A Message from the Directors:

Let Energy be Thy Medicine

3

Energy Medicine is the theme of this edition. This encompasses everything from what our oldest ancestors knew (sun healing) to the modern technologies we have used here on campus for the last 45 years. Everything we see as solid is born from frequencies, vibration, and energy. The terms that physics put this gathering in are molecules, atoms, protons, and neutrons. Since now describing all structures, including your body, think about how odd it is that modern medical technologies do not utilize the very parts that make you whole.

When I, Brian, lived in Europe in the 1970s, I was first introduced to progressive, open-minded physicians who diagnosed and treated people with the frequency technologies of the day. Although they were primitive compared to the twenty-first-century versions, I witnessed remarkable recoveries derived from these non-physical beams, time and again. Allopathic medicine, in the most critical times (for example, when someone has a heart attack), surrenders to the fact that we have energetic bodies that can be restarted with two high-voltage probes placed on our chest, jolting our electrical system back into action. Magnetic resonant imagery (MRI) is another example of how physicians diagnostically probe the internal body, measuring the magnetic frequencies exuding from your cells.

Today's advanced science on protonic energy manipulation has given us the comprehensive ability to help the entirety of the body's systems reregulate and function in the way they are meant to. Our newest addition, called Tesla, coordinates the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems, which govern the universal body. It provides outlets to combine its powerful balancing ability with other brain-related frequency treatments. Ultimately, when achieving this reignition of the neurons, the naturally occurring domino effect switches on positive hormonal chemistries, and immune system cells bathe the body in normality.

BrainTap and NuCalm help to reroute renegade thought and mind patterns so that a sense of calm comes over the person and reins normal functioning messaging. We predict that future medicine will be based upon the elements that make you your very self. Although chemistry can work in a localized way for a short period of time, the epidemy of treatment protocols that permanently change everything are those that reregulate the extraordinary balance that nature creates via the energetic fields from the earth, universe, and our own internal body.

Q: What is the key to losing post-menopausal weight gain? - Claire Pavlinec from France

A: Science has finally conducted the necessary research to unveil the importance and effect of metabolism. We know that our primal ancestors versus our agrarian forbearers and current people function in uniquely different ways. Today, with the virtual absence of breastfeeding, "Forever Chemicals" saturating our bodies, and stress loads worse than when dinosaurs would chase us, our bodies receive cross messages from our hormones and stack on the pounds, originally meant for energy to help us run for our lives. We must all adopt a clean, constructive Hippocrates Lifestyle, and problems will release. Anna Maria Clement

Q: Is cacao actually healthy? 50% of the best and most trusted health leaders say "yes," and 50% say "no." It is touted for its antioxidants and magnesium but also demonized for being a neurotoxin and health-destroyer. Could you let me know which is correct? - Jendria from Alabama

A: Cocoa, the bean you use to make chocolate, contains not only caffeine but also Anandamide, a psychoactive substance. Biochemically, it also increases acidity levels within the blood, which can activate inflammatory reactions. For this reason, we discourage the use of this recreational substance. If one is unwilling to abandon chocolate consumption, taking raw cacao is certainly a temporary better choice. Anna Maria Clement

Q: How does the Hippocrates Diet fulfill the body's need for Omega-3 fatty acids, necessary for healthy brain function? - Veronica Cooper from Manchester

A: Unlike most plant-based diets, which encourage the consumption of common vegetables or fruits, the Hippocrates omega-rich foods fulfill this need more than any other plan on earth. All seeds, nuts, grains, and beans in their organic raw state contain oils. When germinated, those oils become usable Omega 3(s) 6(s) 9(s). One's knowledge about the particular seed would determine which offers the favorite Omega 3's. Walnuts are a great example of this, as well as seeds and freshwater algae. As a matter of fact, the latter is the only food that people may consume that has essential fats identical to those that construct the brain. Brian Clement

Q: How do I prevent bloating on a plant-based diet?Michelle Black from New Zealand

A: Most of us do not masticate—chew our food well enough. Saliva is actually enzymes that break proteins into amino acids, carbohydrates into simple sugars, and healthy fats into essential fatty acids. When transitioning from a poor diet, you must also consider that the body requires time to begin functioning the way it was meant to before you filled it with junk food, flesh, and milk from another species. For the average

person, it is one year, for those who have been real abusers, up to three years. Digestive enzymes like Lifegive HHIzymes (Digestive Enzymes) will help reduce bloating and gas and the length of time it will take you and your body to regulate. Anna Maria Clement

Q: When getting people to go plant-based and Vegan, they really need to have an epiphany or lightbulb moment in their consciousness. How would you go about inducing this kind of response? - Crisler Hamilton from Orlando

A: First, you must realize that, not unlike any other addiction, is that you are often controlled by the sugars and fats in the nonfoods that you, and most, consume. If you lean cerebrally, all it will take is to look at the data on disease, mortality, and the extraordinary effects healthy food consumption offers for reversing and preventing disease and slowing the premature aging processes. When ecologically minded, you just have to look at the devastating effect that animal food production and consumption have regarding greenhouse gasses. When spiritually minded, you should deeply consider the heart-breaking impact that slaughtering fellow creatures has on your and others' consciousness. All of these definitive examples should be enough for any thinking person not to partake in a death-creating diet. Anna Maria Clement

Q: How do you figure out what supplements (besides B12) to take when eating a plant-based diet? Do you recommend doing yearly blood work to see your levels? - Heather Hemmingway from London

A: Your first question should be, how did I survive at all lacking the nutrients that a Western animal-based diet affords? When consuming a clean, greatly uncooked, green-emphasized cuisine, you are allowing the body to receive the highest level of nutrition available in nature. Meat, fish, and dairy consumers, as well as plant-based eaters, no longer have the gastrointestinal anatomy to produce the bacteria we call B12, so this is the one supplement that every child, woman, and man needs to take and in its living bacterial form as a supplement. The entire global population most often lacks vitamin D, which is not a vitamin but a hormone and one that should be considered taking in the form that Hippocrates produces called Lifegive Sun D, which is made from a living vine. When economics are not a determent, there are many other supplements like algae, pollen, and ionic minerals that one may consider, not due to deficiencies or your diet, but for the expeditious purpose of gaining greater vitality. Brian Clement

Q: What are the best foods to eat to gain muscle at the age of 65 and up? - David White from Virgina

A: After the ripe young age of 50, even the healthiest people increase their inability to absorb proteins. This is why the digestible forms that plants provide are the only viable option. When people maintain the Hippocrates Diet, we do not see this as a problem since this is the highest absorbable protein diet on earth. As a bodybuilder, I ensure in my 70s that I consume more of these protein foods than I would have in my 60s, 50s, and 40s. Sprouts, fresh saltwater algae, pollens, and some clean protein plant powders, like Lifegive, are ways to grow muscle. It has been proven that at 100, you develop muscle the same as at 18 with less hormone activity. It is just harder to maintain it. This is more evidence of the essential importance of weightlifting forever. Brian Clement

Emotions are Energy in Motion. We Can Harness Them

There is a profound truth in our understanding of the universe - everything is made up of energy. This statement seems to be rooted in the principles of Physics, Psychology, and Spirituality.

Energy is the essence of life.

Physics today accepts that all matter is ultimately energy. It is energy when the electrons dance around the atomic nuclei, when the planets go around the sun, or when our solar system is darting through our galaxy and the universe itself is expanding beyond space and time. Energy is also connected to the intangible realms of thought, emotions, and consciousness.

