Casey Printers 5 Key to Success

Seven Principles of Admirable Business Ethics I just love to pass on good information. 1. Be Trustful: Recognize customers want to do business with a company they can trust; when trust is at the core of a company, it's easy to recognize. Trust defined, is assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, and truth of a business. 2. Keep An Open Mind: For continuous improvement of a company, the leader of an organization must be open to new ideas. Ask for opinions and feedback from both customers and team members and your company will continue to grow. 3. Meet Obligations: Regardless of the circumstances, do everything in your power to gain the trust of past customer's and clients, particularly if something has gone awry. Reclaim any lost business by honoring all commitments and obligations. 4. Have Clear Documents: Re-evaluate all print materials including small business advertising, brochures, and other business documents making sure they are clear, precise and professional. Most important, make sure they do not misrepresent or misinterpret. 5. Become Community Involved: Remain involved in community-related issues and activities, thereby demonstrating that your business is a responsible community contributor. In other words, stay involved. 6. Maintain Accounting Control: Take a hands-on approach to accounting and record keeping, not only as a means of gaining a better feel for the progress of your company, but as a resource for any "questionable " activities. Gaining control of accounting and record keeping allows you to end any dubious activities promptly. 7. Be Respectful: Treat others with the utmost of respect. Regardless of differences, positions, titles, ages, or other types of distinctions, always treat others with professional respect and courtesy. Recognizing the significance of business ethics as a tool for achieving your desired outcome is only the beginning. A small business that instills a deep-seated theme of business ethics within its strategies and policies will be evident among customers. It's overall influence will lead to a profitable, successful company. By recognizing the value of practicing admirable business ethics, and following each of the 7 principles, your success will not be far off. Article courtesy Robert Moment www.sbinformation.com

Their sophomore follow-up, Incredible, was released in 2002 and was certified gold, before the group released such hits as “Heaven,” “The Real Party,” and “Yesterday” on their self-titled album, Mary Mary (2005), which peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200. Their success continued with the release of an acclaimed holiday project, A Mary Mary Christmas, in 2006. It is Mary Mary’s The Sound (2008), however, that sparked Mary Mary’s best mainstream success to date, bowing at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the publication’s R&B/hip-hop chart, as well as garnering numerous awards for the album, and for its record-breaking single “God In Me.” Yet with their tremendous accomplishments, the sisters are quick to point out that they’re driven by something far greater--“It’s not just about musical achievements, awards, charts and sales,” says Erica. “That’s not our guiding light. When Erica goes into early contractions, she’s ordered to limit travel, forcing the duo to deal with the repercussions of canceling their tour. Meanwhile, Tina discovers she is unexpectedly pregnant and faces the consequences of what this means for her family and the immediate future of the group. The pressure gets to the sisters when they start clashing with each other, causing them to seek therapy. Adding to the chaos is sister and stylist Goo. When Goo discovers the girls’ manager doesn’t think she has what it takes to be their lead stylist for the Grammy’s ®, Erica and Tina are caught in the middle of family and business. Does Hip Hop Has The Strength To Effect Change In America? Hip Hop is a movement and it has proven its message as just that since its genesis and is continuing to do so, as we speak. When President Obama was running for office. He reached out to the Hip Hop community because he knew how much influence we had in crossing all genres music, all races nationally and internationally. According to an article written by Dwayne West (TBT News Service) – "Hip hop mogul Jay – Z (Shaun Carter) and urban spokesperson for President Barack Obama, recently stated that hip hop culture has done more for race relations in America the last 30 years than any other individual, genre or movement" He then goes on to write "This is what made hip hop culture such a dynamic and powerful tool of communication. Because as much as we complain about poverty, crime and destruction in urban hoods, white kids and others face those same dilemmas in their day to day lives. So when they hear lyrics about drugs and police brutality, they can relate, because they’ve faced identical challenges and prejudices." Most will agree with both Jay – Z and West viewpoint. However overtime some media outlets has perpetuated Hip Hop for its negative impact instead of its honorary attributes. Although. " Hip hop is a billion dollar industry and can't be denied of its wealth, power and influence it embraces." We should recognize our strengths and execute it effectively as possible! http://www.blogtalkradio.com/hiphopnationalradio/2011/08/18/the-hip-hop-national-radio-conference-call-feedback-line

