Playball covers the foundation for Sports focusing on Soccer, Baseball, Basketball, Tennis, and Hockey, as well as Playball games. Every week there are new lessons, which are also progressive throughout the semester. Your child is actively engaged, learning skills, and children consistently LOVE Playball and our classes. With over 120 different lesson plans ranging from beginner to intermediate and then advanced, even our returning Playballers enjoy the variety of engagement that our classes provide.

Unleash your natural STEM curiosity as you become an Epic Engineer with Engineering For Kids of North Atlanta! Using the Engineering Design Process, the students will explore different types of engineering, such as aerospace, chemical, civil, electrical, marine, and mechanical. Engineering For Kids’ programs are Cognia STEM Certified, STEM.org Accredited, and aligned with National Teaching Standards. With basic household and specialty supplies, the students will build individual and group projects that stay afloat, defy gravity, whoosh, and hopefully stand firm!

Description: Miss Ayana’s Dance class will help young dancers learn primary terminology, and the basic foundations to begin ballet and jazz technique. Description: Have you ever wanted to start your own business or website? In this class for budding entrepreneurs, that’s exactly what you’ll do! You’ll work with a classmate to come up with a simple company idea, taking it as far as it will go before the class ends. You’ll create a business plan, enlist friends and family, and set up everything you need to be a junior entrepreneur: a first email address, a basic app or website, and a presentation. Ultimately, you’ll share your idea with friends and family, work hard to get a first customer, and present all your progress to the whole class. You’ll have a ton of fun and accomplish more than you ever have before!

Our co-ed squad welcomes both boys and girls as we turn the school Quad into an outdoor cheer studio equipped with a single padded tumbling mat, a sturdy block mat, and pom poms (optional for boys). Already cheerleading outside of school? This class is a great way to brush up on skills, learn new skills, and better technique! First time cheerleaders are welcomed and encouraged as well. Certified TGA coaches—trained across all stunt and tumbling levels—guide students through motions, jumps, tumbling, and partner stunts, then weave those skills into an energetic dance-and-cheer routine for a friends-and-family showcase on the final day.

Description: Hop, crawl, and slither on over to Critter Club, an after-school program where children come face-to-face with reptiles and amphibians of all kinds. Throughout the semester, students will learn about why amphibians are slimy, what makes up a turtle’s shell, how snakes move without any limbs, what makes a dart frog poisonous, and more. With our hands-on learning model, students will also have the opportunity to safely meet, touch, and hold animals from our collection of critters with the guidance of our experienced instructors.

Description: GET READY TO DINK, DRIVE, AND VOLLEY WHILE HAVING FUN WITH TGA!
We convert the outdoor basketball court into a full‑size pickleball arena with our portable nets. Using real paddles and regulation outdoor pickleballs, our trained and vetted TGA coaches lead students—from eager beginners to developing intermediates—through the fast paced thrills of dinking, driving, volleying, and serving, all while sharpening strategy and teamwork.

My background is in school counseling, and I hold a certification as a Youth Yoga Educator from Yoga Ed (now Breathe for Change). This class helps build self-awareness and self-confidence through movement in a fun, calm, and supportive environment. We will learn different breathing techniques, yoga poses, and how movement combined with breathing, and music can help calm or elevate our mood.