Emotions are potential energy.

Emotions can be understood as complex psychological and physiological responses to the stimuli coming from inside or outside of us. They are reactions that we experience in response to events or situations. What type of emotion we experience is determined by the circumstance that triggers the emotion – we experience joy when we receive good news and fear when we are threatened. The American Psychological Association website explains: “Emotions are conscious mental reactions (such as anger or fear) subjectively experienced as strong feelings, usually directed toward a specific object, and typically accompanied by physiological and behavioral changes in the body.” Emotions can manifest in various forms, from joy and love to anger and sadness, depending on how our feelings interpret them. Emotions send psychological energy outward as they influence our thoughts, and actions.

Consciousness moves the energy.

In the realm of spirituality and consciousness, the concepts of qi, prana, ruha, or life force are seen as spiritual energy connecting us within, with each other, and with the universe around us. Qi is often explained in Traditional Chinese Medicine as the underlying energy that flows through all living things, connecting and animating everything in the universe. It sustains life and promotes balance. In yoga, Ayurveda, and Indian martial arts, prana is an energy that permeates reality on all levels, including inanimate objects. This mystical energy moves through our bodies and animates our every action within and around us. Ruah is the Hebrew word translated as God's Spirit. It is also translated as breath, air, and wind in the Scriptures, reminding us of the dynamic energy of God in the universe.

Emotions influence our perceptions and actions.

Emotional wellness is fundamental to the wellness of the whole person. Lack of emotional wellness can block the healing process and thus compromise one’s health. This is why the Hippocrates Wellness Programs emphasize the emotional aspect. Among the five fundamental aspects are – the physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual.

The psychotherapists and other practitioners at HW are aware of the need to help our guests to detox from their negative emotions, and nourish them with positive emotions. It is obvious to anyone that positive emotions like happiness, excitement, joy, hope, and inspiration are vital for anyone who wants to lead a happy and healthy life. However, it is also true that many people are unable to experience them because negative emotions like anger, fear, guilt, shame, anxiety, sadness, and the like hinder them.

11 | hippocrateswellness.org

Creating the environment for positive emotions.

The HW staff have often witnessed that when guests choose to change their lifestyle and start eating the healthy, nutrient-dense food, most of them start experiencing the detox. Similarly, when the guests start feeling some of the positive emotions such as joy, love, peace, gratitude, serenity, hope, interest, awe, inspiration, amusement, elevation, satisfaction, cheerfulness, surprise, confidence, relief, altruism, optimism, contentment, and even euphoria, they are also freeing themselves from negative emotions, which they express as releasing anxiety, sadness, anger, loneliness, jealousy, self-criticism, fear, rejection, hurt, guilt, or shame.

Self-awareness and emotional intelligence.

We can harness emotional energy by cultivating self-awareness and emotional intelligence through mindfulness practices like meditation and deep breathing techniques. These exercises help us to observe our emotions without judgment and to improve our ability to transform this energy from the sources of stress and discomfort into opportunities for growth. We can learn from our negative emotions, such as anger,

fear, and sadness, to understand our own limitations and help us improve our relationship with others around us. With awareness, we can choose not to lash out with anger and to use that energy to understand our own inner dynamics; similarly, we can honor our emotions of sadness or grief as an opportunity to seek support from our loved ones and to engage in self-care activities, which can nurture our wellbeing. An equally important approach is to cultivate positive emotions like joy, gratitude, compassion, and love because they are powerful sources of energy that uplift and inspire us to connect with others in meaningful ways. The energy of emotions can be positive or negative, depending on the way we choose to utilize them.

We can learn from this that emotions are not just fleeting states of mind; they are powerful sources of energy that can guide our thoughts, behaviors, and experiences.

Antony, a Licensed Psychotherapist, and a Pastoral Counselor, has worked with the Hippocrates Health Institute since 1994. Aligning with the unique needs of the Hippocrates guests, Antony has developed some effective therapeutic techniques, drawing inspiration from Eastern and Western holistic healing traditions. His unique approach integrates the knowledge and experience related to the fields of psychology, social work, philosophy, theology, and ministry. Antony's work is consistent with the Hippocrates Life Transformation Program because he helps our guests to "detox" (mentally, letting go of the past) using Regression Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing), and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and then to nourish their minds and spirits with confidence using Deep Relaxation Techniques, Creative Visualizations, Guided Imagery Meditations, Hypnosis, and Affirmations. He also records some of the relevant sessions for our guests' future use, which helps them have a continued connection to the Hippocrates Program.

EVAN PLOTKIN

BEATING MESOTHELIOMA, NATURALLY

In the late 1980s, my type-A Wall Street older brother, Oscar, had a burnout and visited the Hippocrates Wellness center in Florida. He kept raving about it and how it was a place to heal. By the early 90s, he had nudged me so much that I reluctantly went. I remember my first visit when I met a medical Doctor who was selfdiagnosed with prostate cancer and going through the program.

During class, he would have scientific debates with Brian Clement, co-director of Hippocrates, and I listened acutely. His resistance radically changed because after just a few weeks, his PSA number plummeted, and he began to feel better. He seemingly became a believer because we stayed in touch, and although other physicians told him he would be dead within six months, he's still here 25 years later.

It's not a miracle, It’s the Universe at work.

Feeling so good, I returned on many occasions feeling as if I was a healthy young man, and I was fortunate enough to take a little back home each time to improve my lifestyle. A smack in the mind and head hit me when, a few years ago, I visited a physician who suggested I see an oncologist who told me I had a rare form of Mesothelioma – which is usually lung cancer. However, in my case, it was splattered throughout my whole body.

When I returned to Hippocrates to make a decision, Brian strongly advised that I completely embrace the diet and lifestyle and make decisions based on my own heart from that point forward. My family and friends rallied around me like cheerleaders, saying I better do some kind of medical intervention. Being in New England, I had at my fingertips one of the top institutions in modern medicine in Boston. Doctors convinced me

15 | hippocrateswellness.org

that I had a fatal disease with no cure and that if I didn’t do something immediately, I may die.

I resisted at first but then decided to do the surgery, at least. When they opened me up from my throat to my intestines, I was riddled with this cancer. They extracted as much as possible. I became firmly committed to the enzyme-rich, plant-food diet and lifestyle and visited Hippocrates for the Comprehensive Cancer Wellness Program, where I learned much more than just practical tools.

They obviously wanted to test me periodically, and they first told me I was clear, then found something on my liver. Of course, they have a standard of practice and protocols, so they threw the whole array of choices at me: surgery, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy. The doctor that I was closest to suggested surgery would be too traumatic since I had recently endured a major form. I determined at that point that I was going to heal myself. My mindset and commitment to future life would carry me through this process. I buckled down and committed even more to dietary improvement.

When I went back to see the doctor six months later, they were shocked! They could not find any sign of cancer, and this is the way it has remained ever since. When I looked into why this may have happened – since I never worked in an industry typically aligned with mesothelioma – a lawyer told me, after I suggested that the only thing I could think about was talcum powder, that it was, in fact, most likely the cause. My father’s generation thought of talcum powder as an Elixir. He, my mother, and every other adult I knew as a child used this readily and abundantly. So, this is what I did when my skin became irritated, which was regularly from a poor lifestyle. I used it from my head to my toes. I now Realize that this product, which was called baby powder, that most people place on their infants from the time they are born, was a culprit for this and other cancers, like ovarian.

