・Right turn
When the steering wheel is turned right, the oil passage in the power steering ass’y will shift as shown in the figure. The oil discharged from the main pump flows at first through two passages, one runs from the spool (8) to the spool (4) and the other runs from the LS check valve to the spool (4), then they merge with each other and go to the steering cylinder through the rotor (1). At this time, the spool of the priority valve shifts to the left due to the force balance between the orifice and the control spring. The displacement of the spool (4) is determined by the rotating angle of the steering wheel. An oil quantity corresponding to the rotating angle is fed to the steering wheel, and the remaining oil is fed to the control valve.