Exploring The Historical Power & Influence Of Hip Hop Music From as early as the 1970's til present times the Hip Hop community has had an influence on fashion, Trends, dances, equipment, software, video games and etc. Starting back in York City, Morris Heights, Bronx, with DJ Afrika Bambaataa who outlined the four pillars of hip hop culture: MCing, DJing, breaking and graffiti writing. which eventually lead to sampling scratching, Human beatboxing. Bam also encouraged a deterrent to gang violence. Hip hop has also lend it hand to young African Americans a voice to let their issues be heard; "Like rock-and-roll, hip hop is vigorously opposed by conservatives because the feel that it glorifies violence, law-breaking, and gangs". Unfortunately , we are not recognized generally for the positive attribution to society It has give the you to rise from poverty to wealth and given many a chance for financial gain to reach consumers. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/hiphopnationalradio/2011/08/16/the-hip-hop-national-radio-conference-call-feedback-line

Why Is The N-Word So Prevalent In The Hip Hop Community? The N Word By definition, Extremely Disparaging and Offensive, a black person; a member of any dark-skinned people; a person of any race or origin regarded as contemptible, inferior, ignorant, etc. The N-word and its prevalence in our Community is so frequently used it's somewhat like a loose cannon. The true meaning of the word has been so watered down it has some what lost its offensive connotation or has it? Ask just about any elderly person from 70's, 60's era or prior you will get a different response. While researching this topic we came across an article titled The N-word: Our language's most controversial word is evolving, though its racial divisiveness remains." the article was written by Jason Browne. Jason interviewed several experts & non-experts gathering various perspectives on the topic. Here is a few quotes of the article "As a rapper, you've damn near got to use (the N-word). It's standard gear now," said a hip-hop executive "So many Caucasians make money off the word, but most people I know, you can't say that word around. "He believes the word would eventually fall out of common use if removed completely from popular art. "It's bad for business if Lil' Wayne don't say the NWord," he said as an example. "As an African-American, it should be looked at as the worst thing. " To some young African-Americans, the N-word is the worst thing."It's not common and it's not acceptable. It's disrespectful," said Nicole Terry, 22, a black, female EMCC student. "The word means an ignorant person. I have no idea (why people use the word). Maybe they don't know." The article also states that One in three of every popular songs contains explicit lyrics referencing the use of these substances. "Researchers from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine studied the 279 of the most popular songs from 2005, based on reports from Billboard magazine, which tracks popular music." In the Report " Only 9 percent of pop songs had lyrics relating to drugs or alcohol. The number jumped to 14 percent for rock songs, 20 percent for R&B and hip-hop songs, 36 percent for country songs and 77 percent for rap songs." Notice 77 percent were rap songs, it's not surprising that the majority of the blame would fall upon the Hip Hop Culture. Despite the fact that Rock & Roll has been a major influence to substance abuse and premarital sex among teens since the early 70's. Unquestionably, movies, television and Internet making obscenity easily accessible are also contributing factors. The question is, How can we as the voices of Hip Hop music effect change? PIT BOSS

God grounded, Dallas-raised, and as trill as they come, PIT BOSS has been writing music since 13 years old. His partner, Alfonso Mejia (RIP), and he were scheduled to release their first album at the young age of 15 but with the tragic drowning death of his partner the album was never released. After that experience PIT BOSS changed directions and chose to pursue a career in sports. At Lakeview Centennial High in Garland, TX he became one of the top running backs in the state of TX 1995-1996. As a Texas Scholar and a Blue Chip recruit he was offered full ride football scholarships to most NCAA universities. After the birth of his first child, Jamelyn Tyreece Brown, II, at 17 years old he chose to give up his football career to support his family. Over the next 10 years he gained experience in corporate management and at times resorted to the street life and hustling. Through the pain and experiences he suffered while on the streets and in prison he rediscovered his love for God and music. Now PIT BOSS seeks to reach those with similar or worst life experiences and struggles through his music to show that one can rise from the ashes to succeed at life. After the release of his first mixtape, "Money Mission" he continues his mission of helping others with the much anticipated single release of "Do It Big". PIT BOSS' music is inarguably the most trill and hard hitting thing in hip-hop today. Through his independent record label, "Cash Guerilla Records, LLC" he continues his success while helping other artists achieve their dreams. Besides being a successful rap artist he also writes and produces R&B music, hooks and more. PIT BOSS is ambitious and aggressive but remains humble by remembering where he has come from. What you see is what you get with PIT BOSS.

