 “No Limits”) is approximately HK$150 million. Current Government annual funding accounts for around 18% of the Festival's total income. Around 24% of the Festival’s income needs to come from the box office, and around 43% from sponsorship and donations made by corporations, individuals and charitable foundations. The remaining 15% is expected to come from other revenue sources including the Government’s matching scheme, which matches income generated through private sector sponsorship and donations.

Over the years, HKAF has commissioned and produced over 250 local productions across genres including Cantonese opera, theatre, chamber opera, music and contemporary dance, many with successful subsequent runs in Hong Kong and overseas. Recent HKAF productions include The Plague, Always by Your Side, Pavilion of a Hundred Flowers, A Floating Family – A Trilogy, Hong Kong Odyssey, Danz Up, Datong – The Chinese Utopia, The Amahs and Murder in San Jose, to name a few.

The HKAF frequently partners with renowned international artists and institutions to produce exceptional works, such as Der Fensterputzer (The Window Washer) co-produced by HKAF, Goethe-Institut Hong Kong and Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina

香港藝術節多年來與知名海外藝術家及團體聯合製作不少 優秀作品，當中包括由香港藝術節、香港歌德學院及翩 娜 ．包殊烏珀塔爾舞蹈劇場聯合製作的《抹窗人》、由倫 敦老域劇院、布魯克林音樂學院與尼爾街製作公司製作、 香港藝術節為聯合委約機構之一的「橫貫計劃」之《暴風 雨》及《李察三世》、由香港藝術節及上海國際藝術節聯 合委約的《青蛇》、三藩市歌劇院與香港藝術節聯合製作 的《紅樓夢》等 。

香港藝術節大力投資下一代的藝術教育 。「青少年之友」 成立 30 年來，已為逾 810,000 位本地中學生及大專生提供 藝術體驗活動 。藝術節近年亦開展多項針對大、中、小學 生的藝術教育活動，包括由國際及本地藝術家主持的示範 講座及工作坊、學生展演、演前講座、公開彩排、以及欣 賞藝術節演出 。同時，通過「學生票捐助計劃」，藝術節 每年提供約 10,000 張半價學生票 。 香港藝術節每年主辦一系列多元化並深入社區的「加料節 目」，例如電影放映、示範講座、大師班、工作坊、座談 會、後台參觀、展覽、藝人談、文化導賞團等，鼓勵觀眾 與藝術家互動接觸 。

香港藝術節亦銳意將共融藝術理念拓展到社區每一角落 。 由藝術節與香港賽馬會慈善信託基金聯合呈獻的「無限 亮」計劃於 2019 年正式開展，透過一系列的演出及多元的 教育及社區外展節目，「無限亮」致力創造共融空間，讓不 同能力人士均可以一同欣賞、參與、擁抱藝術。

香港藝術節為創造更穩健的財政環境以及確保藝術節的長期 可持續性，於 2022 年成立香港藝術節基金會，旨在讓藝術 節得以在未來進行年度預算以外的大型特別項目 。

Bausch, Richard III and The Tempest produced by The Old Vic, BAM and Neal Street under “The Bridge Project” with HKAF as a co-commissioning institution, Green Snake co-commissioned with Shanghai International Arts Festival, and Dream of the Red Chamber co-produced with San Francisco Opera.

The HKAF invests heavily in arts education for young people. Over the past 30 years, our “Young Friends” scheme has reached over 810,000 local secondary and tertiary school students. A variety of arts education projects serving primary, secondary, and tertiary school students have been launched in recent years, featuring activities such as student showcases, pre-performance talks, open rehearsals, opportunities to attend Festival performances, as well as in-school workshops and lecture demonstrations led by international and local artists. Donations to the “Student Ticket Scheme” also make available approximately 10,000 half-price student tickets each year.

The HKAF organises a diverse range of “Festival PLUS” activities in community locations each year to enhance engagement between artists and audiences. These include films, lecture demonstrations, masterclasses, workshops, symposia, backstage visits, exhibitions, meet-the-artist sessions, and guided cultural tours.

