Judo sessions
Our year 7 and 8 girls continue to make great progress in their Judo sessions with Coach, Andy. He is also running a judo club on Friday lunchtime for girls at Starkholmes.

Sixth form BTEC Sport/Sports Leaders Level 3
On Friday 1 October our year 12 and 13 BTEC Sport and level 3 sports leaders had the opportunity to work as officials in soccer.
Students all stepped up to the challenge and took advantage of playing on our new all-weather pitch. The students will be officials later on in the term for netball.
Primary Sports evening
On Wednesday young pupils from South Darley had the opportunity to play netball, kwik cricket and indoor uni-hock at Highfields for week 3 of the primary sports evenings.
Highfields sports leaders were on duty and were brilliant, as ever!
Connecting Changemakers Conference
Mrs Allen attended the Connecting Changemakers Regional Conference in Leeds as part of Highfields being a lead school for health and wellbeing.
Playmaker/Bronze Ambassador Conference
The primary schools playmaker and bronze ambassador conference took place at Highfields on Thursday, under the watchful eye of our year 9 champions.
Mr Molyneux and Mrs Allen were joined by Youth Sport Trust athlete mentor, Paul Broadbent, former GB and England Rugby League player.