The rest is history... in the making. Vinthoven's b.k.a. Vthov's music is highly regarded as a breath of fresh air. He intricately weaves a thorough understanding of musical elements together with fluctuating rhyme schemes to produce a fresh sound. He has inconceivably merged the virtues of self-worth and a positive outlook, with contemporary swagger. He is neither a Dboy, a gangster, nor a swag party rapper. His music escapes the confines of mainstream taste to bring his listeners raw thought provoking lyrics over sonorous beats. In four words... good music is back.

I knew at the age of 13 that I was destined for a field in entertainment. After leading the Dallas Oak Cliff Jets, a pop warner team, to a N a t i o n a l Championship, I knew that God had blessed me with a special talent. I received a full scholarship to T C U t h a t encour ag ed my t r ans it i on i ng to Professional Football. All my past experiences including a stint in Canadian and National Football Leagues made me feel like life was going to be easy. Life became harder than I ever could have imagined. Cut three times and losing my status as an Elite Football player was just the beginning. Many of you already realize that life is no cakewalk. There are twists and turns in every phase and if you aren’t careful, your pains will hold you captive with seemingly nowhere to turn. I thought my entertainment career had come to a screeching halt due to an ACL tear and a c o a c h throwing me under the bus to cover himself. All my big plans were failing. It took me over a year to get my head right. To come up with a plan that could take me to the next level. We all have peaks and valleys in this life, and in my valley was where I found my next passion - Modeling. I had a personal trainer come up to me while I was at the gym and asked me, “Have you ever thought about fitness modeling?” Since, I had no idea what it was, he went on to explain how I could keep a competitive spirit about myself by getting into the best shape of my life. I thought it would be fun, so I agreed and started training. Five months, tons of cardio and a transformation to my eating habits, I became a second place finisher in my very first fitness model competition. I started networking in the modeling industry and started touching some of the top people in the country. I am now represented by two modeling agencies: The Campbell Agency in Dallas, TX and Sports Unlimited in Los Angeles, CA and Portland, OR. Falling down was a part of life and it happens to everyone. What I have learned is LIFE IS CHOICE. You

can choose to be a victim or an over-comer. We are only defeated when we decide we don’t want to fight anymore. So, the real question is how do you become what you choose to be??? Well, peeps take a deep breathe and come with me. 1. Find what your purpose is. I knew at 13 I was an entertainer. I didn’t know that I would be led to modeling, but I listened to my conscious and found what interests me. 2. You must become convinced of it! Working harder at something will inevitably make you better at it. Investing the time will cause you to become convinced about your purpose. 3. When you are in your purpose, you are convinced of it! You won’t be able to think about anything else because your vision nigh! Vision is the key to unlocking your imagination for where you want your purpose to take you! 4. These components will now allow you to develop your passion. Passion is what makes people follow you. If you have no passion about what you pursue it will be like competing in a race and not wanting to win. It’s important to realize - Without Passion you cannot inspire people. 5. Inspiration is what will occur when people have been infected by YOUR passion. That is what leadership is, infectious desire. When a group of people submit what they believe is true, to what you believe is true, you have infected them with your desire. These are the 5 keys to finding and becoming the leader in your domain. I found my purpose, “To Entertain” became a model and became convinced that I could do it. I began to dream and have a vision on where I wanted to take it. My passion rubbed off on a few people that have helped me along my journey. Because of these steps I have inspired people to give me an opportunity. I hope that you too, can find Your Passion for Being Great! Photo Credits: Eric Ganison & Marta Azevedo ericganisonphotography.com martaphotos.com