Thousands of people in the United States alone die every year from this. When I further spoke to Anna Maria and Brian Clement, they suggested the first scientific evidence of this was more than 40 years ago, but nothing was done until recently about it. Now, I am well. I am becoming stronger every day, and when I look at what I can accomplish with exercise, I am achieving exactly what I

did when I was 20 and will soon be 68! I also volunteer with a cancer group that gets together and talks about people they lost to cancer and people who are actively fighting the disease. I give them hope and spirit, but more importantly, I recognize the commitment to life and the responsibility to do what makes our lives better, which is what, ultimately, provokes long-term results. It is difficult for most people out in the world to go off the straight narrow line that they are heist on by the medical profession.

When the doctor looked at me and stated that he could not find cancer, he said to me that I would be dumb if I didn’t take one of his suggestions. I snapped back and said he may be dumb because he is not willing to listen to how I recovered from a disease that he, himself, and many others, call fatal. I hope that every single person reading this who is lost and confused and feels hopeless because the choices you have been given are narrow and problematic recognizes that there is another thing that you can do, A path that has been proven thousands and thousands of times at Hippocrates Wellness over the 70 years.

My hope for you is that your life can emerge into this fire of happiness, wellbeing, and confidence that mine has via the trauma of having a disease. The doctor told me, "This is a miracle." I responded, "No, you are just a fool."

EDWARD MEEGAN

RECOVERING FROM HONEYCOMB FIBROSIS

Smoking cigarettes until 1990, drinking until 1980, having three businesses, and working in sales had my stress levels at nearly 100%. As I aged slowly but surely in my 70s, my body collapsed. I lost 80 pounds, couldn't breathe, and was told by experts that there was nothing they could do. I finally visited the Mayo Clinic. They said, "There is no way to cure this. You have Honeycomb Fibrosis of the lungs. We will give you medicines." The meds ripped weight off my body. I rapidly lost 15 pounds, so I went to my local pulmonary doctor, who took me off them.

My lovely European wife, Ingrid, tends to be more natural since that’s how people think on the continent.

She had me visit Hippocrates Wellness, which I was certainly skeptical of. I like cannolis, double cheeseburgers, and everything I shouldn’t have had, but I said I would give it a try; I was fading. We entered the program in December two years ago and graduated on January 1st. What a New Year’s resolution to fully adapt to an organic plant-food diet. My cardiologist, another physician I deposited money with, was stunned at my recovery. He took me off the meds, and my lungs slowly but surely regained health. I know back in the 60s, chiropractors were about to be abolished, and they fought hard and successfully, and finally, the insurance companies began to pay for their services.

I used to just lay around depressed, but now I drive, I hang out with my buddies, my life is back, and it is fantastic. I asked my physicians why everyone doesn’t try this; they don’t say very much, but privately, my cardiologist tells other patients to do what Edward is doing.

During my program on campus, I met a young girl who reversed breast cancer. We talked at length about how we have to work at it to get the same thing done. Millions of people are suffering unnecessarily. Not only are they unwell, but they are dying prematurely. The cost of this is insurmountable. If they only took a fraction of what is being spent unsuccessfully on medications and ineffective treatments, they would actually be able to reverse this catastrophic trend. I know one thing: you are what you eat; I am an example of that. Now, at 80 years old, it seems every single month I’ve become healthier, clearer, more focused, and stronger. I am going to shout out at the top of every single mountain until more and more people hear this and hopefully have the will and the wherewithal to heal themselves as I have done at Hippocrates Wellness, which should be mandated as the healthcare system of the future.

LACHHA BOLTZ

MY BATTLE WITH ADVANCED OVARIAN CANCER

I rejected “normal” and saved my life.

I was born in France, 43 years ago. At three weeks old my parents wrapped me in a blanket, and we moved down to the Ivory Coast of Africa. It was an interesting childhood that was filled with mystical and wonderful memories. At 17, I moved back to my birth country, remained at school, and fell in love with my husband, Vincent. We had always dreamed of moving to North America, so, finally, 12 years ago, we did.

We had a couple of children with us. When we landed in Quebec, the language was familiar, but we still dreamt of moving to the United States. We had three more children, a total of five. Then, back in 2021, I wasn’t feeling so well and was shocked to discover that I had advanced Ovarian Cancer. This is a scary condition to research information on.

The prognosis was not good, I could find only cases of fear and few of any success.

At this moment, I found a wonderful story about a mother and daughter; both had advanced stage four breast cancer and went to Hippocrates Wellness and healed themselves at different times. I said, “What could it hurt if I tried the same?” During this period of time, we worked hard to obtain our visa, but the pandemic came, and while I was visiting Hippocrates, my husband lost his job prospects in the United States.

At that time, things looked grim for my family, but here we are, two years later, and I am cancer-free! I know the reason this happened. Other than taking my ovaries out, I refused to go through with the suggested mass hysterectomy followed up by nuclear medicine. All too often, I saw what happened to people who went down this road. My doctors are delighted, as much as I and my children are, that I am cancer-free.

I know that it is due to the Hippocrates Lifestyle and the consistent exercise I am doing that have resulted in me losing 100 pounds over the last year and a half. This living food plan is not a joke, it saved my life and thousands of people, decade after decade.

“Merci beaucoup,” and I hope that if any of you who are reading this ever doubt your ability to recover, you abolish that doubt from your mind and heart. If I could do it, you can do it! Much of this is with the support of my husband, who, every single day, makes me the Hippocrates signature wheatgrass and green juice.

A family that works together achieves miraculous things.

Community IS Medicine

How Community and Connection Facilitates Resilience

Human beings are biologically built to interact and be social. The level and quality of social interactions may differ from person to person, but the need for community and connection is biologically inherent for humans. Social connections with meaning are essential for human survival, to thrive and to feel good and optimistic.

Social connections are as important as eating a nutritious diet, quantity and quality of sleep, or gaining the benefits from daily exercise workouts. Meaningful, purposeful relationships are immensely powerful; if the right people, they fuel us, help us to reach our potential, and can provide us with emotional resilience and connection.

This is why becoming a Credentialed Professional Coach is such a good choice for your own mental and emotional health and wellbeing.

The Science of Social Connection

The history of human evolution has proven that we have survived and thrived through connection and community support. This is not debatable. The impact of social connections on health has been widely documented in scientific journals.

The longest-running study on happiness, the 80+-year Harvard study on adult development, shows very clearly that a loving partner and close, connected relationships with

family, friends, and community are key to our happiness and also our longevity.

Significant studies show that a lack of social connections causes stress and health problems, including obesity, smoking, high blood pressure, and early death. Our connectedness with others is a key component to our mental and emotional health and resilience.

One study conducted by Emma Seppala, a Stanford University professor, points out that strong connections make us healthier and happier, actually increasing our

longevity of life. Furthermore, it showed that good social connections can improve your immune system and reduce anxiety and depression. The study also showed that social isolation is a major risk factor for early death. It showed clearly an increased risk of mortality among people with a low quantity and quality of social relationships.

How much time are you spending on a computer daily? This is isolation if you are alone.

Limbic Resonance

Limbic resonance is referred to as a phenomenon that occurs when two or more people share an emotional connection with each other. The experience and sense of mutual understanding and connectedness have a direct, positive impact on the limbic system of the brain and, I believe, the human heart, too.

