In The Community herman Elementary and Logan K-8, received needed school supplies for the 2017-2018 session, following a Grant initiative by HII San Diego Shipyard, General Dynamics NASSCO, BAE Systems and the Port of San Diego Ship Repair Association.

The donation of supplies marks the second year in a row that San Diego’s ship repair yards and Ship Repair Association have invited schools, located within the Greater Logan heights area, to apply for a grant that will help prepare them for the upcoming year.

Representatives from HII San Diego Shipyard, General Dynamics NASSCO, BAE Systems and the Port of San Diego Ship Repair Association, delivered needed supplies for two elementary schools located in the Greater Logan Heights area.

“Our four waterfront organizations (HII San Diego Shipyard, General Dynamics NASSCO, BAE Systems, and the PSDSRA) take great joy in supporting education through this school-supply Grant!