Abundance is All Around You! My Life is Fantastic! I am healthy, I am in love and I am loved by GOD and my family! This is abundance. Your Life is Fabulous! You do not lack anything. No matter what you think, there is no lack. Lack is a state of mind that manifests into reality. So if you think lack with chronic thoughts, lack will manifest into your life. So, the answer? Think of ABUNDANCE! See abundance everywhere. See it in the beauty of the day you have been given. See it in the paycheck you receive (no matter what the amount). Feel it in the hugs from your loved ones. Go into your closet and look at all of the clothes, shoes and other items you have to wear. Say thank you, GOD, for all of this abundance. Abundance is everywhere. Every day that I awake I feel and see abundance. In my studio there are notes of abundance to remind me of how rich that I am. Every day I view a greeting card that reminds me “With GOD all things are possible,” Genesis 18:13. Then I usually being my day around 6:00 a.m. then end my radio day at 10:00 a.m., interviewing radio guests for one of my two radio shows: The Valder Beebe Show or THAT CELEBERITY INTERVIEW (ValderBeebeShow.com). For both shows, I interview the world’s most fascinating celebrities and the most interesting everyday guests. The goal of both shows is to ‘change the way we look at things – so the things we look at will change.’ Some guests on my Interview List are: Jarvis Green (defensive lineman who won two Super Bowl rings when he played with the New England Patriots); Ice-T, film and television personality who currently stars in NBC’s Law & Order: SVU; Marlo Thomas, award-winning actress, producer and author, and many others including Carmen Wong Ulrich, the financial advice columnist for Glamour and regular contributor to the “Today” and “Dr. Oz” shows and a regular guest expert on NBC’s “Nightly News With Brian Williams. Hearing their stories and the stories of those who have triumphed over adversity to enjoy their hard-earned fame is the inspiration that The Valder Beebe Show and THAT CELEBRITY INTERVIEW brings to the listeners and viewers. The Valder Beebe Show offers my unique perspective on an array of topics ranging from current events and cultural trends to politics and more, all while bringing listeners and viewers closer to their favorite celebrities and notable public figures. I know that I am the life force of my shows, and I am given an opportunity to explore my passions on air. I explore the issues that matter to you and the moments that move you. We look at your life, health, home and your relationships. My guests share stories of strength and transformation to engage you in your own transformation. What are the wishes for your life? Make them happen. Use the power of abundance, which is a “more than plentiful quality of GOD.” Abundance is elevated in your life by more love, more joy, more kindness and more giving. To recognize that state of abundance, pray consistently, pray often (as you talk to GOD), spend time in meditation (as you listen to GOD), use affirmations, and spend quiet time with GOD getting to know his character.

Valder Beebe hosts The Valder Beebe Show, a 21st century spiritual talk show broadcast on KKVI Radio FM 89.9/95.9, RhythmFlowRadio.net and Pod Cast on valderbeebeshow.com. PR TO THE PEOPLE Tips for Marketing and Branding Yourself By L. Drew Gerber

Whether you are looking for a job, thinking of starting your own business or even steadily working for someone else, this is a good time to start marketing and branding yourself. Companies have long known the importance of making a name for their products and services to set themselves apart from their competition. Today's rapidly shifting economy, combined with our increasingly Web-driven communications, make it essential for individuals to constantly assess, update and promote their skills. OK, you say, I understand why Microsoft, Apple, Nike, Kellogg's, Campbell's and Nabisco brand themselves. I'm not a computer, a shoe or a can of soup. Well, just like those companies, you face competition everyday whether you know it or not. Branding yourself is the key to standing out no matter if you are selling a product, a service or yourself. This economy makes it essential for us all to rethink how we view and market ourselves. Why? If you are searching for a job, you are up against who knows how many applicants, many of whom will be promoting themselves as the most qualified. Even if you have a job it is really important to brand yourself, because in an unstable economy, you don't know what may happen in the future. Plenty of employees who thought they might spend their entire careers with companies like General Motors now find themselves in a job market that is vastly different from those faced by previous generations. Online employment services such as Monster.com, Indeed.com and CareerBuilder.com have a far reach for both job seekers and employers. Companies that are hiring are accustomed to being flooded with resumes. Many available jobs, whether full time, freelance or contractual, are "under the radar" and never posted. That makes it more important than ever to network. And there have never been more tools and services, most of them free, to get your name and credentials out there. Here are a few tips for creating and marketing your brand: Use online social networking: Beverly Shepard posted a reward of up to $6,000 on LinkedIn for help landing a new job after a newspaper eliminated her position as marketing manager. She was flooded with leads and publicity from her post on LinkedIn, which reaches an estimated 40 million people. Your Facebook friends list right now may hold the keys to new opportunities you haven't dreamed of. The exponential reach of social networking makes it an essential tool for extending your networking reach. Position yourself as an expert: Your interests, talents, skills, education, hobbies and perspectives are unique. You may have in-depth knowledge, experience or a passionate interest in a particular area, but have never thought about using the Web to share it. Free services such as www.PitchRate.com help you to do your own public relations and get valuable exposure in the media. I developed PitchRate to connect journalists with expert sources. Sign up and you may be contacted and asked to speak as an authority or share your story as it relates to a particular topic or trend in the news. It's another way to get the word out and brand yourself.