Dr. Thomas Lewis, a psychiatrist and author of the book ‘A General Theory of Love,’ writes that limbic resonance is ‘a symphony of mutual and internal adaptation’ whereby mammals become attuned to each other’s inner states and experience communal connection. Limbic resonance occurs when two or more people engage in positive social interactions. It may include an intimate or productive conversation, sharing laughter, enjoying a joke, or having conversations with work colleagues you feel aligned with. The limbic systems of the individuals become synchronized, leading to mutual emotional resonance.

Community – Your Healing & Resilient Building Force at this Time

The world has changed, becoming incredibly fast-paced, and computer work is needed by all professionals. However, we cannot get away from or ignore our biological needs. Hours and hours on a computer working without interactions in the physical reality with face-to-face, eye-to-eye connection CANNOT regulate you – you are in isolation (video calls are NOT enough). Again, this is why becoming a Credentialed Professional Coach is such a good choice for your own mental and emotional health and wellbeing.

Numerous case studies have now illustrated that it is hard to recover from trauma, addictions, or depression alone. The heaviness of the difficulty or suffering is amplified and becomes immense and often overwhelming, regardless of how strong-willed an individual is. The symptoms of specific mental health disorders, like depression, become worse when people withdraw, isolate, or try to deal with the symptoms alone. However, if people build a community of like-minded and goalaligned individuals that provide value and security to their lives, and not additional stress, they take the road to building a great life and experience connection, enjoyment, emotional resilience, and success.

In the book, ‘Love and Survival: The Scientific Basis for the Healing Power of Intimacy,' the author, Dean Ornish, explains the healing power of love and connection. According to Dr. Ornish, who is one of the world’s leading physicians promoting lifestyle medicine, he is not aware of any other factor in medicine — not diet, not smoking, not exercise, not stress, not genetics, not drugs, not surgery — that has a greater impact on our quality of life or incidence of illness than human connection. He studied people suffering from heart disease and discovered that human connection improves health in all situations. He says, “Anything that promotes a sense of isolation often leads to illness and suffering, while that which promotes a sense of love and intimacy, connection, and community is healing.”

Personal Words from Tony Vernon, HWC, NMC, AMC, MMC

Building a loving relationship, a united family, and working to build a community with people professionally and personally who are goal-aligned, skilled, and capable, adds immense value and security to your life. Playing a winning game with other winners is exciting and fun.

If you want to win in business with these people, they must be physically fit, too: to have the endurance, determination, and mental abilities that come from working on your health and exercising hard regularly, to be robust and to handle the competitive arena that winning in the marketplace now is.

This is not therapy; it is a coaching approach that will build your community and sense of connection, mental health, internal sense of security, and ability to be optimistic and resilient.

Training as a Credentialed Professional Coach to make a career out of professionally coaching others will dramatically improve your wellbeing due to the meaningful coaching relationships you develop. What other professional career can provide you with this?

Taking professional credentialed coach training without a desire to become a professional coach can also improve your communication skills to be at a higher level, which you can apply in your personal and professional life to assist you in reaching greater fulfillment and your potential.

Beyond Words:

The Energy Medicine of Deep-Feeling Psychotherapy

Psychotherapeutic healing transcends the mere exchange of words or the analysis of problems. Beyond dissecting issues or finding solutions, deep-feeling therapy fosters a deep connection where individuals feel truly seen, heard, and embraced. The heartfelt human encounter of deep-feeling therapy carries an intangible yet potent force—a subtle dance of energies between therapist and client that shapes the very essence of positive change.

25 | hippocrateswellness.org

At the heart of this deep-encounter concept lies the legacy of one of my therapist heroes, Carl Rogers, a pioneering figure in psychology known for his client-centered approach. Rogers believed in the inherent goodness and self-directed growth potential within each person. Central to his method was the notion of unconditional positive regard—a profound acceptance and respect for the client, regardless of their struggles or shortcomings.

In the therapeutic space, this unconditional positive regard forms the cornerstone of the energy exchange. It creates a sacred container where you can freely explore your innermost thoughts, feelings, and experiences without fear of judgment or rejection. In this safe haven, you are invited to peel back the layers of your being, revealing your vulnerabilities and truths without reservation.

But real therapy goes beyond passive acceptance; it embodies active engagement, genuine interest, and sometimes a dose of loving confrontation, which brings me to my next therapist hero, Fritz Perls, the father of Gestalt Therapy, known for his direct, disarming approach. Grounded in existential and phenomenological principles, Perls emphasized the importance of here-andnow awareness, personal responsibility, and authentic expression. He believed in the power of direct experience and used experiential techniques such as role-playing, “empty-chair” dialogues, and dream work to illuminate unconscious patterns and facilitate personal growth. His dynamic and confrontational style challenged clients to take ownership of their experiences and embrace the full spectrum of their being for the sake of greater selfawareness and self-acceptance.

Here’s my point: a good therapist not only comforts the disturbed but also disturbs the overly comfortable and rigid. Rogers accepts you and sees the best in you; Perls calls you on your stuff and challenges you to take charge of your life. Me as a therapist? I am a diehard Rogerian carrying a Gestalt lightsaber in my utility belt.

My role as a therapist extends beyond passive witnessing, especially when working with the intricate tapestry of couples and family relationships. Relationship work involves active intervention and skillful navigation to facilitate growth and transformation. Drawing from various therapeutic modalities, such as Family Systems Theory and Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), I employ strategic interruptions and interjections to redirect the flow of energy within the relational field. Sometimes I feel like a dance choreographer, sometimes like a bullfighter. But always an artist.

Illuminating entrenched patterns of interaction, and revealing the underlying dynamics that perpetuate conflict and disconnection, takes energy and work! By interjecting my own energy—whether through a gentle inquiry, a reflective observation, humor, or even a metaphorical shake and a shout—I disrupt the cycle of blame and defensiveness, creating space for authentic dialogue and emotional intimacy to emerge. While I’m energetically dancing with you, I keep my eye on the prize: to create and sustain a container of safety and trust where you and yours can explore vulnerable aspects of yourselves without fear of judgment or rejection. I join your system, but I am not of it. I show up as your kindly grandfather, wise Yoda, and your snarky big brother, all to coax you into authenticity. I’m here to nudge you, not to judge you.

Again, uprooting and disrupting unconscious patterns and fostering new levels of connectedness, takes energy! To empower you to transcend old ways of thinking and interacting so you may co-create more fulfilling and harmonious relationships takes energy! I step into the battlefield, armed with the seeds of peace, and the knowledge that deep connection is what we all want and need.

In this reciprocal exchange of energies, both you and I are transformed. I become a mirror, reflecting back your inner wisdom and resilience. At the same time, our togetherness serves as a mirror for me, too, illuminating blind spots and biases within my own psyche. Through this mutual exchange, we are reminded of our humanity, grow in humility, and deepen our capacity for empathy. That’s what therapy holds for us humans, and why I do it.

Moreover, the energy exchange in therapy extends beyond the confines of the therapeutic session. Over time, I watch you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, growing in self-compassion and self-acceptance. I see you engaging life’s challenges with more agency and empowerment. I see you blossom from wounded to warrior. Guess what? Me, too!

In essence, true therapy transcends the limitations of language and cognition—it's a sacred dance of energies where we come together to lay our burdens down, grow, and transform. Rooted in the principles of unconditional positive regard and empathic attunement, good therapy offers a sanctuary where individuals are truly seen, heard, and respected. In this hallowed space of authentic encounter, we break down, melt, re-group, build, solidify, and heal.

LifeGive is defined by an innovative approach to help maintain a healthy immune system, focusing on creating the most effective plant-derived formulas to support your body.