The HKAF actively promotes inclusiveness and understanding via the arts to every corner of the community. The “No Limits” project, co-presented with The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, was launched in 2019. Through a series of performances and diverse arts experiences for students and the community, “No Limits” strives to create an inclusive space for people with different abilities to share the joy of the arts together.

The HKAF officially launched the Hong Kong Arts Festival Foundation in 2022 to provide greater financial security and longterm sustainability for the Festival. Donations to the Foundation will help the Festival to present large-scale projects which its annual budget cannot cater for.

「狂」對 於 我 來 說 是 一 種 年 少 輕狂，而「狂人派對」則是一 個空間，讓一班年少輕狂的人 們去追尋那或許是不切實際的 夢。 我 相 信 每 個 人 都 遇 過 很 多很多的低谷、很多很多的挫 折，但是「狂人」們就算是摔 到支離破碎，他們也會將自己 重新組合起來，再繼續前進 。 反而每次破碎重組的過程中， 我 們 都 會 變 得 越 來 越 堅 強、 越來越享受每個人生階段的輪 迴。 蘇 軾 在《江 城 子》 中 寫 道：「老 夫 聊 發 少 年 狂， 左 牽 黄，右擎蒼，錦帽貂裘，千騎 卷平岡」。我們這一代人沒有經 歷過戰爭，但我們面對的社會 的殘酷，卻同樣撕心裂肺 。我 們失去的也許不是生命，但是 失去「狂」卻是我認為在當下 更讓人絕望的 。

這次我在香港找到七位極具個 人特色的舞者一同創作這部作 品——他們的很多故事都讓我很 有感觸 。他們每個人對於「狂」 都有很獨特的看法與思考，而 這 些 思 考 也 讓 這 次 的「派 對」 有了更多的意義 。這次也是我 第一次與陳泰然進行合作——他 是一名年輕的香港導演，也是 這部作品的戲劇構作 。我們相 仿的年紀讓我們有共同的思考 模式，希望可以用一個獨特有 趣的方式結合舞蹈與戲劇，讓 兩者碰撞出一個嶄新的可能性。 最後感謝所有台前幕後的設計 師與製作團隊，更加要感謝香 港藝術節的信任與巨大的支持。 歡迎加入今晚的「狂人派對」！ 毛維

I'm excited to see everyone here, as we are about to enter the world of Dance Me to the End of Night.

bring forth new possibilities by combining elements from both choreography and drama in an unprecedented way.

To me, the unruliness embodied

by Dance Me to the End of Night is all about a kind of youthful riot, in which self-indulgent, boisterous young people go after dreams that can be seen as unrealistic. I believe all of us have experienced countless low points and setbacks, but “the unruly” will always pull themselves together and move on even after being shattered. The process of rebuilding ourselves only make us stronger and more capable to enjoy the changing phases in life.

As the Song dynasty writer Su Shi wrote in one of his poems: “This old boy likes to get wild and play young. A retriever by my left, a falcon on my right. In coats of fur and hats of brocade we ride. Thousands of hoofbeats run down the hills.” Our generation has never experienced war, but we have battled against harsh societal conditions in life. Our lives may not be hanging by a thread, but the loss of such “unruliness” can cause equal, if not more, despair.

Finally, I would like to thank the production crew and designers of the show. I am also most grateful for the Hong Kong Arts Festival's immense support and trust.

For this project, I managed to assemble seven dancers with varied styles. I am touched by many of their stories. Their unique takes on “unruliness” informed the revelry, making it more meaningful. It's also my first collaboration with Chan Tai-yin, the emerging Hong Kong director. Sharing a similar age also means sharing similar views and outlooks on life. Hopefully we are able to 14

毛維畢業於廣州市藝術學校， 並以全額獎學金畢業於香港 演 藝 學 院。 他 是 MW Dance Theatre 的創辦人兼藝術總監 。 過去幾年，他專注身體的研究 並將之運用在創作當中，力求 尋找一種專屬於自己的風格 。 他 於 2021-22 年 受 聘 於 韓 國 國 立藝術大學舞蹈學校，任職客 席教授。