Network through associations: Even if you have not yet made the change to a new career, joining and becoming active in a professional association is a proven path for marketing yourself. Meeting other people involved in the same line of work will help you to get up to date on the latest trends affecting that business, and build networks that can lead to future opportunities. If you are looking for a job today you can't rest on your resume. What wins the day is creativity, persistence and the motivation to promote yourself. There have never been more tools and a better time to do it. About the Author: L. Drew Gerber is CEO of Blue Kangaroo, Inc. and creator of www.PitchRate.com, a no-charge media tool that moves the best interviews to the front of the line for journalists and producers. Gerber's business practices and staffing innovations have been revered by PR Week, Good Morning America and the Christian Science Monitor. His companies handle international PR campaigns and his staff develops online press kits for authors, speakers and companies with PressKit 24/7, a technology he developed (www.PressKit247.com). Faith like Potatoes It is important for us as individuals to realize that life cannot be rosy all the time and that through all these bad times and feelings of insecurity and unhappiness, we must always have faith and rejoice in the Lord. I want to say that when days are dark we feel lost and alone but it is normal to feel this way but we must always remember that tomorrow there is hope for a brighter day, a chance to build. I know that when one feels this way it is easy to submit to temptations in order to forget but I say unto to you now that enduring through these times is important for the progression of our souls, we become stronger by having faith and believing that God is there for us and knowing that no matter what happens we will always have faith in him and believe that he will take away the pain and sorrow. This is a time to build anew and strengthen your faith in God as you will show him that he is your pillar of strength and that no one can take that faith away from you. So it is today that I say with greatness that God knows all your minds troubles and understands (therefore find peace in this) but we need to be strong and not allow the devil to control our emotions by presenting us with temptations which just make matters worse and instead honor the Lord our God by showing him that we as his children believe that he is “the way the truth and the light.” Like in the case of David and Goliath, David was small and only had a sling shot as opposed to Goliath who was big, armored and strong. David had faith in the Lord no matter what Goliath looked like and so we too must have faith no matter how big our problems are.“Don’t show God how big your problems are but show your problems how big God is.”

In watching this business of music change in the last 10 years, there has something that I have seen stay the same. Remarkably, the performance of the so called "Indie Hip Hop Artist" is going to be a cookie cutter deal (I’m sure we could replace Hip Hop with almost any genre of music). It seems that you could literally walk into an open mic on any given night, close your eyes, and you could easily imagine the scene. Some choice performer will be introduced by the host, then walk up to the stage, give a non-prophetic performance (usually 5-10 min), and then comes the famous adjusted Russell Simmons speech: "Thankx for coming out. God bless you. Buy my CD. Follow me on Twitter. Find me on Facebook. Let's stand up for the city!" I think it's a shame that in a world where 10 year olds now have cell phones, billions of videos are posted on youtube, and you can go to the store and buy a 3D TV, that artists still do not recognize that one of the main points of being in the entertainment business is to ENTERTAIN. As much as they aspire to be like the artists they see on TV, they never study those artists to see how to make their performances better. I sometimes wonder what someone would do if they came to an open mic where at least 80% of the artists came up with a show (Just fyi, it’s not even10% right now). I don’t wanna scare hip hop artists with nightmares of dancers with some routine, but maybe they might think about something simple. Something like turning the lights off when before they hit the stage to bring some dramatics. Or here’s one… Maybe the artists could actually talk to the audience instead of waiting on the DJ to start their music. In the end, maybe no one would get signed that night, but how many paying customers, and artists, might actually get online and post this: "I saw alot of great ENTERTAINERS last night. I mean everybody actually put on a show!!! Can't wait to go to the next one!!"