We are Light

Einstein Hypothesized that a Subtle frequency unifies all that exists, including humans to all else. This quantum statement, from more than a century ago, was viciously challenged by the scientific community. Now, in the twenty-first century, his hypothesis has been validated in several ways.

29 | hippocrateswellness.org

Microcurrents (Subtle frequencies) are the instigators behind the creation of matter. In 2016, a team of researchers at Northwestern University reported that they had been measuring an explosive light that emerges from the connection between sperm and eggs at the very moment of conception. They additionally stated that the stronger and more conformed this luminist representation is, the greater the immune system, the more balanced the metabolism, and genetically, it can lead to a longer lifespan.

Viktoras Kulvinskas and Ann Wigmore directly spoke about this at the inception of Hippocrates Institute in the 1950s / 60s. They strongly suggested that the energy (frequency) in fresh, raw plant food enhanced the energy in every cell that allowed your anatomy, as well as emotional state, to function at its highest level. In the 1970s, Doctor Valerie Hunt, a professor at the University of California, validated this by filming the increased luminescence of cells and organ systems after the consumption of living plant food. She also went as far as testing the inverse by feeding the test subjects a typical Westernized meal that instantly demonstrated an enormous draining effect it had on the energy of a person who swallowed this non-nutritious, dead (both figuratively and literally) “fare.”

A group of scientists in Italy developed a seismology unit that doubled as a monitor of one’s vibrational frequencies and energy reserve. Remarkably, when they tested raw plant food consumers, there was a clear halo effect where you could visibly see the internal system light up connecting to the external environment. Circular rings are indicative of the protons that saturate our atmosphere and how they rhythmically pour energy down on all of Earth’s life. They also measured a plant consumer versus a carnivore and showed, with this dynamic technology, that the life force in the plant consumer was large, whole, and everywhere. The flesh consumer showed no photons other than a slight bit where they breathed them in from the atmosphere and displayed an almost universal absence of these life-providing forces.

Eastern Indian theology, without having measurement tools thousands of years ago, described this as prana. Hands-on healers also use themselves, and their own energy field connected to the greater frequency field of the atmosphere, to help pour needed vibration into the bodies of the afflicted. Global science has tested this thousands of times in a plethora of methods and still cannot explain why healing often occurs via this organically natural process.

To make this more understandable to you, the reader, think about the feeling you render when you are near someone you truly love. It is not visible or measurable, but you know that it is real. You must think beyond the limited ideology that we have been educated to believe. “Unless it is there, it is not real.” I challenge you to jump well beyond the confinement of this restrained thought and recognize that the most powerful forces that govern the multiple universes are those that we cannot fully understand and seemingly accept.

Who would have ever thought that you could purchase a flying device that you control using handheld technology?

The elders among us are still stunned that you can speak on a telephone that does not have a wire connected to it. Imagine a worldwide network where we can instantly connect with one another through speech recognition and texting.

Once a new reality becomes viable, the mass public embraces it and moves on to ever-increasing manifestations of what was unthinkable in the past. Hippocrates Wellness pioneered energy medicine and considers each and every guest who attends our programs a gathering of light. Some arrive dim, and some arrive bright, but in all cases, we can tweak your remarkable biological system by readjusting its vibrational frequency components. Become light in your head, heart, and body, and like a feather, you can float through life with grace, joy, fulfillment, and exceptional extraordinary health.

The New Science of Wellness...

AI Causes Real Harm.

Let’s

Focus on That over the End-of-Humanity Hype

Effective regulation of AI needs grounded science that investigates real harms, not glorified press releases about existential risks. Wrongful arrests, an expanding surveillance dragnet, defamation, and deep-fake pornography are all actually existing dangers of so-called “artificial intelligence” tools currently on the market. That, and not the imagined potential to wipe out humanity, is the real threat from Artificial Intelligence. Beneath the hype from many AI firms, their technology already enables routine discrimination in housing, criminal justice, and health care, as well as the spread of hate speech and

Learning to Accept Discomfort Could Help You Thrive

Equanimity, a key ingredient of mindfulness meditation, helps people face life’s ups and downs. A 2022 study involving more than 2,000 people demonstrated that the participants who were explicitly encouraged to push themselves into awkward, uncomfortable situations across multiple domains—including taking improv classes to boost self-confidence and reading about opposing political viewpoints—later reported the greatest degree of personal growth. Another study, published in 2023, found that people who can face negative emotions such as sadness and anger in a neutral way are more satisfied, are less anxious, and have fewer symptoms of depression than those who judge their negative feelings harshly. That study aligns with a growing consensus in psychology that suggests we can learn powerful lessons about ourselves if we can sit with our emotions and thoughts with an open, curious mind.

To Lead a Meaningful Life, Become Your Own Hero

Bacteria Make Decisions Based on Generational Memories

Bacteria choose to swarm based on what happened to their greatgrandparents. Even organisms without brains can remember their past: Scientists found that Escherichia coli bacteria form their own kind of memories of exposure to nutrients. They pass these memories down to future generations, which can help them evade antibiotics, the research team reported in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA. "We typically think of microbes as single-celled organisms [that each] do their own thing," says Dartmouth College microbiologist George O'Toole, who studies bacterial structures called biofilms. In reality, bacteria frequently survive by working together. Much like honey bees relocating their hive, colonies of bacteria searching for permanent homes will often travel as collective units called swarms.

From Gilgamesh to Star Wars, the narrative blueprint underpinning many heroic tales can offer a powerful way to reframe experiences. A recent study published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology shows that people who frame their own life as a hero's journey find more significance in it. This insight led us to develop a "restorying" intervention to enrich individuals' sense of meaning and well-being. When people start to see their own lives as heroic quests, we discovered, they report less depression and can cope better with challenges. The human brain seems hardwired to make sense of the world through stories. Over millennia of evolution, Homo sapiens have spent countless hours sitting around fires and telling tales of challenge and triumph. Our interest in storytelling explains why we read magazine articles that open with an anecdote and why we naturally frame our lives in story form.

Rising Temperatures Are Turning Some Animals Nocturnal

As climate change makes the planet hotter, some animals might become more active at night to escape the midday heat. The white-lipped peccary, a piglike animal native to Central and South America, usually forages for fruit and other plants during the day and sleeps at night. But scientists in Brazil’s Pantanal wetlands have found that these animals become more nocturnal when it gets unusually hot. This behavioral flexibility could help peccaries—and potentially other species—adapt to climate change. Studies have found similar shifts in other species, including giant anteaters and cheetahs. But even though becoming more nocturnal seems like an obvious way to beat the heat, the potential impact of climate change on the timing of animal activity has not been widely studied, says

Intervention at an Early Age May Hold Off the Onset of Depression

Preventing initial episodes might stop depression from becoming a disabling chronic condition. For researchers heading up depression prevention programs, the stakes of early intervention couldn't be higher. The earlier a first episode of depression begins, and the more episodes a person suffers, the more serious and disabling the condition is likely to be throughout life. People who recover from an initial depression have a 40 to 60 percent chance of a later episode; those with two episodes have a 60 to 70 percent chance of recurrence, and those with three episodes have a 90 percent chance—a vicious cycle that too often ends in chronic illness or disability. And since the COVID pandemic, teens' risk of falling into the cycle has climbed: 42 percent of U.S. high school students report lasting sadness or hopelessness in surveys by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, up from 28 percent a decade before. Intervention during the teen years, studies suggest, can potentially stop the kind of depressive cascade that erodes human potential and imposes massive costs on healthcare systems.