他曾獲邀到世界各地的藝術節 演出自己的作品，包括《原》、 《地 圖》、《當 打 之 年》 及《賞 味期限》等。他又獲香港藝術 中 心 邀 請， 與 比 利 時 藝 術 團 體 ERSATZ 共 同 創 作《洞 穴 爆 發 ． 奇 異 毛 球》， 並 應 香 港 藝 術節之邀與意大利藝術家阿歷 山度．沙朗尼合創《明天你還 愛我嗎 ？》（香港版），並與英 國藝術家約斯 ．貝克合作創作 《火滅》。 毛 維 得 到 西 九 文 化 區 邀 請， 到西班牙進行為期三年的文化

Mao Wei is a Guangzhou Arts School graduate and holder of a full scholarship from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He is the co-founder and Artistic Director of MW Dance Theatre. In recent years, his focus has been on developing a personal style, with an emphasis on the exploration of the human body. He taught at the School of Dance, Korea National University of Arts, from 2021-22 as Visiting Professor.

His works, including Natural Person, Mapping, The Formidable Year and Shelf Life, have been performed at arts festivals all around the world. He was invited by the Hong Kong Arts Centre to create Les Curious Fringes—Blast

of the Cave, in collaboration with Belgian artist collective ERSATZ. He was also commissioned by the Hong Kong Arts Festival to co-create the Hong Kong version of Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow? with Italian artist Alessandro Sciarroni. He also collaborated with British artist Jos Baker in creating Put Out the Flame.

On the invitation of West Kowloon Cultural District, Mao joined its three-year cultural exchange programme in Spain, during which he created From The Deep inside, a work he later performed in Hong Kong. In 2022, he was invited by City Contemporary Dance Company to perform at HOTPOT East Asia Dance Platform in Seoul.

When he mentioned this idea of creating a show around how people’s lust for life starts to shift after a certain age, I was really intrigued to see how the beauty of such raw energy could play out in dance, especially when its beauty is inseparable from the failure that comes with it. Chan Tai-yin is a performing arts practitioner who specialises in theatre. His recent directorial works include In the Penal Paradise, The Plague, Invisible, Please, Continue (Hamlet), £¥€$ (LIES), Night Just Before the Forests and Disco Pigs.

Chan aims to put performers and the art of acting at the heart of his works. To Chan, a sound understanding of the text as well as the malleability of formal aesthetics in theatrical arts are crucial to his creations. Through his works, he aims to respond to contemporary imagination of consciousness and mind.

三十過後 狂舞無悔 A Madman’s Rave

個人情感是私密的，但某些心理狀態卻能互通 。獨立舞蹈人毛維，曾經以舞蹈劇場《當打之年》探討 面對三十歲關口，那種堅強背後的脆弱；如今三十有二，他走過連番人生低潮，掙脫一身荊棘，以新 作《狂人派對》以狂為題，給自己帶來一場重生的浴火，而「狂」並非指狂妄傲慢，而是一種無可再 輸、搏盡無悔的覺悟 。

Our personal feelings are among our most private possessions, but some states of mind are shared. Mao Wei, an independent dance artist, explored the vulnerability that lies beneath a strong façade with the dance theatre performance The Formidable Year, when he reached 30. Now at the prime age of 32, Mao, who has triumphed over some dark days in life, rises from the ashes with his new production, Dance Me to the End of Night, a creation infused with madness and featuring performers who dance like no one’s watching. Such madness does not stem from arrogance, but instead from an awareness that there is nothing left to lose, and the fight must go on. 千帆過盡 重新啟航

