It was a dark and gloomy night in the medieval town of Guttifer. Knights were off at battle, leaving peasants and monks wandering around the gloomy castle.

This particular night, Sir Isaac Francis IV was born. People from all around came to see the new prince, making it an incredible night of festivities and feasts.

I declare you a knight!

The Journey took days on end until the men finally set up camp and began to prepare for battle. The thousands of men began to collect precious supplies needed for the many months to come. Weapons needed to be built and strategies had to be developed.

It wasn’t until fifteen years later when the time would come to put his years of hard work to the test. The colony was on the bridge of war against another castle, fighting for precious land and resources. This was the first time Prince Francis would leave his home, venturing out into unknown land.

It was here where Prince Francis would first meet Brom, an old sergeant brought along to take care of the King. Once a mighty soldier, he had grown too old to fight for the castle. He taught the Prince for days on end everything he knew, giving him important information on how to survive.

In these few weeks leading up to battle, soldiers were put up to the test of holding it together. Weak warriors would crumble under the heat and many tasks at hand. The many years of training served well for Prince Francis, causing him to rise above and make a statement.

Fire!

I declare war!

From beginning to end, the war lasted several months. Prince Francis served as a leader for the shaken soldiers, leading them each and every day into battle. He was a hero to his men, guiding the town of Guttifer to victory. If it wasn't for hard work, the result of the war could have been totally different.

After months on end of hard work, the day finally came. The fate of the town was in the hands of the soldiers. If they succeeded in defeating their opponents, their town would flourish with fertile land. Yet, if they were defeated, womEn and children would be taken from their village, leaving lost soldiers with nothing but themselves. The king declared war and ordered the men to prepare themselves for battle.

Although many lives were taken, the soldier’s hard work paid off. They celebrated for days without rest, with this particular victory being as important as ever. The townspeople loved them, knowing this particular war was crucial to their survival.

A feast was brought together for the whole town, and everyone came together one last time to honor the brave soldiers. In the midst of celebration, Prince Francis was once again confronted by Brom, the sergeant from battle. He congratulated him for his defeat, but the prince knew he wouldn’t have been able to do it without the help of Brom.

My Honor

The king was proud of his son’s success, and congratulated him with a sword from his own father, the past king. He knew every soldier who stepped onto the battlefield was a hero, including his son.
