Two days later, Beyoncés parents died hiking on an erupting volcano. Beyoncé was forced to live with her aunt who was overwhelmed with the idea of having a child to raise, so she brought her into the nearby jungle, and left her all alone.

A long time ago a girl with a special talent was brought into this world by two loving parents. They named her Beyoncé, and she was the center of their world.

Baby Beyoncé was taken care of by all the animals in the jungle. The monkeys fed her bananas, fish were found in the river, berries were gathered, and the parrots taught her all the english that they picked up. Beyoncé grew up strong and healthy, raised by the creatures of nature.

The only person she knew of was the mysterious king that lived on top of the mountain. He would come down into the jungle for his monthly walk, checking in with Beyoncé on the way. It was fifteen years before she met another human.

Two hikers, lost in the jungle, stumbled upon the girl in a tree. They were looking for directions and they were lucky they found her. Beyonce knew the jungle like the back of her hand and she waited her whole life to be able to show someone. She knew all about people from the parrots. When the hikers found out that Beyoncé didn't live in a normal civilization they forced her out of the jungle. She tried to convince them that she was perfectly fine with the animals but they would not let her stay. She left that day packing up her only belongings of a green grass skirt and a carved coconut container that held a compass and a photo of her mother. After three hours of navigating through the thick lush forest, they popped out somewhere Beyonce had never seen, a parking lot with pavement and painted lines. Things she had only dreamed of, she was hit in the face with a wall of confusion. Curiosity filled her body. She got into the strange machine known as “a car” and they drove off into the city. Beyoncé woke up in a new world.

Just in that moment, the king happened to walking by. He agreed with the hikers that she should get out and see the world, but he gave her a magic snow globe before he left. He told her that if she shook the snow globe at any time that it would bring her back home.

She got into the strange machine known as “a car” and they drove off into the city. Beyoncé woke up in a new world.

Beyoncé struggled to take in all the new elements of life she saw that have she had never been exposed to. Buildings, people, trains, taxis, stores, lights, everything was new. She struggled talking to people considering the only English she knew was taught from a parrot.

When she returned to her new home with her new family and got in her first real shower, the hikers noticed something peculiar. She was humming a beautiful tune they had never heard. It sounded like an angel singing a bird call. Later that night the hikers asked her where she learned to sing like that and she told them she would sing along with all of the birds in the jungle. They were in awe. They thought that other people must hear this strange girl sing.

While walking around a park, everyone was looking at her very odd. She was not used to being judged like this. Beyoncé was only wearing a dress she made of woven ferns, bamboo sandals, and a flower in her hair. This was all she knew. Beyonce went for another walk in the park the next day and she felt something that was not quite right. Two men were fighting and she wanted them to stop. A bird flew overhead, and it reminded her of home. She began to sing along with the bird following its unsteady rhythm, changing with the wind. The men stood still for a minute. Beyoncés voice was the most exquisite voice they had ever heard. People from all over the park walked over to see what the large gathering of people surrounding Beyoncé was.

Beyoncé ran away as soon as the crowd got too big. It was overwhelming. She went from going 15 years only seeing one person, to one day having hundreds of people looking at her. She fled to the first place she found, the NY soup kitchen.

“What is this place?” Beyoncé asked. “Hungry people come to eat here.” Beyoncé was once again confused. “My monkey feeds me when I'm hungry.” Everyone sitting at Beyoncés table roared with laughter. She smiled because everyone else's happiness was contagious.

Beyoncé scampered in crying with her eyes full of tears. Two men and a girl Beyoncés age walked towards her. They asked her if she wanted some lunch, but Beyoncé shook her head. She looked up and noticed the rows of tables and people eating at them.

Someone on the other end of the room who had clearly been listening to Beyoncé yelled, “sing something!” Everyone in the room looked at Beyoncé. She had never felt more nervous, until the little bird flew by the window. Beyoncé started to hum a tune, then it turned into a perfect song. Mouths dropped to the floor, nobody expected this little girl to have such a booming voice.

They couldn't believe what they were hearing. When Beyoncé finished her song, the room gave her a standing ovation. The people in the room had never been happier. Beyoncé smiled, too

The small soup kitchen had never had more positive vibes in its existence. Before everyone left, they thanked Beyoncé and the owner gave her enough bananas to last her a year! She walked back into the streets of the city feeling a thousand times better than before.

She ventured back to the park to find the crowd of people that she ran away from and apologize.

Beyoncé didn't know why people enjoyed her singing so much but wanted to use this special gift to make others feel better. Instead of Beyoncé finding the two men she stumbled upon a lost child.

The child was scared and didn't know what to do. Beyoncé, thought back to a few minutes ago about how her voice could enhance peoples moods.

Right when Beyoncé thought the mother of the child was going to thank her, instead she opened her mouth and song came out. Perfectly in tune with Beyonce the two of them began to stoll around the park chanting the voices of the forest.

She began to sing a lullaby mimicking the sounds of the birds from the jungle. Instantly, the child stopping crying. He looked up, and saw his mom, “wow that worked fast!” Thought Beyoncé.

Then people started joining in, adding beats and lyrics here and there. The blob of people were skipping around the entire park picking up everybody that they passed.

People that were sad were no longer sad when they heard the musical crowd. Beyonce began to feel like she was going to like this new world. She no longer felt that everybody here was mean and judging. Every week she would come to the park and sing for people, and every week the lucky people that heard the voice of Beyoncé were positively affected by her powerful voice.

Months passed and Beyoncé began to miss her family in the wild more than ever. Then she remembered the snow globe that the king of the mountain gave her.

She left her new parents a note and shook the snow globe but nothing happened. She realized that this is home now. This city is where she belongs.