毛維自小精於中國舞，十七、 八歲時憑全額獎學金由湖南來 港，於香港演藝學院主修現代 舞 及 編 舞， 畢 業 後 在 香 港 發 展， 由 舞 者 慢 慢 成 為 編 舞 。 看似一帆風順，但人生總是無 常：近年他經歷婚姻觸礁、事 業挫敗，加上一位他很敬重的 前輩離世——谷底裏，他只剩下 跳舞，每當獨自在排舞室內隨 機播放音樂起舞，他才感覺到 自己活着。 這些經歷啟發了他創作舞蹈劇 ：「『狂』不 是 場《狂 人 派 對》 說狂妄，而是沒甚麼可再輸， 衝過去吧」。

狂人之舞，伴隨着憤怒的情緒 與狂暴的動作 。以往毛維的舞 蹈曾被形容為「暴力美學」，例 如以往的表演中，舞者會被猛 烈拉扯頭髮，又曾出現兩個舞 者撕咬一塊血淋淋的生豬肉， 「觀眾看起來我們像快死，但其 實是沒事的 。這過程的重點不 是暴力，而是真實的反應 。我 要刺激觀眾視覺，他們才會思 考『爲甚麽』，我會用一種好真 實而殘酷的方式，激發人思考 真實情況」。

Sail again after a thousand journeys Trained in Chinese dance from childhood, Mao Wei came to Hong Kong from Hunan at the age of 18 on a full scholarship to study contemporary dance and choreography at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Upon graduation, he launched his career in Hong Kong, evolving from a dancer into a choreographer. Despite a smooth start to a flourishing career, his life took an unexpected turn in recent years.

With his marriage on the rocks and his career hitting a low point, his frustrations were made even worse by the sudden passing of a well-respected mentor. After hitting rock bottom, all Mao had left was dance, and he only felt alive when he was dancing impromptu to music, alone in the studio.

These experiences inspired him to create Dance Me to the End of Night. “This sense of ‘madness’ in itself does not mean arrogance, but that when there is nothing left to lose.”

Dance theatre is, after all, something new for Mao. He thinks less about whether each dancer portrays a role in Dance Me to the End of Night and more about how they express their state of mind purely with their bodies. “Words are too concrete.

The charm of dance lies in the expression of sentiments, not with words, but with movements that generate meaning. This way, the audience can feel the emotional transformation experienced by each character through physical movements.”

Although there are seven dancers in Dance Me to the End of Night, the madman always ends up

alone. Mao confesses that at the end of the day, he was motivated by a desire to prove to others that “I can still make it", which is why this dance is ultimately a one-man party.

Face the brutality of reality through aestheticising violence The dance of the madman is accompanied by raging fury and forceful moves. Mao’s dancing was once described as “aestheticising violence”— for example, a dancer’s hair was pulled in one performance, and two dancers once bit into a bloody slab of pork and tore it to pieces on stage. “From the audience’s perspective, we

seemed to be standing on the verge of death, but we were fine.

The point of such processes is not violence, but [provoking] real reactions. I must provoke the audience visually to make them contemplate why. I resort to real and brutal ways to stimulate people’s thoughts about the real situation.”

Chan Tai-yin was appointed dramaturge for this dance theatre production. Knowing that not all audience members have been through ups and downs like Mao led him to ponder whether Chan would be in Mao’s shoes in another life, among the myriad possibilities in parallel universes?

“What’s the connection between the difficulties in people’s marriages and the real world?

Those difficulties not only concern the two of them, but the entire society. It’s all about how the modern way of living stresses us out,” says Chan. To him, reaching the age of 30 is merely symbolic—what’s more important is how creative people can tap into the social conditions that lie beneath the surface.

張景喻畢業於香港演藝學院， 主修現代舞。她於 2020 至 2022 期間曾任城市當代舞蹈團舞 者。除現代舞專業培訓外，她 亦接受了不同舞種訓練，包括 嘻哈舞、爵士舞、芭蕾舞和中 國舞，並為各類型演唱會及音 樂影片作演出和編舞 。在就讀 演藝學院期間獲多項獎學金， 包 括「葛 量 洪 獎 學 金 2018 」、 「香港特別行政區政府獎學基金 （外 展 體 驗 獎）18/19 」、「張 學 友獎學金 18/19 」和「舞蹈學院 獎學金 19/20 」，並獲獎學金到 法國、西班牙作學習和交流 。 張景喻亦曾與多位知名編舞家 合作，當中包括黎海寧、克里 斯 蒂 娜． 麥 珊 尼、 郭 瑞 文、 域．盧甸及麥麗娜等 。