Now There Are Better Ways Than BMI Charts to Assess Health Risks

The body mass index is flawed, and medicine has better options for measuring obesity. The shortcomings of BMI have been recognized for decades. Yet physicians kept using it as a quick way to diagnose obesity and as a proxy for overall health. "It made life really easy," says clinical psychologist Cynthia Bulik, founding director of the University of North Carolina Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders. "It also led to a type of tunnel vision." Equating a slightly high BMI with poor health isn't always accurate. The American Medical Association acknowledged as much when it announced last June that BMI alone is an imperfect measure and that clinical practice needs to change. The new thinking on BMI does not negate the need to address the health risks associated with a high body fat percentage. In 2013, the AMA recognized obesity as a disease and noted that it often leads to many dangerous conditions, including cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. The risks of obesity haven't changed. A recent study showed just how imprecise BMI can be. Yftach Gepner, a physiologist and epidemiologist at Tel Aviv University, and his colleagues looked at data on about 3,000 Israeli men and women. Roughly one-third of those whose BMI placed them in the normal range were found to be obese when their actual body fat was measured. And a third of those identified as overweight by their BMI had normal body fat. "If you are combining the misclassification on both sides," Gepner says, using BMI to determine obesity "is like flipping a coin."

The Invisible Rainbow

The Paradox of Energy Medicine

An intelligent person soon realizes there are strong forces we are often unaware of that move within our lives. With all the scientific advances, technological innovations, nutritional information, and the rise in public sanitation over the last 100 years, diseases should be close to extinction by now.

And yet, there are more diseases affecting more people. Even general health and life expectancy are now in decline. The answer to this mystery may simply be how people think about disease. The Industrial Revolution in Europe held the promise of unlimited productivity, more leisure time, and a better life for future generations. But, Arthur Firstenburg, in his courageous book, The Invisible Rainbow, traces the history of electricity from the 18th century to the present, making a compelling case that many environmental problems and the major diseases of modern civilization: heart disease, diabetes, and cancer are related to electrical pollution.

The Body Electric: A Turning Point in History

In the 18th century, Luigi Galvani discovered that simply touching a brass hook to an iron wire caused a frog’s leg to contract. The function of the nerves, he reasoned, was to discharge the stored electricity in the muscles. The dissimilar metals, in direct contact with the muscles, mimicked the natural function of the animal’s own nerves. Galvani’s countryman, Alessandro Volta, held an opposing and, at the time, heretical opinion. The electric current, he claimed, came from the two dissimilar metals themselves.

Volta argued that the frog’s leg convulsion was due entirely to the external stimulus. Volta went on to invent, what today is, the direct current automobile battery - two different metals immersed in acid connected by a wire. Convention soon accepted what seemed an obvious meme - that electricity was external to the human body. And this obscure 18th-century decision by humankind changed history.

For, as Firstenburg says, “Volta pronounced that electricity and life are distinct and that there are no electric currents flowing in the body. To this day, in the teaching of biology, chemistry is king, and electricity is omitted.” But what if Galvani had a point - that there is a complex system within the body where every function is the result of an electric impulse? What if the huge inundation of electrical emanations from modern appliances, transmission lines, and 5G towers is actually a daily invisible assault on the delicate, dynamic mechanism within the human body? Could this enormous electrical onslaught be a major, undetected cause of disease?

Think Like An Electrician

In the splendid book "Healing is Voltage," Dr. Jerry Tennant explains that the human body must constantly make new cells to function, heal, and survive. "Chronic disease occurs when we lose the ability to make new cells that work." Making new cells requires – 50 millivolts of energy. Almost all chronic diseases are characterized by low voltage. Just as a new Mercedes without a battery isn't going anywhere, a body without a functional electrical system doesn't work either. Therefore, the title of

the book is "Healing is Voltage," and "Our muscles are voltage generators as well as rechargeable batteries. Without exercise, our battery system goes dead." It all starts when you begin thinking like an electrician instead of a physician. Check the voltage of the system of the body (the acupuncture system), and you will be on your way to finding the problem and its solution. Dr. Tennant, an eye surgeon, healed himself of a 7-year affliction of meningitis with electromagnetic therapy.

The Invisible Rainbow

Firstenburg endorses this insight, claiming that the discovery of electricity and viewing it as independent of the human body, as Volta did, resulted in an electrical onslaught of mammoth proportions on the delicate circuitry of humans. "We live today with a number of devastating diseases that do not belong here, whose origin we do not know, whose presence we take for granted and no longer question. What it feels like to be without them, we have completely forgotten." Anxiety disorder, afflicting 1/6 of humanity, did not exist before the 1860s, when telegraph wires first encircled the earth. No hint of it appears in medical literature before 1866. In its present form, influenza was invented in 1889 along with Alternating Current (AC). Many of the doctors flooded with the disease in 1889 had never seen a case before. Prior to the 1860s (the Civil War in America), diabetes was so rare that few doctors saw more than 1 or 2 cases in their lifetime. Heart disease at the time was the 25th most common cause of death, behind accidental drowning. It was extraordinary to have a diseased

35 | hippocrateswellness.org

heart. Cancer was also exceedingly rare. Even tobacco smoking in non-electrified times did not cause lung cancer.

These are the diseases of civilization, diseases we live with because of a refusal to recognize the force that we have harnessed for what it is. The 60-cycle current in our house wiring, the ultrasonic frequencies in our computers, the radio waves in our televisions, and the neuro waves in our cell phones are only distortions of the invisible rainbow that runs through our veins and makes us alive.

The Lethal London Fog

Wood powered the first steam engines and power plants of Europe’s Industrial Revolution. But, very soon, the available forests were depleted, and industrialists turned to coal as the favored fuel of the insatiable external combustion engine. By 1870, London’s nickname was The Big Smoke, describing the sulfur dioxide and the NO2 haze settling over the city from coal-burning smokestacks. The putrid gloom was the backdrop of many Victorian novels, such as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Bleak House, and Sherlock Holmes thrillers.

London’s pea soupers continued well into the 20th century, emissions growing in direct proportion to population increase. In 1840, London, the world’s most populous city, was home to 2 million people. By 1952, it had grown to 10 million residents. In that year, because of a thermal inversion, a killer fog caused 10,000 deaths, with over 150,000 hospitalized. The coal-burning power plants supplying the city’s electricity, in addition to emissions from industries, brought shipping on the Thames to a standstill. Masked conductors holding flashlights walked in front of double-decker buses to guide them down London streets.

"With all the scientific advances, technological innovations, nutritional information, and the rise in public sanitation over the last 100 years, diseases should be close to extinction by now. "

His Master’s Voice

On March 10, 1876, Alexander Graham Bell spoke the historic words, “Mr. Watson, come here!” And the telephone was born. By 1879, only 250 people owned phones. The electric light industry began about the same time. Thomas Edison purchased the patent for an incandescent lamp that glowed for 40 hours, suitable for home use. In 1881, he built the first of hundreds of central stations supplying direct current to his customers.

In 1888, Nikola Tesla patented a spinning magnet adjacent to a wire powered by steam or a waterfall, which produced an electron surge through the wire. He called it Alternating Current (AC) since its direction reversed as the magnets spun. Tesla’s invention flooded American cities with affordable light. Viewers from a distance can still perceive this phenomenon of alternating current in city lights as they continuously flicker.

