Precinct One Community Resource Centers

The Precinct 1 Community Resources Centers are a community-based family-focused facility that provide programs and services based on the needs of families. They provide access to high quality informational and educational programs that help improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve. Through collaborative partnerships with county agencies, departments, nonprofits, local organizations, and state and federal resources, we work directly with our community to help provide a variety of services to improve the quality of life of our residents.

Veterans Service Office

The County of Hidalgo Veteran’s Service Office is an advocate agency established to assist veterans, their dependents and survivors in obtaining entitled benefits from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs and the State of Texas.

Hidalgo County Community Service Agency

The County of Hidalgo Community Service Agency through a community action approach provides an array of emergency services for income eligible clients residing in Hidalgo County. Such services include utility assistance, referrals and linkages with a network of social service organizations, intake and needs assessments, and presentations for in service training or staff meetings.