Cheung King-yu graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring 24

in Contemporary Dance. She was a dancer with the City Contemporary Dance Company from 2020-22. Trained in hiphop, jazz, ballet, and Chinese dance, Cheung has performed and choreographed for numerous concerts and music videos. During her time at the Academy, she was awarded various scholarships, including a Grantham Scholarship in 2018, the HKSAR Government Fund’s Reaching Out Awards 2018/19, the Jacky Cheung Scholarship 2018/19 and the Contemporary Dance Faculty Scholarship 2019/20. She has worked with a number of acclaimed choreographers such as Helen Lai, Christina Mertzani, Kuik Swee Boon, Rick Nodine and Lelia McMillan.

Kenneth Hui Ka-chun is a dance artist and creator working in multiple disciplines. In 2014, Hui completed his professional dance training at The Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts with First-Class Honours.

After graduation, Hui started

own path in an unknown landscape.

his professional career with the Hong Kong Ballet. Later, he joined the Danish Dance Theater (Denmark) and Mainfranken Theater Würzburg (Germany).

Back in Hong Kong since 2020, he has been working as a freelance performer, choreographer, dance video director and photographer. His recent work includes Beyond the Veil (2021) and Me, a Man, a video exhibition commissioned by the City Contemporary Dance Company (2021). Hui received his Master’s degree in Cultural Management from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2022.

Keung was born and raised in Hong Kong, then transferred from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts to the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in the UK in 2019 and graduated with First-Class Honours.

姜凱翎

Stephanie Keung Hoi-ling 舞者

姜凱翎名字中的「凱」字意指 凱旋歸來，寓意她在未知領域 裏堅定地開墾自己的道路。

她於香港土生土長，在 2019 年 從香港演藝學院轉讀北方現代 舞學院，並以一級榮譽畢業。

2022 年， 姜 凱 翎 自 薩 爾 斯 堡 實驗舞蹈學院畢業，表演由約 斯 ．貝克構思及導演的《火滅》 中的單人選段，為學院生涯暫 時畫上句號 。她亦曾作特定場 合的單人表演，於法國南部的 Bas Cros 工作室作為客席藝術 家演出 。歐洲之行後，她的研 究 項 目《 206 之 54 》獲 選 加 入 香港藝術中心為期四個月的駐 場藝術家計劃 。

She graduated again from the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance in 2022 and performed a solo excerpt from Put Out The Flame, conceived and directed by Jos Baker, as the ending note for her studying journal for now.

She also performed some sitespecific solos at the L’atelier du Bas Cros in southern France as an invited guest artist. To finish off her Europe journey, her on-going research project “54 of 206” was awarded a four-month research residency at the Hong Kong Arts Centre.

The Cantonese word “Hoi” in Keung Hoi-ling’s name means “triumph returns”, which also describes her unswerving determination to carve her 25

Scholarship and the Second Chance Scholarship. She also received a scholarship from the City Contemporary Dance Company to join the Beijing Dance Festival. She won a Gold Award at the 46th Hong Kong Open Dance Contest and passed the ballet examination (Advanced 2) at the Royal Academy of Dance in London.

He joined the City Contemporary Dance Company in 2016, and later other organisations such as Dance Drama Hong Kong and TS CREW. He has collaborated with artists such as Ismael Ivo, Daniel Yeung, Mao Wei and Yang Hao. He represented the Hong Kong and Macau Governments in cultural exchange programmes in New York and Lisbon. In 2019, he was invited to choreograph Struck for On Site at the Macao Arts Festival. The work was later recorded on video and screened at HKArtsFestival@ TaiKwun. In 2021, Li worked with Hung Keung to create and perform Walk for It All Begins with a Word, co-hosted by the Hong Kong Library Festival and the New Vision Arts Festival.

