Troubleshooting
Measure the steering time.
When a user complains that steering the machine is hard, first m easure the time required for steering. Then determine whether the user feels ste ering hard (slow) although the system is normal or it is really hard (slow) due to malfunction. Measure the operating time of hydraulic cylinders in accordance with the description in the section of measurement of system performance.
1. Place the machine in a travel position on a level, paved surf ace with the parking brake released.
2. Warm the hydraulic fluid to an operating temperature (40 - 60 °C).
3. Make the bucket empty.
4. Check tires for correct inflation pressures. Air Pressure:220 kPa(2.2 kgf/cm2)
5. With the machine under the above conditions and the engine ru nning at the maximum speed, measure the time required to steer the wheels from the left stop to the right stop and from the right stop to the left st op.
Refer Performance standard list for standard value.