Firstenburg tells us, “In 1889, quite suddenly, the world was being electrified on a scale that could scarcely have been conceived. The telegraph had annihilated space and time. However, 20 years later, the electric motor made the telegraph look like a child’s toy and the electric locomotive was about to explode in the countryside.”

The Little Wood Stove

In the 1740s, Ben Franklin invented an iron wood-burning stove that could be built into fireplaces to maximize heat output while minimizing smoke and drafts. In his revelatory book, 'Immortality,' Dr. Joel Wallach says that this Pennsylvania Stove produced wood ash filled with plant minerals mixed with food as ‘culinary ashes’!

In addition, the ash was mixed with salt as a condiment, and the balance was mixed into lye soap or discarded into the compost to fertilize the garden.

Denuded Food

However, with the transition in America from wood to coal and then to electricity, the flow of wood ashes (plant mineral nutrition) that had supported human development began to be pinched off. Incorporating wood ashes into food produced stronger, taller, healthier, more fertile, more creative, and longer-lived humans.

Dr. Wallach explains that most food is now anemic, grown on chemically enhanced anemic ground. We require 90 essential nutrients with every mouthful of food, each meal, and every day: 60 essential minerals, 16 essential vitamins, 12 essential amino acids, and 3 essential fatty acids.

In his outstanding book EMF*D, warning of the 5G menace, Dr. Joseph Mercola says, “The relationship between the rise in electrification and chronic diseases follows an eerily similar trajectory and presents a compelling reason why this electrification—and the expansion of devices that emit EMF that came along with it—is one of the primary reasons for the epidemic of chronic disease that we are now experiencing.”

In the probative book 'Silent Killers,' Jennifer C. Brower quotes the insight of Brian Clement, the co-founder of Hippocrates Wellness: "Electro pollution is a well-researched and established fact that impacts our overall health. Close proximity to electric plants, high-tension wires, 5G, and even wall sockets weakens one's endurance, adding to the potential of increased symptoms and disease."

The Blue Zones

Dr. Dan Buettner, author of Blue Zones, believes there are 4 places on earth where people successfully live over 100 years of age. And if people anywhere were to apply their basic principles, humans everywhere could live beyond 100. For example, in Hunza today, doctors have concluded that the main cause of premature death amongst Hunzakut people is from accidents! Doctor Wallach, in Immortality, confirms that mineral-rich diets, found universally in all Blue Zones, are an absolute requirement to reach the centenarian club. A high protein, low carbohydrate diet is relatively forgiving of a low vitamin intake, but unforgiving of a low mineral diet.

Gunsmoke

This may be why people feel nostalgic about movies like Lost Horizon (1937), set in Shangri-La, a mythical location in the Himalayas inspired by another Blue Zone, Tibet. Western movies also depict a simpler, off-grid time without electricity, except perhaps the telegraph. In the TV series GUNSMOKE, there are no telephones, automobiles, electric lights, washing machines, or microwave ovens. It is still a mystery how Kitty, the proprietor of the Long Branch Saloon, kept Matt’s beer cold in the summer Kansas heat. Even at the height of the Cold War, biographers tell us that Joseph Stalin himself was enamored of American Western movies, habitually watching them from late night into the early morning in the darkened Kremlin while feasting with his closest allies. Western movies, like the Blue Zones, are attractive because of what is absent. Dr. Wallach says, “ One of the unintended benefits of the Blue Zones is that they are remote and have little or no access to doctors, pharmaceuticals, French fries, fried foods, high fructose corn syrup, soft drinks, and white flour.” The reason restaurant food in civilized countries is so dangerous, even in the cuisine of the highest quality, is the unthinking use of dangerous oils such as canola, soybean, and cottonseed.

Energy Medicine

The good news is that out of all the thousands of random electromagnetic frequencies produced, there are healthy frequencies that actually restore health. The paradox is that the technological advancements that delivered the onslaught of emissions on the human body also provided the antidote.

Ironically, in 1958, 6 years after the lethal fog in London, Israel Myers, who produced waterproof clothing for the US Navy in WWII, introduced the first London Fog raincoat at Saks 5th Avenue in New York at a price of $29.95. The company went public in the 1960s, and by the 70s, London Fog had its own stores and boasted that 2/3 of all raincoats sold in the US were London Fog.

The extraordinary technological development of the last 50 years has produced sophisticated instruments that now deliver restorative waves and corrective frequencies to Olympic athletes, NASA astronauts, celebrities, and NFL stars. The FDA has recently approved electric medicine technologies for treating brain cancer, anxiety and depression, incontinence, and cellular renewal.

On the other hand, allopathic medicine does not acknowledge energy activity in the body despite the publication of more than 40,000 studies focused on electromagnetic treatments. Yet electrocardiograms, X-rays, MRI, and EKG are widely used in diagnostic practice in traditional medicine. However, allopathic remedies, unlike Energy Medicine, are only biochemically based and often involve prescription medications with many side effects.

At Hippocrates Wellness, the Energy Medicine Department focuses on supporting the energy activity in the body by treating the individual with a variety of emissions, such as LED Lights, Red Light, Near and Far infrared, PEMF, neuro-acoustic

therapies and vibrational therapies.

The addition of the Antiaging Bed™ products to promote sleep and cellular balance shows remarkable benefits for Hippocrates guests without side effects. The Energy Department has also recently introduced the Tesla Plasma Frequency Machine. This unique device contains more than 4 million frequencies related to mental states, diseases, parasites, metal toxicity, and specific cancers.

The guest reclines comfortably in an antigravity vibroacoustic chair and absorbs the emanations from the machine. This state-of-the-art energy treatment provides a powerful, noninvasive, energetic infusion of selective frequencies collected over the past century by physicians, virologists, bacteriologists, and immunologists. It contains the frequencies Nikola Tesla documented in his personal research, “If you want to know the secrets of the Universe, you must think in terms of Energy, Frequency, and Vibrations.” Professor Linus Pauling, Nobel Prize winner, said, “Pulsed electromagnetic frequency is a blessing for humankind from the infant to the geriatric.” And Albert Einstein said, “The future of medicine will be the medicine of frequencies.”

We believe that, thanks to their visionary approach and what they have promoted at Hippocrates, health Directors Anna Maria and Brian Clement have guided guests to finally experience the deeply supportive power of Frequency, Vibrations, and Energy in one single treatment as part of their healing journey at Hippocrates Wellness.

If you would personally like to experience the positive effects of Energy Medicine in your life, you can reach Augusta Malacarne, Director of Energy Medicine, on her mobile at 929 923 2941 for a free consultation and to purchase portable Energy Medicine devices for home use.

What Toxins Are in Our Water?

According to the Environmental Working Group (EWG) drinking water in communities all across the country contains an array of contaminants—including radioactive elements, arsenic, disinfection byproducts, and chromium-6, the chemical that Erin Brockovich famously brought to the public’s attention.

The EWG Tap Water Database reveals that when some Americans turn on the tap for a glass of water, they are getting more than they bargained for. The unwanted dose of agricultural or industrial contaminants is often linked to serious health problems, including brain damage, nerve damage, fertility issues, birth defects, and cancer.

A California case study published in Environmental Health (2019) found that more than 15,000 incidents of cancer could be directly attributed to the quality of drinking water. In particular, it was noted that 20 or more carcinogens were present in the public water supply at levels that put the public’s health at risk—even when the tap water met federal drinking water standards.

By the EPA’s own admission, the byproducts of disinfection are found in drinking water across the United States and are a significant cancer risk.

