WARNING
Parts to be supplied
Do not carry out maintenance operations when the electric power supply is turned on: always check to ensure that the appliances are properly grounded. During diagnosis and maintenance operations, make sure that your hands and feet are dry, and whenever possible use insulating stands.

IMPORTANT! Note that Tigercat machines are equipped with an After Run/Accessory Relay which delays by 90 seconds the power disconnect to engine related fuses and relays (ECU /ATS relay, NOx Sensor relay, NOx Sensor fuse, ECU Power fuse, DCU fuse). Whenever the engine is stopped, all DEF solution is pumped back to tank before the engine power system is turned off. This process takes approximately 90 seconds.

(*) The amounts indicated relate to the standard configuration of the engine only. (1) Use a mixture of water and 60% Antifreeze even during the summer months. Antifreeze must comply with international specifications ASTM D-6210. (2) Engine oil must be CJ-4 certified. The viscosity level of oil to be used depending on surrounding temperatures in given in the table provided in the appendix. Oil consumption is considered acceptable until it reaches a maximum of 0.5% of fuel consumption (3) The amounts indicated refer to initial filling, and include filling the engine, sump and filter. (4) Use ULTRA LOW SULFUR diesel fuel ONLY. (S≤15 mg/kg) Engines are designed and warranted for optimum operation with mixtures of diesel and biodiesel up to 7%. No fuel additive are required.Any use of fuel additive must be approved by Tigercat.
Refer to SELECTIVE CATALYTIC REDUCTION SYSTEM in your machine’s Operator’s Manual for more information.
