COMPONENT OPERATION ／ BRAKE

・Parking brake

The parking brake and the service brake use the same wet disk brake. It consists of HST charging hydraulic circuit (hydraulic pressure source) and electrical circuits including the parking brake switch and parking brake solenoid valve .

The parking brake switch on the right hand side of the meter panel operates the parking brake.

＜ Parking brake is applied ＞

1.When the parking brake switch (9) is pushed to turn it on, the hydraulic oil in the parking brake cylinder chamber (11) is drained by the parking brake solenoid valve (10).

2.The parking brake piston (12) is moved to the left due to force of the spring (13) and the wet disk brake is applied through the service brake piston (6).
