Equipment Inside the Cab

Engine Trouble Warning Lamp

This lamp will light up when trouble occurs in the engine or when coolant runs out. If the lamp is lit, check the indicators in the carrier driver’s cab and see the separate Crane Carrier Operation and Maintenance manual.

Low Noise Mode Switch

While this switch is ON, the engine revolution is limited and does not reach to maximum even when the accelerator pedal is depressed fully. Use this switch for night operation or to avoid high noise.

ON.......low noise mode activated (engine speed limited to approx. 1,500 min-1 [rpm])

OFF.....low noise mode canceled (maximum engine speed: approx. 2,000 min-1 [rpm])

Front Washer Switch

[NOTICE]

◆ Do not use the wipers on dry glass; doing so will damage the glass. Wet glass by spraying the window with washer fluid before using the wipers.

◆ Never spray washer fluid continuously for more than 3 seconds and do not operate the washer switch when there is no window washer fluid. This practice may burn out the pump.

Washer fluid can be sprayed on the front glass by pressing this switch.

Front Wiper Switch

Use this switch to operate the front wiper for a rainy day.

Cigarette Lighter

[NOTICE]

◆ Observe the following precautions to prevent a fault in the electrical system:

• Do not let the cigarette lighter remain pushed in.

• Pull out the cigarette lighter by hand if it does not pop out within 15 to 20 seconds after it has been pushed in.

• Do not use the cigarette lighter power supply for anything other than as a cigarette lighter.

• Do not allow the cigarette lighter to become deformed. A misshapen cigarette lighter will not pop out properly. Replace a lighter that is malfunctioning.

The cigarette lighter will pop out a few seconds after it has been pushed in. Pull out to use.

Roof Washer Switch

[NOTICE]

◆ Do not use the wipers on dry glass; doing so will damage the glass. Wet glass by spraying the window with washer fluid before using the wipers.

◆ Never spray washer fluid continuously for more than 3 seconds and do not operate the washer switch when there is no window washer fluid. This practice may burn out the pump.

Washer fluid can be sprayed on the roof glass by pressing this switch.

Roof Wiper Switch

The roof wiper switch is used to turn the roof wiper ON and OFF.

Flood Lamp Switch

When the flood lamp switch is turned ON, the flood lamps (one on the side of the boom, one on the right face of the swing table and one on the top face of the cab) will illuminate.

◆ Never turn ON the flood lamps when traveling.

Oil Cooler Switch

[NOTICE]

◆ If the hydraulic oil temperature185°F (85°C) warning lamp lights up, stop operation until the oil temperature drops.

“ON” .....The oil cooler functions regardless of the hydraulic oil temperature. Shift the switch to this position to cool down the hydraulic oil whose temperature is below 122°F (50°C). If cooling down the oil is required no more, return the switch to “OFF”.

“OFF” ...The oil cooler functions automatically when the hydraulic oil temperature exceeds 122°F (50°C). For ordinary operation, keep the switch to this position.

◆ When the hydraulic oil temperature exceeds 122°F (50°C), the hydraulic oil temperature 122°F (50°C) indicator lamp lights up.

When the oil temperature exceeds 185°F (85°C), the hydraulic oil temperature 185°F (85°C) warning sign lights up.

Cab Lamp Switch (in the left of cab close to the door)

Neutral ・・・・lamp turns on when the door is open and goes off when the door is closed

“OFF” ・・・・・lamp stays off regardless of door position

“ON ” lamp stays on regardless of door position.

Cab Lamp Switch (in the right of cab)

“ON ” ・・・・・・・・・lamp stays off.

Neutral, “ON ” ・・・lamp stays on.

Fan Switch (Option)

The fan switch is used to turn the fan ON and OFF. “ON ” ・・・・・fan comes on