For example, chlorine, a commonly used disinfectant, may prevent waterborne microbial diseases, but the byproducts that are formed when chlorine reacts with dead plant materials and sediments in the water, are often highly toxic.

Regulators previously assessed pollutants in tap water, one at a time. Yet, our public water supply rarely contains only one contaminant. The EWG conducted a peer-reviewed

study to assess the cumulative effect of more than one contaminant. Their conclusion? “The federal government’s approach of regulating one contaminant at a time is slow and inefficient.”

It was estimated that 4,860 Californians would develop cancer from drinking their tap water. It was also found that nearly two-thirds of public water systems contained a minimum of two cancer-causing contaminants.

Regardless of where you live, the “toxic soup” of chemicals in our water supply is a known health risk. As consumers, we must be aware so that we may take corrective measures in our homes to protect ourselves, our families, and clean our water using adequate filtration equipment.

Clean, pure water is the essence of life and the birthright of all of us. There is no better gift we can give our family than to provide uncontaminated, clean, safe water every time we turn on the tap.

Let’s work together to make...

Fortunately, with my work, we have an ongoing flow of interesting people who attend Hippocrates Wellness.

Several years ago, Dr. Kathy Powell and I authored a book, “Power of a Woman,” we highlighted the extraordinary contributions that women have made to the human race and how we should all be proud of their success. When Viviane Amar stayed with me during the holiday season, I learned more about her than I knew from her previous stay. She, like so many, was brought up as a Sephardic with loving parents, who both had divorced earlier and found a deep commitment to one another.

So, when Vivian went out into the world and found her partner, her mind stated, and religion supported, that this was a life commitment. Slowly and surely, however, what she had seen as a child did not occur in her own reality. It took 20 years and two children, who encouraged her to leave their dad, to finally liberate herself at 40.

During her academic pursuits, the teachers and professors always stated that she was brilliant scholastically. But she didn’t know who she was at that point. She felt suffocated. She decided to begin taking every type of class, course, and learning that she could fit into her daily life. Eventually, she gravitated toward psychology. This was intially an uphill battle for a middle-aged woman, but it became a fast run in the right direction.

One thing Vivian observed is the hierarchical way that businesses and corporations operate. So, she decided to write her first book, “From Power to Leadership.”

It obviously resonated with people globally because, before she knew it, she had a new career. She went from continent to continent, country to country, and did threeand-a-half-day intense seminars on leadership. Vivian would intermittently coach for one and a half to three days with people who attended and then return nine months later, almost like giving birth, and now teaches mentoring.

This is a way to seed courage in people and grow businesses and organizations. Her objective was to teach people not to have power for power, which shows a sense of insecurity and inability. Her second book was “Children of the Universe.” She points out that all men have Adam within them, a pure unadulterated version of a male, and women have Eve, the strong and loving maternal woman. Even now, in her 80s, she’s just warming up!

Her new endeavor is to teach women to help men rather than criticize them. By supporting one another, the family and humanity become stronger and better. It is wonderful to see leadership like this, which is so sorely needed at a time when there is so much confusion and lack of direction. We are imploding rather than growing closer together. It is my belief as co-director and co-supporter, as Brian, my husband, is to me, that we can go back to the basics and rebuild everything the way it was meant to be.

Everything Normal Again

There is no doubt that we can do what we should be doing without harming, hurting, or disturbing others. Power does not have to be something that is controlling, but more so engaging, fulfilling, and impassioning to keep going further, growing largely in every pursuit that you ever make.

EnergySchool

Awakening Global Families to Quantum Possibilities

My journey into the profound realms of wellness and energy medicine began at Hippocrates Wellness over three decades ago. The institute has been an integral part of my life, thanks to my father, Andy Roman, a mental health therapist at Hippocrates for the past 35 years. Growing up around such an inspiring environment, I was introduced early on to the principles of living food and the vibrant energy it contains.

At 19, I underwent the transformative three-week Hippocrates program, which opened my eyes to the impact of the energy contained in raw, living foods.

I conducted a six-month follow-up study with my program participants for a college research paper, which enriched my insights into the lasting effects of such lifestyle changes. This experience shaped not only my dietary choices for the rest of my life, but also my understanding of energy in its broader context.

In 2017, my exploration into these realms culminated in the publication of my bestselling book, The Joy Plan (available in English and Spanish on Amazon, Target, Walmart, and Barnes & Noble). This work, which explores the practical application of positivity, intention, and the neuroscience of joy, garnered attention on the TODAY show, highlighting the universality of the power of aligning with the positive frequencies of joy.

This foundation led me to explore deeper into the realms of energy medicine, eventually interviewing many of my heroes in the field for a documentary I’ve been slowly working on called Frequency: The Future of Everything. The film showcases thought-provoking and inspiring interviews with some of the greatest luminaries of our time, including Dr. Joe Dispenza, Bruce H. Lipton, Gregg Braden, Lynne McTaggart, and Nassim Haramein. It combines cutting-edge science with healing frequency music and stunning special effects to bring the complex field of quantum energy to life and showcase how understanding and harnessing this power can provide solutions to the most pressing challenges we face on Earth.

Of all my pursuits over the past few decades, I’m most excited about a recent endeavor that, I believe, has the potential to truly change the world: an online class for children and families worldwide about the powers of quantum manifestation, intuition, epigenetics, and neuroplasticity. The concept of the quantum field and how our thoughts and emotions can interact with it to manifest our reality was a cornerstone of the curriculum.

The six-week class I had the privilege of teaching was not just an educational journey, but a transformative experience for all involved. I was honored to bring Bruce Lipton, Gregg Braden, Eileen McKusick, Dr. Sanjiv Chopra, and other brilliant scientists on as guest teachers, sharing their invaluable insights and skills with our young participants. The aim was clear: to equip the next generation with knowledge and skills that I firmly believe should be foundational in every child's education.

With their profound knowledge of biology and physics, these guest teachers shared their wisdom on the interconnectedness of all life and the potential that lies in harnessing the energy of our thoughts and emotions. The curriculum was designed not just to educate, but to awaken—a call to explore the untapped potential within and to understand our ability to influence the quantum field. Understanding that everything in the universe is energy and learning to harness this energy through intention and awareness has the potential to unlock unparalleled growth and healing.

Exercises in intuition development, for instance, were not just about tapping into inner wisdom, but also understanding the

47 | hippocrateswellness.org

neurobiological pathways that support this skill. Similarly, manifestation techniques were grounded in the science of the quantum field, offering a tangible framework for understanding how thoughts and emotions can shape our experiences.

As families from across the planet came together to learn and grow, they were not just acquiring knowledge, but participating in a global shift towards a more coherent, connected, and conscious world. The dynamic of entire families learning together was incredibly powerful, fostering a shared understanding and ongoing application of these life-changing principles for personal and collective transformation.

Now that the live course has concluded, the entire recorded class, along with the workbook, are available at CoherenceEducation.org for all who wish to embark on this path. This resource is not just for children, but for individuals of all ages.

The principles of quantum physics, the power of intuition, and the potential for neuroplasticity are universal truths, I believe, every human on Earth can benefit from understanding and applying. By introducing these concepts at a young age, we're not just educating children, but empowering future generations to create a world that resonates with harmony, health, and coherence.

In sharing this journey and the resources available through Coherence Education, I hope to inspire others to explore the limitless potential of energy medicine. Whether it's through understanding the energy contained in our food, tapping into our innate intuition, or leveraging the principles of quantum physics to manifest our desired reality, the possibilities are endless.
