HAPPY 4TH OF JULY DEL WEBB NAPLES RESIDENTS,

We are halfway through the year with a busy summer so far! We look forward to seeing you all around the pool and I hope you have the best 4th of July with your families. Below are your July Property Updates and Reminders:

Golf Cart, Vehicle and Pedestrian Safety: As the community grows we want to make sure everyone is aware of our golf cart policies. Please remember all golf carts need to be registered with us and the Master Association and need to list Pulte, Hampton Golf and Del Webb Naples Community Association as additionally insured with limits of at least $300,000 for our records and must be renewed annually. Additionally, Ave Maria Stewardship District, Ave Maria Master Association, Ave Maria Development LLP and Ave Maria University must be additionally insured as shown on page 7 in the Ave Maria Stewardship District Golf Cart handbook. For the complete Del Webb Naples golf cart policy and Ave Maria’s Stewardship Golf Cart hand book please click here and here .

Please remember to stop at all stop signs in the community and obey all rules of the road including not to speed as we have had some reports of speeding lately. Remember all streets in Del Webb Naples gates are 25mph and 35mph on Anthem. Parking lots and coming into the Oasis Club is 15mph. As a reminder do not walk on the golf course cart path as this is not permitted and is dangerous. The golf course cart paths are just for the golfers.

Additionally, please remember it is not permitted to park golf carts next to the tennis, pickleball courts or other amenities on the sidewalks as it can be a safety concern and could cause pedestrians to walk off the road onto incoming traffic and we don’t want anyone getting hurt.

Lake Bank Work: Please note that repairs on Gala lake bank have been completed. Unfortunately Legendary North and sections of Plymouth will have to wait until the lake levels fall again. We will let you know when the work is scheduled. Thank you for your patience with this.

Annuals: Our first rotation of annual flowers was installed at the end of June.

Pets: Please remember to keep pets on leashes at all times in Del Webb Naples and to clean up after them.

Pool Fountain paint: We will be rescheduling this when we have a few days of no rain in the forecast. We will let you know when that is. Thanks for your patience with this.

Front Desk Weekend Hours: Please note that the front desk will be open on Saturdays from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm in the summer but will be closed on Sundays until late August. Please register your Guests before Sundays and please have them always wearing wristbands when using the amenities.

If you see something, say something: Please let us know if you ever see a safety concern we can address. No one spends more time in this community than you do, and we want everyone to be as safe as possible. Please never confront someone you don’t think belongs in Del Webb Naples, but please let us know instead.

Driveway Pavers: If your driveway pavers are lifting please have them fixed as soon as possible as this is a homeowner responsibility. Thank you very much for helping keep our community safe.

Alligator Safety Notice : If you ever see an alligator that you think is a nuisance, please call our office at (239) 455-2001, and we will ask our local licensed alligator trapper to come and evaluate the situation.

We want to remind you that feeding alligators is illegal and will only make them more dangerous to you and your fellow Residents! Anyone feeding gators is putting everyone at risk. Please report it to our offices if you witness anyone feeding them. We don’t want anyone getting hurt and want to remind you never to feed or harass alligators and never feed other wildlife. You can be arrested for feeding and harassing alligators. As a reminder, fishing in the community is also prohibited.

Please keep a safe distance from alligators and do not go near the water’s edge, walk your pets near it, or allow them to go near it. Additionally, it is not uncommon for alligators to travel from pond to pond, so you must always be aware of your surroundings regardless of where you are in the community. We are blessed to live in the beautiful southwest Florida community, and we can enjoy all of our wildlife in safe ways.

Please keep garages closed during the day, as alligators, snakes, or other wildlife can enter them. For more tips and information on living with alligators, please click here, here and here.

Coffee with Cam July: On July 18th we will have our Coffee with Cam with Juniper landscaping at 10 am at the Grand Hall. We hope to see you there!

Trash & Recycling Reminder: Please keep in mind that trash and recycling still need to be out by 6:00 am, or the county cannot guarantee pickup. Homeowners are permitted to take their trash and recycling containers out the night before for those who can’t do it the morning of. Please do not take the containers out the night before, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, to help prevent bears and other wild animals from becoming accustomed to Del Webb Naples.

We don’t want anyone hurt, so we kindly ask for your cooperation. Please click here to view the county’s brochure on trash and recycling. As a reminder, pickup days are Mondays for trash recycling and bulk and Thursdays for trash. The only days there will not be pickup are the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Please bundle landscaping materials according to the county guidelines so they can be picked up. If you want these materials picked up for a charge, please contact Juniper at customercare@juniperlandscaping.com .

LIFESTYLE & EVENTS

Summer is here, and we’re ready for a season full of fun, sunshine, and community spirit! But before we dive into all that July has to offer, let’s take a moment to look back and celebrate the wonderful memories we made in June.

From our Summer Bash event to a delicious Hibachi dinner show, last month was packed with great events and even better company. Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make it so special!

Stay tuned — July is just getting started, and there’s plenty more fun on the way!

MONDAY, JUNE 2 – PIZZA & A MOVIE NIGHT:

Residents gathered at The Oasis for another enjoyable Pizza and a Movie Night, one of our community’s most beloved monthly traditions. Held on the first Monday of each month, this event brings neighbors together for an evening of food, film, and fun. For only $8.00 attendees enjoy fresh pizza, classic movie snacks, a movie on the big screen, and the warm camaraderie of fellow Residents!

FRIDAY, JUNE 6 – COFFEE WITH CAM:

Residents recently had the opportunity to hear from Board Member Anthony Tozzi during a Coffee with CAM event. Mr. Tozzi shared valuable updates and addressed important topics affecting the Del Webb community. We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Tozzi for taking the time to engage with Residents, provide insight, and serve as a thoughtful representative and advocate for our community.

FRIDAY, JUNE 6 – SUMMER BASH:

Just because summer is here and many of our snowbirds have headed north doesn’t mean the fun stops at Del Webb! Residents gathered poolside for a festive and complimentary Summer Bash, filled with sunshine, music, and great company. Live entertainment was provided by Paul Desmarais, whose energy and talent brought the party to life. A special thank-you to Colleen Desmarais for adding an extra layer of excitement with creative games that kept everyone smiling and engaged. Loud Italian Pizza was on-site, serving up delicious fire-grilled pizza straight from their food truck, while inside The Oasis community room, refreshing ice cream cones and bowls were available—just the thing to cool off on a warm summer day.

TUESDAY, JUNE 10 –

DEL WEBB’S GOT TALENT:

Whether you already know—or are just discovering it—Del Webb is home to an abundance of talented Residents! To celebrate the creativity, passion, and hidden skills within our community, we proudly present Del Webb’s Got Talent—an unforgettable evening where our very own friends and neighbors take the stage to shine. This event would not be possible without the dedication and enthusiasm of our sound technician and master of ceremonies, Stevie Seeley. His energy, professionalism, and behind-the-scenes support help make the night truly special. Thank you to all who participate and help bring this celebration of community talent to life!

FRIDAY, JUNE 20 – VETERANS CLUB PANCAKE BREAKFAST:

Residents gathered to enjoy a beloved tradition—homemade breakfast served by the Del Webb Veterans Club! Each month, the Veterans Club hosts a Pancake Breakfast, offering a delicious, freshly prepared meal for just $5.00. Not only is it a wonderful way to start the day with friends and neighbors, but all proceeds go directly to support the important efforts of the Veterans Club. Thank you to our veterans for their service and for continuing to bring the community together through this meaningful and tasty event.