Li was awarded first runner-up at the HKLACUP Professional Invitation Contest in 2022. He now teaches at the HKAPA as a Visiting Professor and Caritas Ma On Shan Secondary School as dance teacher.

近年專研舞蹈攝影並成立 Labora-Terry Arts，以舞蹈視覺 捕捉身體瞬間，同時藉由鏡頭 返照自身的舞蹈創作，重新展 開對身體的探索與叩問。

Terry Tsang King-fai was nominated in the categories of Outstanding Performance by Male Dancer in 2019 and Tom Brown Emerging Choreographer in 2022 at the Hong Kong Dance Awards. After premiering his signature work Mo Ngaan Tai in 2019, he received invitations from two local festivals, and overseas festivals in Italy and Taiwan.

After graduating from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Contemporary Dance, Tsang served as a fulltime dancer with the City Contemporary Dance Company from 2013-19. With the company, he toured different countries and regions, while also remaining active locally.

Recently he established LaboraTerry Arts, specialising in dance photography. Intensifying his exploration of creation and the human body, his choreography and photography have served as inspiration for each other.

Ainsley So is a graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London.

Lawmanray 燈光設計

Lighting Designer

羅文偉畢業於香港演藝學院， 主修燈光設計及劇場導演 。他 於 2017 年加入城市當代舞蹈團 擔任駐團燈光設計師，多年來 參與大量劇場創作，並涉獵劇 場編導、燈光設計、舞台設計 和錄像設計。

Lawmanray (Raymond Law) graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Lighting Design.

He is now studying for his Master’s in Theatre Directing at the HKAPA. Law joined the City Contemporary Dance Company as Resident Lighting Designer in 2017. He has participated in theatre art for many years, and has served as a director of lighting design, set design and video design.

His recent appointments as music director and composer led to him creating original film scores for the Hong Kong feature films Ciao UFO (2019), Coffin Homes (2021) and Over My Dead Body (2023).

崔 展 鴻 曾 為 慈 山 寺、Boston ALEA III 室樂團及香港芭蕾舞 團《香港酷——悟了個空》撰寫 原創音樂。近年積極參與電影 配樂製作，曾為芬蘭導演米卡 ‧ 考 里 斯 麥 基 電 影《程 大 師》 (2019) 監製片尾曲。其配樂作 品 包 括《再 見 UFO 》(2019) 及 陳果電影《鬼同你住》(2021)。

Tsui has performed his original works at EUROPAfest and various Asian music festivals. Besides leading his own group, he has performed with many renowned artists including Coco Lee, Kay Tse, Ivana Wong and Jude Chiu.

He majored in Composition at the Berklee College of Music, where he was admitted on a scholarship.

曾 獲 邀 參 加 EUROPAfest 及 多 個亞洲音樂節，演奏其個人原 創作品，同時活躍於流行音樂 製作及演出 。

演出並遠赴泰國和廣州作文化 交流表演。2008 年開始接觸舞 台工作，並在 2017 至 2019 年任 職城市當代舞蹈團舞台監督 。 現為自由身的舞台工作者 。曾 合作團體包括彭秀慧製作、大 館，W 創 作 社、 䓤 動 派、 香 港 舞蹈聯盟和城市當代舞蹈團等。

From 2003-08, Jason Ma participated in the WuDaoQingNian programme organised by the City Contemporary Dance Company several times.

During the programme, he performed in various corners of the community and went on cultural exchanges in Thailand and Guangzhou.

In 2008, he began engaging with stage work and entered the performing arts industry.

From 2017-19, he was the Stage Manager of the CCDC, and he is now a freelance stage worker. He has collaborated with organisations such as Kearen Pang Production, Tai Kwun, W Theatre, Greensco, the Hong Kong Dance Alliance, the CCDC, the CCDC Dance Centre, Unlock Dancing Plaza, McMuiMui Dansemble, Siu Lung Fung Dance Theater, and the Little Trout Children’s Choir.
