The tools in this section of the catalog can be applied to more than one Waukesha engine model series. Tools for specific engine model series can be found in their respective sections.
Spark Plug Gapping Kit Tool No. 475033 Contains all the tools required to set the gaps on a Champion RM77N 18 mm spark plug. Included in the kit is a gap setting tool for closing the gaps, a gap spreading tool and two gap setting gauges (0.010 in. and 0.020 in.).
Spark Plug Gapping Tool Tool No. 494422 (0.018 – 0.022 Standard) Designed to gap the Champion spark plugs with four side electrodes. Slips over the center electrode and the side electrodes are bent into the tool, gapping the plug to specification. Not recommended for gapping used plugs.
Spark Plug Gapping Tool Tool No. 494421 (0.010 – 0.013 GL) Designed to gap the Champion spark plugs with four side electrodes. Slips over the center electrode and the side electrodes are bent into the tool, gapping the plug to specification. Not recommended for gapping used plugs.
Spark Plug Spreading Tool Tool No. 475006
Spark Plug Wrench Tool No. 475008
This tool spreads the side electrodes. It is especially handy on Champion RM77N four electrode plugs.
Custom designed plug socket (with 10 in. pinned extension) for CSA, shielded ignition spark plugs (7/8 in. hex). It grabs the plug’s inside diameter at the upper end. This tool fits the following plugs: Shielded, CSA (integral coils).
