Functional description - lubricant oil system The drive for the lubricating oil pump A is executed via the crankshaft I on the switch side. The engine oil is suctioned up through the green channels. In the red channels, the engine oil is at a working pressure of 4 bar. The returning engine oil is conveyed through the yellow channels to the engine oil sump K. The lubricant oil pressure is monitored by engine control unit N005.
