Operation 34 Coolant temperature telltale (red)
Danger! Never open the radiator and never drain coolant if the engine is warm since the cooling system is under high pressure –
Danger of burns! ☞ Wait at least 10 minutes after stopping the engine! ☞ Wear protective gloves and clothing ☞ Open the cap to the first notch and release the pressure! 35 Cold starter telltale (yellow) Comes on if the key in the preheating start switch is in position 2. A glow plug preheats the air in the combustion chamber of the engine when the key is in this position. 36 Safe load indicator telltale (red) (option) This optical warning device tells the driver whether he has reached the admissible (pay)load or load moment according to the (pay)load diagram.
☞ Reduce the load until the telltale goes out 38 Fuel level indicator
39 Hour meter Counts the engine service hours with the engine running.
